As a white person whose ancestors are from Europe I can tell you most racist white Canadians are spoiled brats. They dont know anything about how the governement works or how if we stopped taking in immigrants our entire economy would collapse. I say we should deport any white racist agitators back to where their ancestors are from. Make room for non idiots and people who undertand reality and want peace.

Had Canada's politicians prioritized the best interests of the people, the extensive immigration we are currently witnessing would have been avoided altogether. The majority of Canadians expressed opposition to mass immigration from non-European countries, but unfortunately, these sentiments were dismissed. Consequently, it is not surprising that the current wave of immigrants finds themselves disillusioned with politicians who are seemingly not prioritizing their interests – a situation that, in reality, should not come as a surprise.

Can confirm, we Canadians like to form small social circles and otherwise keep to ourselves. We're also much more cautious about offending people and therefore ask very non specific, open ended, questions about people.\nTip: if you want Canadian friends you need to be fairly proactive, ask them out to trivia night at a local pub. Canada is just a tool for other countries to benefit from, and I don't mean that in the context of immigration, I meant that in the context of everything that matters being owned by non Canadian entities. Politicians don't decide anything, their sponsors do. Their sponsors aren't Canadian nor do they have any Canadian interest past the exploitation of our people and resources. Okay I have seen some non-sense in the comments section and I think Indian government should stop Indian students going to Canadian universities thereby fuelling their toothless economy by billions of dollars every year. Why can’t Trudeau take a simple stand against granting visa to Indian students if they think they are a major player in this world. The truth is, Indian education is growing and it’s good enough but at this point, most students who go there don’t know why they are going. The people who get caught in such problems are desperate people who are largely lured by a foreign and an exotic life. Looking at the Canadian housing crisis and other practical domestic difficulties, India is a much better nation. Some illiterates here are talking about literacy rates when we are running major tech corporations across the world.

We can’t lump all immigrants into one single group. But there is one group that are admitted I find repulsive. This group have no intention whatsoever to become Canadians. That is to stay, work, raise family, integrate into Canadian culture and be contributing citizens of the country. This group would spend the minimum required time to become eligible for Citizenship, park their dependence here, utilizing all our social services, including health and education for children. The head of the family then returns to the home country to earn money without paying our taxes as they are deemed non-residents. At retirement age, these non-resident “Canadians” would return as retirees to claim our social services , including “free” healthcare. There are at last count approximately 250,000 “Canadians” in Hong Kong, I am sure there are a lot more in other countries. Whenever there are political or war trouble these people would scurry back, sometimes even demanding Ottawa to send airplanes for them.\nI don’t believe in “a Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian”. You are a Canadian only if you fulfill the responsibilies of a Citizen.

I am 10th generation Canadian and plan on leaving one day too just not sure when and where to go. Affordability is not good, no special things for the long term generations that their whole family grew up here, nothing with banks, nothing with education, nothing to advance careers for myself or my children, non allied people getting in. I remember when there was stricter immigration laws. I remember when one man could support a whole family. I remember when citizens would walk on one side of the street and allow others to pass on the opposite side walking from the other direction on the streets as well as in the stores, when people had more courtesy. I remember when people could joke and not get offended, when people would stand up for one another. When a community was a community. When you could be Christian and not considered offensive. When it was safe to say bless you and not be told to shove it etc... when you did not have to witness riots on the streets and a people divided and it was not believers and non believers either as the non believers would still be peaceful in the past. It is much more than that now. Now it is you are white and racist, which I am far from but have been accused and am very baffled at that statement because never in my life would I in the past ever be accused of that. I am now like, wow what am I witnessing? I just feel something much greater is going to come, but not knowing when. ONe thing I fear is there will be an all out war and it will be whites or Christians being the target one day.

Great, now we have people who don't measure up to the Canadian standards, health care and other important jobs that Canadians work so hard to be accredited for, will now be handed out to a lower standard of practice, and we will all pay in the long run, just to let immigration keep non tax paying people in our country.

I had exactly the same experiences in 2002 when I went(and came back) on PR to Canada. Getting into a proper paying job in your own profession is the most herculean task in itself. The necessity of a car due to extreme harsh weather most of the months and then initially affording only a basement with mostly indoor activities during non-summer months takes a huge toll on one’s mental well being. Most of the jobs are regulated in Canada so getting an equivalent clearance and compatibility for a job is no easy task at all otherwise you’ll end up doing only sundry manual help jobs around which too aren’t available easily. I found a lot of positivities and possibilities too in Canadian life but then be prepared to sacrifice a lot for many years and then maybe you realise you have a lot more to loose than gain! So as this blogger said Go to Canada first on say a tourist visa to friends or family, stay and spend some time and money too and then make a long term decision to come and stay forever or not. But in the meantime don’t quit your job or business back in India till you come to a final outcome?

Hi Tyler , I'm Canadian and i had to have emergency surgery to have a bad gallbladder removed, went in on a Friday evening was admited fairly quickly , had the surgery later that night ( 5 hours ,best sleep ever..lol) , recovery on the Sat and Sunday , and was out by Monday afternoon . While yes we have longer wait times for non life threating issues but when you are in danger our heath care is there . The biggest problem is that because it is free , ppl will go to the emergency room for minor things and tie up the system with trivial matters making the wait times longer.

As the child of immigrants, i think this is a perspective a lot of Canadians are facing. I could never bring myself to leave, most people my age are the same. All your friends are here, the neighbourhood you grew up in is here and you're simply not cut out to go to where your parents originally came from (half of us come from parents/grand parents who immigrated) because the climate is probably 1000x different lol (I just know I couldnt survive South Asian/Middle eastern weather).\n\nI just turned 18 though so I haven't experienced the insane rent and stuff (as it's literally impossible for me to move out). Things will be better I know it, but the question is how long will that take? Id personally give it 5 or 6 years. We need to put a cap on immigration and just completely cut off the GTA from receiving any for a set amount of time (think 2 or 3 years?). We also need to amplify our construction industry (incentives/rezone some areas for development) and the government should start subsidizing urban development projects with an agreement that prices will be lowered, or offer money to people who are purchasing condos/houses (think iZev but for urban housing and not electric vehicles). \n\nAlso stop taxing us and simply start slowing down/cutting non-essential social services; a specific government program should be created that closes all of these at once for a set amount of time (think 2 or 3 years as well) and they'll be able to redirect the money to more important causes.

@Lynn I’m Kenyan- Canadian. I’ve lived in for 24 yrs! It’s not a terrible place to work & live. Life here is all about your life style, I choose to work hard & play smart, I’ve managed to invest here in properties. Although it took me almost 10 yrs of working hard two jobs to achieve that! In short if you’re coming to ?? leave the party life style behind! Here no one has time for sherehe. Canada is extremely cold & long winters causes depression & loneliness. I tend to take couple holidays during winter ti break free from long dark days. Also remember self care is non negotiable. You have to look after your self it’s super important.

I am so happy to be able to live, in my language and in my culture, in the magnificent city of Quebec. I'm not rich, but I have a magnificent three-story residence there in a beautiful neighborhood where vegetation abounds, where crime is almost non-existent, and above all where my daughter also lives with my grandson!\nIt would never occur to me to move to Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver or any other large Canadian city. I left Canada 15 years ago, initially with the perception that Canada by and large did everything better than everywhere else. I found our quickly that this was absolutely not the case, with Canada’s shortcomings being easily apparent. As I visited “home” every year the downhill trajectory was more and more apparent, to the point where I would have no desire to go back if not to visit family. Canadian health care is mediocre, transit is inefficient, culture and quality of life are virtually non-existent. Get out while you can people, there is nothing in Canada that you can’t find better elsewhere.

What I find annoying is how dumb these guys are, coming in public to say this non-sense and still stay. He only focused on differences in work-life balance, salary comparison and racial bias but he failed to mention differences in insecurity, basic living facilities; health, electricity, rule of law, working government. Honestly, I find this type of narratives appalling. When the Canadian govt decide to revoke his citizenship then he can return to Nigeria and enjoy all he is missing!!

I think he needs to relocate back to Nigeria. It's foolish to leave a house and 3 cars to face racism. Getting a Canadian passport is not a big deal. I got my British passport 12 years ago, and I am still struggling in the UK. The west is hyped. If you have wealth in Africa, stay there. I recently resigned from a top 50 law firm where I faced extreme bullying and sabotage from a racist colleague who would misguide me and report me behind my back to my supervising partner (I'm an employment solicitor). Id have to save my work on the desktop instead of the shared documents management system because of my client work being sabotaged. If this is happening to solicitors, imagine non-lawyers. I have recently set up my own recruitment company, I vowed to never be an employee in the UK again. Working surrounded by white people is something I will never do until the day I die. The only time I will work with them is as their employer, evenso, I am very careful in my recruitment, anyone with red flags doesn't pass my screening. I am working towards building a non-toxic workplace.

I was born in Canada and studied here and it was harder to find a job in Canada than the US. Luckily, TN is far easier than H1B so I can at least work here temporarily. But if I wanted to stay for more than 3-6 years, I’d want to look at a green card. But because TN is non-immigrant, I’d have to stay in the US between applying for a green card and getting it. Luckily, there is not much of a wait for Canadians. And I guess given that H1B people need permission to leave, our ability to leave and comeback however much we want is a luxury (though you could always get a difficult officer)

Wait a sec. I totally agree about the white dominated banks but speaking untruths undermines your argument. At 4:25 half of these names were non “English” (I presume you meant British). There was Portuguese, Spanish (Latin American maybe?), German and who knows about Neldner or Ahn but unlikely British background. They are Canadian. I think you meant non-white maybe? Because yes, none are visible minorities.

Health care from your job? How did that work out for everyone during the pandemic? Ppl who lost their jobs in the states? All Canadians, even if they lost their jobs kept all their healthcare for free. Having a baby? Just pay the cost to park at the hospital, have cancer/heart attack - same, just what it cost you at the lot, $3.50. Health care is huge. Need to go to your doctor, no second thoughts bc u don’t have money. We do have a little longer waits for non serious surgeries, but all serious and emergency stuff is done asap. We all appreciate our health care so much when compared to the US.

To Polymatter, please do a video on the Canadian housing problem. Things that you MUST make people aware on are 1) housing and zoning are set by local and provincial governments, not by the federal government which only controls immigration. 2)show where the immigrants are going 3) look at what the PROVINCES are doing to help the situation (as they hold the ultimate levers for housing and development) 4) percentage of housing stock held be corporations and non residents. I think you will find its quite the complex issue.

Well, as a Canadian, I guess i'll pitch in.\nWould I move to the US? The short answer is no. But I will explain more in detail.\n\nFirst, I do not see any advantages to the US compared to Canada. Americams often tout their country as the beacon of freedom and the land of opportunities, but I don't feel that Canada is so different there. We're actually higher on the world freedom index, and its not like our economy was in shambles and everyone dirt poor... We pay more taxes, fine, but we also get more services in return, and that last part has the advantage to remove a big layer of worry. Like, for healthcare, I don't have to worry if i'm covered by insurance or not, or if the insurance carrier will drop me on some technicality. I'm a citizen. All the basic needs are covered; no questions asked (and the healthcare quality is not half bad. We just prioritize urgent cases over non-urgent; so if you go to the hospital for something non-urgent, you will wait, and more urgent cases will pass before you. Annoying when it happens, but I understand and agree with that in the end)\n\nSecond, I do see a lot of disadvantages. All the points raised in the video are valid, from the private-sector healthcare system, the gun control laws (or lack thereof), the social policies and legislation in some states; they don't agree with me.\n\nI think it comes down to some specific social and cultural ideas that are prevalent or at least present in a substantial manner in the american society. Every state has had them. Im Canadian myself, we do not have media here, ... what we do have, is liberal funded propaganda outlets. I have NOT watched or listened to any news here in over 10 years, I couldnt handle the non stop lying, it was disgusting, and so easily fact checkable.

I am a white Canadian. If you have really faced racism as a black person or non-white person, I would stand with you and support you.\n\nHowever I tend to be quite skeptical when it comes to charges of racism and white supremacy. But I'd be willing to hear specific examples of your personal experiences.\n\nIf some hostile person calls you the N word, then yes, that is racism. If you get pulled over for speeding, get fired from your job or don't get hired, there a lot more factors to consider before I would judge it to be racism. I would need to know the inner attitudes of the people you're dealing with.

Solution: elders teach their grandchildren languages that weren’t erased by genocide and environmental /spiritual cultural practices and lifestyles before they’re gone by paying first people elders and streaming it into all Canadian classrooms so the children can see a future where they’re valued and all Canadian kids can get a full education and learn accurate history. Making canoes, baskets, sacred ceremonies, food growing (that they taught to pilgrims so they’d survive here), etc. No, I’m not indigenous. I’m an immigrant like all but the first people. They’ve an amazing culture that’s been all but lost . When we don’t see ourselves represented in any media, any careers, and start our lives in extended poverty based on our race, and all that was taken still today, it’s no wonder the teen suicide rate for indigenous youth is more than double / triple all non - indigenous youth. The numbers are growing. \nI live in Care due to my physical disabilities . An international nursing student worked for me providing personal care like showers, meal prep etc and over that year, she said she wouldn’t have moved here specifically because of a few things I’ve mentioned. She told me Canada was sold to people in her country of origin as a ‘multicultural’ safe haven without extreme racism still prevalent today and within our history. \n\nI’m ashamed of Canadian government promises for over 100 years that aren’t fulfilled. All children deserve healthy drinking Water and an education. Period. Especially, the ambassadors of this amazing land that they see as themselves without separation. That’s accurate. Canada is a false economy most of the money you see there wasn’t made there it was made elsewhere.\nMost of the new luxury condos being sold to offshore people trying to get heir money out of the country they live in like the Chinese Hong Kong Iranians etc.\nYou may see nice luxury cars on the road in Toronto like Bentley and Range Rovers but 9 times out of 10 they aren’t driven by old stock white Canadians they are driven by foreigners.\nYou may see Canadians that have a nice car and home but they don’t own it the banks own it they just make payments they own nothing .\nSo on the one hand Canada is flooding itself with foreign money making home prices unaffordable and inflation to sky rocket and on the other hand flooding the country with migrants from the third world that drive down the wages for ordinary middle class Canadians and cause the crime rate to sky rocket.\nLast year Canada let in 1 million new bodies half of them settling in Toronto.\n500,000 people is the population of Winnipeg yet in no way did the size of Toronto add a area the size of Winnipeg with new infrastructure hospitals and schools in 12 months .\nThen Canadians wonder why they can’t afford a home .\nOn one hand the government says we must bring in so many people because there isn’t enough workers yet got caught in their lie by bribing a European car company with 13 billion to create 3,000 jobs .\nSo the government is so desperate to create jobs they will pay 4.5 million to create one new job and other the other hand say there are too many jobs and not enough workers ?\nCanada is going into the toilet only a matter of time before there are race wars crime is unreal and Canadians just sit back and watch and do nothing.
