Trumps playbook is easy to read. He puts down the economy with tariffs, buys millions of stocks when they are cheap and then he stops the tariffs saying Mexico and Canada have successfully stopped fentanyl. Economy goes back up and he just got richer on all of your backs.

Trudeau stop saying the American people Trump is not the democratic president stop saying American people. Just say Trump. Most Americans don't approve. Trump tariffs not the American tariffs. Not our government it's Trump.

So Canada is allowed to secure their border and be proud of that but when trump does it these same people come out and call on him not to be racist and care for his neighbour? Everything this man says is a lie

Canadian here. My husband and I listen at you here on CNN Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and we couldn't be more proud of you and your team. You say intelligent words right from the start and you deliver a strong message in a very strong manner, beginning with this: the US is declaring economic war on Canada, as well as strong arguments, and that fentanyl is just a pretext, which we all already know, that getting closer to Russia and cutting ties with its allies is Donald Trump's current course of action, and the fair question to ask is why is this man putting himself at the service of the Kremlin which is totally unnatural for an American.?

America is now the enemy…a nation allied with the murderous regime of Dictator Putin’s, Russia. \nI’m Australian & I am disgusted by America. Americans might say that they stand with Canada or Ukraine however, tens of millions of you voted for Trump in 2024 & you knew his level of tyranny, his ideology, his policies, his criminality, his intentions. Canada (and many other countries) spent decades supporting the maintenance of US hegemony. Look what it got us? To a position where we're pretty much greatly dependent on, and at the mercy of the US. We need to invest more in our own country and make our own products. We should also trade with other countries regardless of what the US thinks of those countries. Trump wants Canada to put tariffs on China in the attempt to further impede that country's economic growth so the US will remain the economic hegemony. I agree with Canada in every statement said here. It’s sad that Americans have allowed themselves to be manipulated by one man. As an American I say to Canada and Mexico, do what you need. TRUmp is simply charging the same tariff that they are charging America. It’s called fair trade and FairPlay to trump. He’s saying you charge me a dollar I charge you a dollar. The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. In Mr Trump’s first term, as eclipsed as they were by the many many many actions and attitudes he imposed on us that embarrassed and hurt us as a country, there was the rare occasional decision I could at least understand even if I did not support it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I can only say how sorry I am for what the country I love is being used to do to you all, especially our closest allies and friends and in particular the people of Canada today. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I never imagined that would stop but now I find it hard to imagine how it might continue and it breaks my heart.

I wish I could move to Canada where there are actual “rational thinking leaders”. It is so refreshing to listen to President Trudeau…he seems so sane, so even tempered and SO normal and he presents himself as a very mature thinking adult with excellent leadership, communication and motivational skills. What Trump seems to try to get at most is the unfair act of the USMCA. Most trades benefited Canada, while Canada refused to provide the same fair trades. Sometimes Trump does say things that may have gone off track like fentyl handling on Canada's end and border handling. It seems like our borders at the time were less strict on the American side versus the Canadian side of the border. Trump did state multiple times that most countries like Canada were unfair to USA. Even with the USMCA, America got screwed by Mexico as will. America has been there helping and supporting and submitting to every country. Yet failed to support our own people when we need it, especially to clear up our own debts. Sadly, America is falling behind due to poor handling of Government Democrat corruption. I am neutral as both parties don't always provide the best solution for everyone. You have to pick who can help the American people. Seeing how corrupt the Democrats has ran America and the defacto behind of all the wars and money laundering has surprised me, and I hope the change with Trump will help everyone realize how screwed we all are in correcting those corruption that isn't really needed.
