A student visa is for Studying. Not for permanent residency. Not for citizenship. Not for brining one's family over. Not for working illegally. Student Visa = Study = Graduate = Return to your country to grow your own country. If one paid illegal brokers to get a visa for a job, that is not Canada's fault. If you falsified your Immigration papers to falsify you are coming to study and your family has sufficient funds it is not Canada's problem you have to repay illegal broker loans. Whomever is here past their visa period and working full time instead of continuing with their education, should be deported immediately. This is taking university seats from local Canadians and taking full time jobs away from Canadian legal citizens.

We need to get rid of property management companies and have the provincial governments take over all housing. These slum property management companies are getting away with way too much. Because of that, many people brought their families and the spouses were allowed to work as temporary workers. \n\nAll this was to be a temporary arrangement but people moved in droves without considering the possibility of things changing. They figured that between two jobs, however small, a family could survive. Sadly, not true. We already have a crisis at home and this made things even worse for the locals. There are low income families here as well. Things like Covid and the war has affected Canada badly. \n\nGovt failed to make it clear that the lifting of work restrictions for students was a temporary move. People also got carried away. In the end, everything has become a royal mess. As I said, it is a sad situation for both sides.

Why not just exclusively adopt the skill qualification as the criteria for granting PR status like 20-30 years ago. Isnt that the minimum every 1st world countries should require?They can bring their immediate spouses and children BUT do away with allowing old parents or Grandparents. Another Indian trick is Flagpoling which is coming to Canada on a Visitor Visa, going to the US Border, getting turned away since their visitor visa does not allow entry to the USA, and then coming back to Canada, and applying for a Work Permit at the CDN Port of Entry, hard to believe but that is completely legal, and has led to Indians taking a lot of jobs from CDN citizens

Hi, I'm from India live in India and never dreamt of any other country's citizenship, India is my motherland. As a teacher, I can say that students are going to Western countries because agencies from US, UK, Canada lure them for better education opportunities and better life, their parents spend all their life savings for them and live in financial difficulty here. Some of these agencies are not legal, and people get trapped in various immigration scams all over world. I can see in video the life they are living in bad condition. I think US or UK or Canada or even for the matter India should not allow atleast voting rights, to immigrants right away. If you find some of them useful loyal for betterment of country they can be allowed local citizen's rights. Rest all who are trapped or illegally immigrated should be sent where they belong to by helping them in some way.

What are the companies employing them doing? They need to train their workers to smile. Some of them use fake school certificates to enter the country. Others use illegal methods to obtain business loans and then shut down their businesses after receiving government funds. They have connections within the system. There are fake Indian colleges that process illegal students. My ex husband told me about one school. They get away with too many things, and sadly, those with legitimate certifications who are studying at authorized colleges and paying tuition are unfortunately affected. I'm sure there’s a process in place to ensure that not all will be deported.

It’s not a hatred as much as is their way to get things. For example jobs. You marry Indian so you see matters from a different perspective, their prospective. It also takes away from from Canadians getting into Canadian colleges and universities as the international students get charged higher tuition fees. More money for the universities. Canadian students end up going over seas. I have a few friends whose kids tried getting into medical school here but were refused. They ended up in Australia, in medical school and are living there now as doctors. We could have used them here.

Even before watching I can tell you - Germany does not want Skilled labor immigrants, but unskilled. How about zero? Like what is he thinking ? Calgary has around 10% unemployment , they say it’s lower like 6 or 8% . When it’s that high then it should be zero. I really don't understand how do they expect us to gain C1-C2 level of proficiency within a very limited amount of time. They wish to attract workers, but aren't even considerate if you are making efforts in learning the language. It's really a lost cause. It's highly taxing on a person to upskill, study, try to survive and be fluent in a foreign language at the same time. There is racism, especially if you are a person of colour, and you will always be looked down upon to the point of being shunned away, refusing to allow you to get accustomed to the society. Try hard to make it in your own country or search for better prospects.
