My dad came to this country in the 80s; I was born here. I had a lovely childhood in the 90s and 2000s. My parents bought a house in suburban Toronto with just a high school education. They sent us to public school, which was perfectly good. I was looking forward to buying my own house, etc. I loved this country. Even back then, people were reticent about being too nationalistic. But I was PROUD to be Canadian even though my parents were not born here. I thought of myself as Canadian, I sang O Canada proudly, I celebrated Remembrance Day in a solemn way even as a child, and I would have died for the country if we had been at war. \n\nWell, not anymore. I don't recognize this country after years of Trudeau. I can never buy a house here, the cost of groceries is burdening me, and the younger people in my family can't even find part time jobs as students. People are increasingly rude, crime has me on edge, it's congested. Freedom of speech, which was taken for granted when I was very young, is dwindling away. Churches have been burnt, Trudeau has incited hatred against people who disagree with him. I'm actually moving to the USA to work there, so that will ease a lot of these issues. (I know it's not perfect down there, but having spent a lot of time there, I can see many things are better). But I'm sad. I'm sad for my family that still lives here. I'm sad that the country I once loved is gone.

Eastern countries culture will never be watered down, yet we aren’t allowed to keep our westernised countries. I have no issue with being a multi-cultural country (Australia), however I take issue with multiculturalism. Immigrants of the past, would move to a westernised country and adopt the culture, lifestyle , mix with the locals and be proud to be one of them, that’s a multi-racial society. Multiculturalism on the other hand is Muslims and Indians etc that are known for not assimilating, instead living in enclaves and recreating their home country within our country. Why should these people who have zero interest in our culture , people and way of life be welcomed into our westernised countries where all they care about is using our resources? It’s absolutely absurd our governments allow this to happen! In Australia, Indians are the second highest intake, soon to be number one. There are so many of them, soon Australia will be India and Australians of all nationalities will be the minority in our own country. They buy up all the food businesses in the area, and fire all the non-Indians, they take up all the jobs in IT and low paying jobs due to being cheap labour. In teams, they ostracised the non-Indians on the team. Aussie suburbs now look like parts of India with them having multiple local fb networking groups where hoards of them take over the local park, playing their music loudly on the weekends. Ignorant people see them as mild mannered, they don’t see the dangers of how racist they can be to non-Indians and how rapidly they take over areas. When they become the majority in Australia, the non-Indians are going to be pushed out of their country. Unlike other migrants (with the exception of Muslims) they refuse to blend in and co-exist and become Aussies. They plan to overtake and destroy our countries into versions of their home country hell holes.

I never imagined Canada would be like this, I always looked forward to living there at old-age...

The Europeans looked so hard for India when they got to North America they called the people Indians. Native Americans would have thought the same thing seeing white people taking over.

It's Russia you're looking for. The last bastion for traditional, Judeo-Christian-based republicanism on Earth. And you said you're from there, originally! Or China—but the culture-shock would be much more intense.

Çanadians looking to this government to do anything substantial or than sending billions overseas are in for a big disappointment. They are not going to cut immigration substantially because that takes away their voter base. Which would drive them further down in the polls and an even less chance of being reelected.

I went to college in brampton from 2019-2021. 2 white people 3 black people and 1 asian person in my classes (the group had the same classes). A couple nice punjabi guys explained that the others don’t like any other race. They all still asked me for help though, & after helping numerous guys who barely speak english they would leave and go back to talking in punjabi and never look at me again. really sad way to treat people who helped you

It's all about genetics. If you are short, ugly and physically weak (vast majority of Indian men), racism will automatically follow you. Improve your genetics, Indian people. Arranged marriages have destroyed your genetics where a person that looks like a donkey and just as smart can find a partner via an arranged marriage and reproduce their bad genes. In my country, for a man to find a partner, we have to go to the gym, we have to physically look good, learn to defend ourselves, educate ourselves, get high paying jobs etc to find a partner. An Engineering degree won't automatically get us a partner here, we have to look good and fight for the women's love. Ugly, short, weak men who can't defend themselves, they don't get to find a partner and they die off and their weak genes die off with them. Sometimes if they are ugly and weak but super rich they will find a wife but that's a rare case. Indians haven't kept up with world standard genetics of strength, height, looks, physical ability. They have always relied on Maths and Science degrees and overseas high paying jobs to find a partner and be respected. Guess what, my neighbor is 6 foot 2 inches in height, he goes to the gym, works hardand when he walks down the street, everyone respects him and talks nicely to him and he doesn't need an Engineering degree to get that respect. He works in a factory but the world respects him because of good genetics and he can beat you up if you say anything to him. It's his good genetics that get's him respect. I have ugly, short and weak Indian friends and they get racial attacks all the time. I also have good looking, tall and strongly built Indian friends and they don't experience racism. It's all in your genetics. So stop reproducing weak genes and let them die off and in 50 - 70 years, Indian genetics will improve with tall, strong good looking men and women and your desirability overseas will improve meaning you could go anywhere in the world and be respected, you wouldn't have to do Engineering and Math based courses to balance off bad genetics or to get respect etc. You would be able to get service based jobs with little education with good genetics, like Realestate Agent, Management, Customer Service roles, Business roles etc. Not just stuck in a computer lab crunching numbers like most Indian men going overseas do now.

I opened a business in Canada with a partner in 1974. By 1985, in spite of having a successful business, I moved to the US in 1985, and have never looked back. Canada was moving in a direction in the 80’s, that I could see was no longer a fit for me. I never believed that Canada would sink as low as it has, but I have to admit, compared to the US, it was becoming far too regulated, and far too Liberal for my liking.\nThe open immigration policy for me, was a complete deal breaker, and its current shift to being a Muslim, East Indian, Chinese, and African country, would not have worked for me, as a Canadian Protestant of English, Irish, and French descent. I know for a fact that the Chinese are extensively involved in the current synthetic drug crisis, and although there are many law abiding Chinese in Canada, they serve to camouflage the Chinese underworld that exists in Canada, as they do in Mexico, that allows them to pipeline these drugs to Canada, which is being destroyed by this crisis. All said, Canada is becoming a crime ridden, drug infested Muslim shithole, where Canadians can look forward to sharing this demise with their Chinese, and East Indian neighbours.

There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. It’s because of behaviour like this Canadians are hating international students from India .?. The 2022 -2023 batch on international students are a disgrace not saying g all of them are bad just most dont come to study just a back door into the country they see one of there family members went to Canada and they should to ?‍♀️. There was a polling conducted and most Canadians want less immigration from India . Canada is not as big like America . Having so ma y people come in just puts a strain on housing, who would think that people from a hot country would want to go to a cold country…. Just go to a wormer country . Many Indians aren’t even thinking about coming to Canada anymore look for other countries. Or better yet stay in India ??. If you have money you can live a really good life in India . Taxes , are high , homes are crazy expensive , car insurance is high , people’s are getting there cars stolen don’t see the benefit really coming to Canada . And most Indians already own there own house in India so way come to Canada and in India you pay very small taxes as well .?‍♂️ and at the end of the day white people are so racist towards Indians know they look at you like you are the reason there life is messed up ? make India. Great ????. America only has its military going for it it’s such a racist place to live as well . Canada talks about how great their health care is but when you see the wait times and how they have less doctors not so great . Canada and America are only great if you are already rich but if you are poor or middle class life is a struggle. I came to Canada in 2016 worked in IT until I had enough money saved up moved back to India and bought land and built a house just started buying more land and when I had enough moved back to India . Us Indians can be successful anywhere so way not be successful in our country. Hold out politicians accountable to make our country great ……… if someone wants to still come go right ahead it’s your life . But I don’t see the point t really ???‍♂️. India. And Japan is the most technology advanced country more than America even . America and Canada are just is just over hyped…… and there people are so racist to our people so way would I want to stay in there country ?‍♂️. And people that will say they want to bring there parents to Canada most of t he time it is cold and they will be inside so it’s better for your parents to live in india. Personally. I have my parents they live in GOA with me they can’t be happier.

I went to Germany for my Masters at one of their top universities, back then (10 years ago) taken in by their great public image and a personal interest in Germany history and culture. Looking back now having also experienced living in the UK, HK and Sweden thereafter, I can understand why Germany has trouble attracting the top talents, or any ambitious individuals seeking to develop their career overseas.\n\nIt doesn't provide the money.\nIt doesn't provide a dynamic enough market and opportunities.\nIt doesn't provide the same type of diversity and excitement in truly world-class cities like London, HK etc. Don't get me started on food.\nEverything is functional but that seems to be the sole standard to aspire to. \nGermans are not the people whom you can bond easily. Sincere and friendly many are, but the amount of effort needed to even crack beyond that shell is ridiculous. In this respect I think most north europeans are quite cold and distant. But working with Germans you need to also handle their 'honesty', intensity and directness on top of that. The lack of nuance rubs a lot of people in the wrong way. \n\nThe Germans whom I met and spent their formative years overseas are fantastic. Invariably none of them would have thought of moving back.

I grew up in Montreal and left to go to graduate school in California. I have since moved to Las Vegas (California was a dissaster runned by Democrats who screwed up everything) and everything fell into place and I am extremely happy. I make a good living here and I can usually make a same day or next day appointment to see a doctor when I need one. I remember how bad government runned healthcare in Canada was and that it used to take months to make an appointment to see a doctor. The medical system in the USA is top notch as long as you live in a Republican dominated state. I guess that's the difference between Canada's government runned healthcare and the USA's private healthcare. Anytime the government operates a system it is a dissaster. If you're looking to move somewhere I would recommend Las Vegas.

Thank you for making this video. I have heard these exact words from so many people lately you are not alone. The Canada we once knew and grew up in has changed significantly, not for the better I fear. Were I your age I would consider leaving but I am aging and picking up and leaving is a little more daunting than it may have been 30 years ago. Hey, to all you people from Europe, how about you take a look at what your own country did in the middle east, aswell as what America did. \n\nDid your countries not go there? Did they not shell the cities and houses there? \n\nAnd if you don't think it is your countries fault, but America's or Canada's fault, why has your country not protested their actions? Why have they been silent?\n\nStart using your brain. Your government gives ZERO F's about you, your family and culture, etc. They care about money and looking good towards the rest of the world.\n\nSo protest against your government, not because it is allowing migrants in, but because it allowed for migrants to form. Because yes it would have been more expensive to help rebuild their homes and society after Europe and most of north America blew it up, but that is how the world works. Breaking stuff is easier then fixing it. \n\nBesides, I have heard that countries have a beautifully large amount of money going towards the military. How about instead of them causing trouble to YOU, the common people, and isntead use that money to keep your country actually safe.

I am in New York and I have been thinking for a while now... but I happen to be a civil servant - this type of job is comfortable, but not re-locatable. So for me this would be even more major. Do they need American civil servants in Vietnam? j/k. But I have looked at your trip to China and might look it over again. Somehow I think you are moving to Europe - not Asia! If I didn't have family and other obligations in Ontario I would have left a long time ago and never returned. My biggest issue is that the culture as eroded so much that there is no sense of community anymore. Everyone seems to be competing with each other at all times. Trying to make friends in North America as a whole is brutal. Every time I go abroad it is very refreshing to take part in cultures where people actually look out for one another. When I come back to Canada I always feel starved of what is important in life.

Alina , I was born and raised on a farm in Canada (Ontario) , I moved to US in 1987 , yes a life time ago. Landlords do not want to rent their places because of stories like this and THAT is why there is a shortage of rental housing in Canada! Why would any landlord want to put themselves in such a vulnerable position, potentially not getting rent and in turn not being able to cover their OWN mortgage. Does the bank let people not pay their mortgage for a year?! No! I know so many people who have empty suites that they won’t rent out because they are worried about tenants not leaving when it isn’t working out or when they want their space back etc. It’s so frustrating as an owner and parent of kids who are getting older and who are looking for rentals. If the tenancy board can’t do their job then get rid of them and hire new people who can.

Canada's immigration policy is a joke. As the CEO of a multi-national company employing hundreds of people in Canada and ready to invest millions into the Canadian economy, I was waiting for a work permit for three years, and my PR process has already taken two years without seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. \nCanada's IRCC prefers to bring the weak and the vulnerable, which will weaken the economy and the infrastructure even more. While those capable of creating wealth for this country would be looking for the opportunities in the more welcoming economies.

US as a better place to go?have you tried to get a green card, checked the rents in cities Like San Francisco or NYC, their health care, non existing public transport, graduate debts at the end of uni, gun crime....??? Would you not expect to know English when you live there? Everyone needs to look at their own priorities.

Don't bother with the UK, sadly. It's the same here. Mass immigration has suppressed wages and made most of our town and cities look like downtown Mogadishu. Pride in the country and your neighbourhood has gone, made worse by rampant woke indoctrination in schools and the workplace. Now we have an authoritarian/totalitarian government in charge (big majority on a third of the vote! and only half the electorate bothered to vote). It doesn't even resemble what it was like in 2022, never mind 2020! I would leave, but where do you go. Also, it is my home.

Sorry to hear the country you live in and love is not what it used to be. For me a Québécois, we missed the boat in 1995. Too bad if you don’t like it but we got screwed by newly arrived immigrants back then and we are being drowned by immigrants now. The difference is that you too in the ROC are being drowned. I am a Quebec nationalist, it’s in my guts. My family has roots going back to New France. Canada has always been an imposition for us just as we to the First Nations I guess. That’s unfortunately neither here nor there at this point in history and I apologize for it. I could blame the Trudeau government but any government in Canada would do the same for neoliberal/conservative ideological reasons. We have a neoconservative government right now in Quebec. They have practically killed our nation from the inside in order to discredit the social democratic and socialist tendencies that did so much to develop this nation. These are the ones who would literally step on their grandmothers neck to attain higher status in life. Since for me this place is where I feel the most a part of and have understood long ago that the ROC had done everything to negate us as a people a nation and the dream of an independent country with close ties to the ROC is and probably never was in the cards, I have started hoping for some kind of political union with mother France since it has become painfully clear that Canada as a strong bicultural self respecting truly independent country is a bygone notion. Just look at our military, it’s a monumental farce. Look at the insane levels of immigration, we cannot support this!! PERIOD!!! Look at way we genuflect to the US’s economic visions without questioning anymore. The Quebec people are a nation, Canada unfortunately is only a notion. For me getting out of Canada is also a reality except since this place never was one of a cash cow there only to send funds to some family elsewhere I believe we Québécois and Québécoise, with the respect for the First Nations that we have always owed them, need to go our way. So leave Canada, in fact there are too many of you already. We are not the US, we cannot afford the social chaos of savage predatory capitalism. What is bringing this confederation down is exactly that. Wanting to cram Canada, all its constituent parts into an Merican hole. No matter the price. Goodbye Canada you hardly wanted to know us.

There are a lot more reasons to leave Canada other than the insanely high cost of living, which comes from inflation, a hidden tax, the higher crime or greater drug use. In general the quality of the people sucks, and what she may know but is not mentioning is the fact that it is only a matter of time before they institute digital mark of the beast central bank slave money in Canada. Then the government will control your money 100%, and will tell you what you can do or not do and thing or not think or poof, there goes your money. They are also paying farmers all over the place to stop growing food, because of climate change, lol, so there will be food shortages and energy shortages because that causes rises in co2, a gas that when doubled makes plants grow 50% faster. The ruling class in Canada has much worse plans for Canadians than they realize, and I wish people would be more honest and knowledgeable to talk about these things too. But yeah, economically in 10 years what it is going to be like in Canada will make what is happening now look like a stroll in the park.

They expect for someone to come to work to speak German on C1 level, I mean for a reasonable job and on the other end they're allowing all the immigrants in that don't know German at all. They want cheap labor, period. As well even if you're from some other EU country they look at you differently so I don't know how would they look at someone from outside of EU. Would avoid Germany, only as a last resort.

I was born and raised in Canada, 3rd gen on my Dad's side and 2nd gen on my Mom's side. I'm retired and would move abroad, but am impoverished now. Canada is a tragedy that is still happening. There are no good reasons why we are where we are now. This country has very little resemblance to the Canada I grew up in. It's a disgrace, and it's still getting worse. Alina, do not apologize for being able to see the reality here. Most of us do, and only the fools can't see it. Go where you are treated best, and don't look back.

This causes discrimination when looking for a tenants. If the law did its job people would allow almost anyone with a job to rent. \n\n\nInvestigate and potentially ARREST the tenant review board workers for being complicit in this crime. They or the politicians who allow this are probably ignoring cases related to friends and family. It is an easy decision, you don’t pay, you get kicked out. If you don’t pay for your groceries, you don’t get them. If you don’t pay for your car, they repossess it. I think there is something more deep going on here.

It's all fine and well that you want to leave Canada but where will you go that's any better? After all it is your choice. The problems we see happening around the world are a global problem. There are at least 2 major wars going on. Inflation is rampant in most countries in the world and we ARE heading for a global economic depression that will dwarf anything that we've seen in the 1930's. Speaking for myself my roots are here in Canada which is not the Canada I grew up in anymore. Sadly. Used to be a really great place to live until Trudeau and his band of thieves ruined it. I may as well make my last stand here. If I was going to move where would I go. The EU? Absolutely not! They're tanking. America? No effing way! The American empire is collapsing. Along with the FED note. South America? Don't think so. Most S. American countries are iffy at best. Australia? No. They're nuts. New Zealand? No. They're struggling badly and people are leaving there in droves. Africa? No way in hell. So that doesn't leave very much. Antarctica? Little on the cold side. Few amenities. ;) May as well stay where I am and take my chances. Better the devil I know than the one I don't. If you're serious about moving out of Canada be sure to do your due diligence and research about your target country. Grass always looks greener on the other side but many times isn't once you get there. One place that I AM attracted to is the Azores. Beautiful place. Friendly people. Good climate. One drawback is that I don't speak Portuguese. And I would have to be independently wealthy. After a certain amount of time out of the country I would lose my Canadian pension. It's said that where we are is where we're supposed to be. I may as well take my chances, make the best of a crappy situation and stay here. There really is no better or worse place than Canada. The majority of the countries in the world are struggling with their own problems. I'm not willing to jump from the frying pan into the fire. One of the biggest reasons I want to stay in Canada is that if it does come to a nuclear shooting war it would be very unlikely that Canada would be attacked. So here I'll stay. For better or worse. The LIberals won't be in power forever and if people have the smallest amount of sense, so few will vote for them in the next election that the Liberals will lose party status. I fervently hope that happens. ;)

I'm experiencing something similar, I wanted to travel when I was younger and even did tourism at university but never ended up having the means to do it and family dependent on me financially. That's changed in the last year but I then came to a realisation when looking at buying a home, why buy here when I can emigrate like I used to think about? Even if I didn't like it in the end it would be a working holiday, and I'd have more opportunity to travel as well. Saving some more money up then applying next year, think I'd regret not doing it.

im lucky even tho im broke, im doing okay compared to most Canadians... I ive in Burnaby a city next to Vancouver. I pay 2050 for a 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom condo, I split the cost with a longtime friend I only make 19hr but I can afford the $1050 rent and my car insurance is only $95. If I were to look for a rental today I probably wouldnt be able to... have to maybe live in my car or move out of this city. All I know is Vancouver so that would be really tough for me.... it sucks what Canada is like in the 2020s..... too much bs

I am sorry to hear this. I am in the same boat. I moved here around 37 years ago and found this country much better compared to my old country, especially when the army killed students. I decided to stay in Calgary, Canada. What makes me sad is seeing Canada going down the drain. While seeing everything getting worse, my old country becomes a prosperous, advanced and powerful country. My classmates back there were mostly high-level leaders, and some of them became elites. As the best student in the class, I could not get position even close to theirs. Only good thing is that I have been making a lot of money due to my strong technical knowledge and the capability to do difficult work. I hope I can at least maintain the same living standard when i am old, but it looks less and less certain. If I realized this at your age, I would have moved back.

Immigrants want to move here because it is very easy to get PR and then passport otherwise Immigrants would move to Australia or US. Most of the Immigrants who come here are for East Asia and Africa and they can't stand cold but they don't have options to go and settle in US and Australia. So Canada is banana Republic under liberal and they come and get the citizenship and then go and work in US and the ones who are villagers and not professional stay here because they can't move. Canada passport is not third world passport and eventhough I moved from third world country don't like to stay here and looking my options.

Classic. Just as I expected: not a SINGLE word about the fact that Germans themselves are leaving the country in droves. Why? Precisely because of the reasons mentioned at the end of the report, plus the number of people leaving for greener pastures more than doubled after 2015. Look up the BKA statistics if it hasn't dawned on you yet. Poland and Czechia are MUCH safer now than Germany. \n\nThe other thing that should have been mentioned are those tens of thousands of young Germans who don't aspire to learn a trade or get higher education. They aspire to nothing. I believe it's some 60K people yearly. That's a lot.\n\nAnd finally, despite all that massive influx of people since 2015, how come there is still a lack of workers? I'm genuinely interested in the employment rate among ppl who arrived in the 2015 wave and onwards. Even though German politicians of the currently ruling parties would never admit that the generous social benefits are a great pull factor for immigration, it's not hard to conceive, this is everday reality. \n\nIn conclusion, one could say that Germany is deterring the capable and attracting the incapable. Isn't this a sign of self-loathing and suicidal society?

If they need doctors and nurses SO BADLY, and both the education and the medical system is free, why does Germany need foreigners to come do those jobs? Aren't there millions of Germans already living there? :D\nUnless it's NOT a good life that a typical German would want, and THAT's why you're looking for immigrants?

I moved to Munich from Warsaw 2 years ago. Munich is nice, safe and clean, but also a bit boring. The wages are high, but so are the rents and groceries (not mentioning services). Soo in my field of work Im not saving more money than back home (lower wages but also lower rents). And a huuuge downside here is - I will never be able to afford to buy real estate here. Back in Poland that's still accessible (even though less and less..). So all in all I think I will be moving back in a couple of years to settle down back in Poland, on my own piece of land, in my own house. Ideally, my german employer will allow my to still work for them, remotely. But if that's not the case, then I will look elsewhere.\nOne more thing - If the german gov. would subsidize langueage lessons, I would totally take advantage of that.. and maybe stayed here longer.

Hahaha this is the Guardian left leaning newspaper doing documentary on immigration, guess what the conclusion would be - more third world immigration?!? Most of the people I found that promote immigration are not the ones that really do anything to provide more infrastructure, they are the one that you can really do with out, some academics in the social sciences, career politicians, mostly pen-pushers. Have a look in UK who works in building sites and then look at people who are getting free housing, you need not look further to understand the unfairness and why people feel bitter. Importing people who produce many children is not the answer, unless you want future voting base.

I'm not taking a side, but British Columbia needs 52,000 construction workers to meet the high demand for housing. The government plans to bring in 52% of these workers from outside Canada. For those questioning the need for more immigrants, look at the numbers: Canada would struggle without immigrants to support its economy. We just need better visa regulations to ensure only skilled workers are allowed in.

This came up in my feed, I'm in England ??????? and I've always rented as finances have never really been enough to get on the property ladder. I started off in a Private rental and thankfully I'm now in Social housing with an Assured Tenancy so it would be extremely difficult for the housing association to evict me and they have to prove to fault in court and they can't serve me a no fault notice. However rent has always been my number 1 priority bill, when I rented privately I had a Standing order set up with the bank and they drew the money out every month to pay the landlord. I set it so they drew it 3 days before the rent payment date and to account for weekends as banks don't pay out on weekends. In England ??????? rent is classed as paid when it leaves the tenants account not when a landlord receives it, so that's why I set up to leave 3 days early so it never debited late. Now I live in Social housing and it's been fantastic for me and my needs and I'm super lucky as there isn't much social housing about here anymore. I now pay rent by the method requested by the housing association which is direct debit and I pay it on the due date now as direct debits are credited to your rent account on the actual due date even if it's a weekend and then bank draws it out on the Monday. Rent is so important, I can call the housing association if anything is broken or not working and they send someone to fix it without any extra charge to me as it's all in with the rent. You have to pay your rent and if you can't afford it then look for something cheaper and give notice to your landlord.

Would you look at that... Millions of people are trying to flee communism... But USA and Canada are currently implementing it...

For the past ten years all they built is condos for investment and no apartment for rent for the people ,my people we have to look very close to the people we put in power in every level of government in Canada.if we do not start now we will be in the same boat in the future. I would like to know how many past government officials that have invested into the housing market.then we will have a better knowledge on low income housing that are not being built.
