And when you go to the U.S.A., all you do is criticise the country, saying it's poor, full of drug addicts, and so on.

I have spent quite a bit of time in USA and I always find my experience split. For the most part the people and places are great. As a filmmaker I have shot in NYC, California, Mississippi to name a few. The people were always accommodating and friendly. One time a gentlemen and his wife that allowed us to film in his property would bring us hot chocolate at night, then offered to shoot anyone who got in our way. I was also filming in the desert in 2009 and I almost got shot in the face by a group of police officers that charged in guns out and tempers raging, before realizing that we had film permits and were scheduled to be on site. Only to have the crew say that if I was black they would have shot first and asked questions later. As tensions rise between Canada and USA with Trump's trade war and attempt to ANNEX Canada I think I will do my filming in other parts of the world, if not in Canada. I have plenty of American friends and know a lot of Canadians that live in the US. I just hope things settle between our two nations soon. Where do you live? In India the terminology would be more offensive, “lower class.” \n\nFor my graduation, I applied for my mother’s visa (my mother, who became a widow at 39, raised us under great difficulties with a meager pension of INR 350. She had not gone to school beyond 5th grade and she had no ancestral property, not even a red brick in her ancestral home. \n\nMy mother’s visitor visa was rejected and to this day — I am in my 70s now — it hurts me that she was not present when I received my PhD at Berkeley, one of the top-rated int’l universities. They rejected her visitor visa probably because she had nothing to show as her assets in her application. \n\nBut later. with me getting a job here as a research engineer in a large corporation, my mother visited the US five times. \n\nNot only that, even my older brother and sister in law got a ten-year multiple entry visitor visa when the came for my daughters wedding. \n\nThe point I am trying to make to your mostly upper middle class internationally well connected viewers is that visas are ALWAYS a privilege, never a right, no matter how well placed and well connected in your home country. Just want to say here something. I am from third world country too and came here few years back. Give an India a office job and pay them $12 per hour they would be very happy and give them $35 an hour and ask them to work outside they won't do it, because it is shame for them.

I voted Trump, but interestingly, this topic I stand closer to critiquing the the banning of trans service members. I'm not saying it should necessarily be promoted glorified or forcefully inclusive, as the inclusion of any gender, race, etc would be, but if you're proven capable in your capacity, why shouldn't you serve? \n\nThe primary criticisms are mental health, medical requirements, and physical incapability. But mental health and physical incapability are tested in basic training and further training, if someone can't keep up with it, they would be rightfully ousted from being able to serve. This may be more evident with FTM transgenders than not since men are more physically capable. \n\nBut in the case of this pilot, a person who requires a lot of technical skill at the position, is it not fruitful to open up diversity to get the best talent for this job?

so let's pose a question to all those who seem to just hate the LGBTQIA+ community for whatever their reasons are....if someone who happens to be transgender saves your life, saves the life of one of their team members or perhaps leads an OP to a successful outcome, would you say that they were unqualified after the fact ? would you say that now as the regulations are being changed that they were never qualified to have performed those duties in the past ?? I've said this before, when you're downrange you don't give a damn if someone has a taco or a hotdog in their lunchbox, all that matters is that they've got your six and are willing to complete the directive as ordered. Every single one of you haters needs to realize that so many LGBTQIA+ service members have dedicated their efforts to keeping your asses safe in this country since the inception of the uniformed services were established. Should they not have done so ? Why does who they love, have sex with or how they dress actually matter to you as long as you're still able to go out and feed your fat ass an all American Cheeseburger under the watchful eye of the American Flag ?! And at the end of the day, all they ask is to be able to serve their country with dignity. It's disgusting that so many of y'all simply hate other folks this way and try to diminish the service of the LGBTQIA+ community.

This is a great example of why I hate this whole fake trans rants about women sports, and why I wish people would just say they hate trans people. The argument is a trans woman has an advantage over born/biological females? So if this navy commander can meet the physical requirements, then what's the problem? This is why I hate the disingenuous nature of the trans discussion, using dumb things as talking points instead of just saying what it's about. Just say you hate trans people, the idea of them. I saw the same garbage with gay marriage. Arguing about baking cakes or flowers, when the reality it's just you don't like gay people.

If a man takes estrogen and testosterone blockers to become a woman, he literally becomes weaker and may not be able to pass the fitness standards. Why would we support doing something that makes a service member weaker. However, if trans men want to take a lot of testosterone shots and become as strong as natural men, I’d say that’s a win.

I hate Trump and everything he stands for but transgenders serving openly are contrary to the principle of good order and discipline. No matter what people think transgenders are not respected by their subordinates and there has to be respect to be an effective leader. In this man's case he flies as a crew of 1 and possibly 2 so he doesn't require respect from his subordinates but a frontline combat officer leading a company would get zero respect and would probably get fragged. The standards have to be the same across all branches and all jobs and that's not possible. The military is mostly populated with southern and mid western men and they will never accept this so as a veteran I support this move to ban them. I would also like to see the standards restored in regards to fat heterosexuals too. There's nothing that says lack of discipline like a fat soldier whose buttons on his BDU shirt are about to pop and they can't see their toes.

the reason there saying is people are getting there is to get the sugery then they are out for months and then they arnt able to do some active duty someone sajd. \n\nmaybe someone that has been transitioned for awhile or would be different.

I have a lot of sympathy for these people, especially considering many gave up everything they had to pay smugglers to get this far while our government was effectively letting everyone in while offering additional incentives such as money and temporary housing. That said, if we don't have borders we don't have a country. Add on the massive welfare state that they will all become burdens on, either immediately or eventually, and it becomes clear to anyone with a little bit knowledge and common sense that the policies of the Biden administration that allowed things to get this bad, if not stopped immediately, would mean the end of the middle class, the further impoverishment of the lower class and massive benefits for the wealthiest among us. And when I say wealthy I'm not talking about the guy making 7 figures. I mean those who control billions, either directly or indirectly. You know, the same people who have the power to influence political parties to enact such policies and push narratives by the corporate media that state anyone who questions the policy is racist, greedy, heartless, or xenophobic.

Why are we seeing this that's an easy question to answer can you say Joe Biden Kamala Harris put the blame where it belongs now what do you think North Korea would have done if they had tried that there what do you think China would have done if they had tried that there or Russia I see no reason in the world why we can't do the same thing That's an invasion our country is being invaded or people are being attacked allow them to defend our country and allow them to defend themselves using any means necessary

Go to their country and try to force your way in, without being properly vetted and see how far you get!! I promise you, the US is a lot more merciful than any other country would be towards people trying to force their way in, or sneak in!!!!!
