When Canadians boo the American National anthem at sporting events, please understand we love the people of the United States. It is the policies of your president that we are upset about. It is one of the ways the general public can make our voice heard on the world stage. We want the same things, strong economy, safe streets but this has gone too far. This is an excuse to force Canada to become the so called 51st state. America is beautiful, but dump the Trump. ?

Trudeau's words are smoke and mirrors a bit imo. Liberals will go forward with an additional 20% carbon tax dispitie the tariffs occurring. Trump isn't the only one that is harming Canada in one way or another. Trump is forcing Canada to do better with our borders and crisis's that had not been addressed quickly enough. We (Canada) allowed these issues to get out of hand and it took another country to tell us that we needed to do better because the issues affect them as well. I'm stating facts here and now we Canadians will suffer for all of it.

I'm Canadian. I don't stand with how Trudeau is responding to this. All he is doing is causing inflation to Canadians. There is many ways to respond this is not one of them.

As a Canadian myself,,, I am more than desepointed about all of this… Because to me, The United States Of America,,, they were the perfect example of what it was to be a true hero! I effectively spent a chunk of my childhood in America with relatives. I treasured these memories, but now all the feelings of wonder and happiness when thinking of my visits to America have faded. Now I just think of how selfish it was to sabotage Canada. American private equities want to rock our system and buy up all they can and so I am happy we are watching for this. I think Donald did this to try and buy up Canadian companies. This should be made illegal. I am willing to suffer for up to pull the plug on all resources and energy going to America “suddenly” do they have no time to adapt and collectively suffer. We even produce the ingredient you need for your nuclear weapons and otherwise need to get this from Russia. Canada has the ability to help our allies get nuclear weapons to protect against “America as our #1 enemy now”. Will we share too secret info with you when Trump clearly seems to be working with Russia? Putin dream for NATO to break down and now Trump ours that I to action . Trump wants everyone to spend money on military to fuel the American military industrial complex, something each and every huge tech company you have participated. You have essentially been taken over by a global entity that doesn’t care about democracy. We are going to manufacture our own weapons to have zero dependency on America. That makes no sense to buy weapons from the country threatening to invade you. \n\nHow will America feel to be totally alone in the global stage all under the power of one unstable man with multiple personality disorders. Trump things Putin is Americas friend and meanwhile in Russian media America spoken of as enemy number one. Meanwhile, America is 30% full of people with such little education in politics that they do not even know what is considered red flags to democracy. The 20% needed to shift will see the light once the worst man made intentional recession begins and the billionaires buy up 30% of your homes and buildings. Nothing at all will be outside of billionaire and corporate control and now all your data is in AI. how did all American value fall in just one month. That fact that the Prime Minister speaks of Canada as a whole and for all Canadians speaks volumes. Where Donald always speaks against our country not being one.

As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. Both countries benefited from having a good relationship and now the great US has no one willing to challenge Mr Trump on this idiotic move, America is alienating themselves from a lot of countries and regular Americans are the ones who are going to suffer from this fall-out, the rich won't be affected but regular working class folks your stress is going to get a whole lot worse and that's unfortunate. Hopefully US wises up sooner rather than later and stop blaming immigration for their problems it's poor governing and politicians that have us looking at each other as enemies rather than humans with the same struggle and issues. They have money to send annually overseas but none to improve the life of their citizens in need, that should tell you something. People that don't look like you aren't your enemies, people who try to harm you, undermine you are your enemies. People are just searching for a better life that's all, the most basic thing humans have in common, change the red tape a make things more structured and rid your country of the bad apples and welcome those willing to work, build and serve God and the country. Trudeau has had his up and downs in Canadian politics over the years, with the ever present divide between Conservatives and Liberals here in Canada, but one thing is for sure, he's a true statesman, who speaks with wisdom from the heart, and for that is respected around the world. Trump would be smart to take notes from Trudeau, a man with considerably more skill, etiquette and experience in the field of political leadership, both hear at home, and on the world stage.

You people from XYZ are really like the EU hypocrites that all you got is words. As a Canadian, I hate Trudeau and everything his government has done to the country. I want a PM like Trump that is willing go against the entire system(deep state) and dig out all the dirt even though you're in the way of a lot of powerful people and organizations. Out of all the world leaders today, Trump is the only one with that kind of courage. Compare that to Trudeau—aside from his nice suits and polished public image, what has he actually done to improve the lives of Canadians? \nWe need a DOGE go into WHY WE ARE PAYING SO MUCH TAXES. When I was living in Vancouver, I (and many ppl) would just drive cross the border to get gas and groceries because it's just much cheaper once you're on US soil.... For years we cannot retain any talents because they would just migrate to the states because the pay is much higher with less taxes. I used to live in a bubble thinking that even though life is tough and it's harding to make a living here but at least it's more peaceful here than the States. That is not the case anymore and everything is getting worse in the past 10 years.

I have not always been a fan of Trudeau, but I have to give it to him today. You spoke with care, adressing the issues and standing up for Canada amidst this hard time. You deserve a standing ovation. Thank you Justin. I am a proud Newfoundlander, but also Proud Canadian. Hoping that hopefully Trump will choose to work with us not against us. As a Canadian, this made me feel very patriotic :) I once heard someone say that Justin’s father possesses him in times of crisis, and that’s why he gives such rousing speeches despite being criticized for being a bit passive at other times, but I’ll give Justin full credit for this one.

Dear Justin, 75 million Americans voted against Donald Trump in the recent election. We appreciate your speaking directly to us today and in recent speeches you have given. We know what a good ally you have been to the US and we also know your primary concern is to Canadian citizens. While many of us have done what we could do and we also know the current trade arrangement was negotiated with you by Donald Trump in his previous term which leaves many of us scratching our heads. For my part it deeply saddens me that this has happened and all we ask or all that I ask is that you remember those of us who did not vote for this. Slightly less than half of the country. I think it is time to use all the unused land to grow our vegetation and any thing else that gets planted to use for the Canadian. I have never felt more proud to be a Canadian, it’s a good feeling, I was almost brought to tears earlier thinking about it. And it’s interesting to note that it is overriding the fear of the consequences of Donald’s actions. Here’s where I can’t help but think of you, our fellow North Americans. The good people of the USA, I hold you in my heart. For you don’t have that boost that comes from feeling proud of your country. I can’t say I’ve ever known what that is like. It seems it would leave you gutted, and lost. Can you even describe the feeling, the experience? It has to be one of those things that you can’t know until you experience it. The pride in my country is keeping me going. My heart is crushed thinking that you do not have that. But you need to do everything you can to keep it. It’s what the Donald and his cronies are counting on. Unfortunately, he does not care about you. He wants to crush you. He does not care about America and what it stands for. He only cares about himself. If you do not have the fight that comes from being proud of your country, you guys are gonna be easy pickings. Do everything you can to find pride in your country. We need you to fight. We need you at our side. We are with you. We will always be with you.

One thing Trump has done is to bring Canadians together, uniting us even more strongly than we’ve ever been. Elbows up Canada ??
