It's high time Canada learns from Brampton and completely do away with immigration. Except a handful of Indians coming to pursue doctorate and post- doctorate on federal government fellowship all others are filth. Why to accept this filth, Canada should think it over.

I know of east Indians who were born and raised in Canada, speak french and english fluently, watch hockey, and have respectacle jobs. They live just like any other Canadians. But I feel bad for them because I sure they are immediately stereotyped, especially if they go to Brampton.

In general, the Indian diaspora people all over the world, including Brampton are industrious, hard working, law abiding and assimilated within the local population, They tend to be economically well to do, with many of them gaining high level of education and that is the reason why there are so many Indian CEO of international conglomerates, such as the World Bank, Google, Microsoft, Coca Cola et al. By the way, the white Canadians are early migrants to that country mostly from the UK and France.

Yo, I gotta come clean, I'm from India, but hear me out, I'm not being racist. It wasn't Indians who legalized drugs in your country or messed up the housing crisis. Blame the people you voted for, man.\n\nIn my opinion, it's all the government's fault.\n\nEven though I'm Indian, I gotta say, I can't stand Brampton. It's not even Canadian, man. I'm all for multiculturalism, but some newcomers don't even try to interact with other cultures or learn about them. It's like they come to an English-speaking country and don't even bother to learn the language. I wish they could learn about Canadian customs and manners before they get here.

Its every where in Canada not just Brampton, its like Canada is India because Canadians become minorities visible, I see that all of Canada are full of Indians. Good for Colleges and Universities. No youth citizens can not find a job for summer. Everywhere is full of Indians, Walmart now is 99 percent work there are Indians.

This video is an example of a Canadian government focused on taking better care of immigrants than it's own citizens. But it's true.. i can't go to a park or have picnic in a park in my neighborhood nor any park in 50km radius from where i live that not filled with Indians occupying practically all the tables, and i don't even live in Brampton. As an Indian immigrant myself, I have tremendous sympathy for Canadians. \n\nThe so called diploma mills were always a danger but online classes during covid meant they could quadruple their attendance (and thus, their bottom line). The degrees offered by these colleges are worthless and that's why anyone who's moved to Canada in the last 4-5 years is finding it difficult to get meaningful employment.\n\nOn the other side, the Canadian dream really is sold as a cheaper and safer alternative to the American Dream. This is especially rampant in the state of Punjab where people from villages sell their ancestral property to move to Canada as students only to find the stalemate that is the job sector.\n\nThis in turn puts pressure on the economy, the housing market, and the welfare programmes. I think the immigration needs to halt for a while. A LOT of students are lacking in technical and linguistic skills to propel the Canadian economy and society forward and they'll need to not be given Permanent Residencies. PR should go to highly skilled immigrants who are integrating into the Canadian society instead of turning Brampton into mini India.

I don’t think it is anti immigration in general, it is more anti Indian immigration. Look at Brampton and many other parts of Ontario and BC Almost no diversity in some cities. It doesn’t feel like Canada. Every Tim Hortons, truck drivers, many Indian international students, gas stations. Look at the job fairs, mostly Indians. What happened to diversity.

The percentage I saw is small bcos I know that the Indians are more than that in Brampton. Is just that they don't use Brampton address because of auto insurance. That percentage are those Indians without a car. The government needs to look into this. You visit the hospital, and they are the only one making babies.

It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

realize government has done **nothing** just talk and the talk is just about temporary's, East Indian's don't integrate they consume neighborhoods until those originally there depart ( see Brampton Ont Ghetto ) - building little India's with populations now in the millions, they are slowly voting in their own governments (+20% of BC provincial are born in India) others like NDP Singh also rely on chosen ridings with high Immigrant #'s nepotism voting - Mills Woods Edmonton another example and many other examples in mid government - Canada needs to protect our heritage by limiting this type of non integrating groups with this behavior from Immigrating at all not jus temporaries else we will be eventually be ousted in our own country at the ballot box becoming a colony of India.

I used to live in download Brampton for a few years and saw less Indians than in other parts of Brampton. But downtown Brampton isn't as big as Downtown Toronto. You can get out of it within 5 minute drive. Soon as you get to Queen-Kennedy , you're about to see plazas with all Indian shops. Every summer , I you walk by Garden Square, the big Tv shows Bollywood movies all day.

Being coming from India 32 years ago, I find new Indian do not know manners to say Thanks or Sorry and expert in cutting the line in the queue, DO NOT hold door for someone . They should not be allowed to travel outside Brampton unless they learn manners and how to live in civilized world. I do understand in India it is jungle rule. Time will come when start doing pee on the road will start, Govt should teach them manners before giving VISA. In India, it is sign of Freedom to do pee on the road. Brampton. More well known as Bramladesh. Far too many of these people in Canada and too late to get rid of them. Born and raised in Brampton, All the people that grew up here left or are planning to leave. \n\nNothing about Brampton is appealing, the cost of living, the people, the insane high insurance rates due to Brampton living up to the nickname Bramledesh. \n\nIm 23 and since i was 10-11 I’ve referred to Brampton as Bramledesh. \n\nWe just so happened to be ground zero of the immigration issue, everyone would make jokes about Brampton being overrun by Indians but now it’s happening everywhere and its not so funny anymore eh. \n\nHappy the issue is getting some attention, Except me to not be in Brampton in 5 years though. \n\nGodbless ??

Some of the data shared is incorrect. For example you dont need 190k salary for mortgage. Even someone with an average income of 60k can own a home. Housing crisis is in major cities like Toronto, Vancouver the same like we see super expensive housing in Mumbai for example. \n\nPregnant lady does not have to wait for 30 weeks. That is completely incorrect. \n\nThe drug problem and the images that you share is from Vancouver which you mentioned already but that is not the case you see in Ontario, Alberta or any other province. Its like how Punjab has drug problem but it doesnt mean that Gujarat is the same when it comes to drugs. \n\nThe protests currently happening around deportation is also due to the fact that so many students from India were scammed by an Indian agent who sent them to Canada on fake admission letters. Those students were not enrolled in any colleges and came to Canada on fake documents. \n\nI agree that Canada is very difficult for immigrants to come and build at this point. Canada has always been a peaceful, prosperous, progressive and a good governance oriented nation. In the recent decade, too much of woke, radical left wing ideology has penetrated into policy and public institutions that have led to Canada’s current day crisis. \n\n2. This country has always welcomed talented immigrants who are willing to integrate with the Canadian society, embrace its values, traditions and culture. However, in the last 10 years, too many refugees and reckless mass immigration has put an incredible pressure on the economy, infrastructure and social cohesion. \n\n3. The political leadership has allowed reckless mass immigration without caring to boost the economy/infrastructure to handle the volume and hence the sorry state of affairs. \n\n4. Too many immigration consultants of Indian origin engage in outright VISA frauds (yes, this is unfortunately true) leading to ppl coming in as a tourist and then seeking asylum or converting their visa into a student visa (55 year olds from Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat coming here as students).\n\n5. A significant chunk of people coming from India (esp. Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat) seeking a permanent residency in Canada are using student visas as a back door to claim eligibility for PR/citizenship. This is downright abusive and was never intended to be used like this. This has fueled a fake college diploma industry into Canada where “2-room” colleges have sprung up along the highways giving out fake diplomas and certifications for easy cash. Thus, the students, the immigration consultants and the fake diploma issuing colleges are all getting benefited from this scam. The internet is filled with such sting operations by Canadian officials exposing Indian students/immigration consultants. Do check them out. \n\n6. Unlike the past, the recent batch of immigrants in the last 3 years or so, make no effort at all to integrate into Canadian society and abuse the system, create law and order problem, drive recklessly, talk loudly in public spaces, litter everywhere, cross railway tracks like they do in India, steal liquor from stores, shamelessly collect food from food banks (as a way to save on groceries) that are meant for the elderly, disabled or those that are in utter poverty. It wasn’t like this ever before. In cities like Mississauga, Brampton and Surrey, the Khalistan movement + gangs involved in theft, drugs and human trafficking are from Punjab/Haryana and they have mushroomed here like crazy. A good 30-40% criminals in prison or on bail in these cities are of India ethnicity. \n\nIt is behaviours like these by Indians in the recent few years that has thoroughly infuriated native Canadians and now they hate the rest of us that have lived here peacefully and have been good citizens. There is a very serious, very real anti-immigrant (anti-Indian too) sentiment building up here. \n\n7. Lastly, the student protests that you have highlighted here is absolutely ridiculous! These students from India came to Canada under a student visa knowing fully well that they are supposed to go back after the completion of their studies, and now they are DEMANDING that they be issued extensions in work permits and be considered for PR. This is insane! This is because they never intended to return to India in the first place and were abusing the system as a back door entry. They are threatening to go on hunger strikes and what not. Legally, on a student visa, they are NOT allowed to participate in any sort of activism. \n\nNOBODY that comes to our country on a temporary visa (student, tourist etc.) has the right to dictate terms to us and demand that we change our immigration policies based on their preferences. No, that will not happen. \n\nCanada, like every country, has the sole right and privilege to decide who gets to become a permanent resident or a citizen based on our national priorities and strategic interests. Brampton and Surrey near Vancouver have become mini-ethnic enclaves of Indians, especially from the state of Punjab. When I moved into Brampton initially, 10 years back from India, I was shocked that the main language spoken here is Punjabi and not English ! There was nothing Canadian about this suburb anymore, it just looked like an overseas part of Punjab. That's why I moved out of Brampton within a few months. Even Indian immigrants are now appealing to the current government of Canada to stop this mass and unregulated immigration. This has already ruined Canadian culture and society !

Among the Indian immigrants in Canada Brampton is known as corruption capital, these days even Indians don’t want to live there. Same is the case with other similar enclaves all over Canadian cities.
