I just love how to tell us like a REAL big brother when it comes to anything !

You can tell this is satire, because in the real world, saying Justin Beiber is Canadian gets you immediately and forcibly deported.

The real question is… why do we have racism in Canada . If you go online all you see is black people and immigrants mouthing off about how much they hate white people. White people are not racist.

You can't pronounce newfoundland, there's mountains to climb ,trails to walk, ocean and ponds to fish and swim or camp deep in the woods ...not expensive either (sea food and homes are cheap) and no big crime and less drugs ...\nOntario ... H.A ,Oshawa boys and pollution \nAlberta hot enough your kids don't want to leave the house all summer and to flat and boring \nQuebec lol, nothing good to say but without getting money given to them from Alberta's oils they be screwed ? \n\nMoney wise your ratings make sense but the real comfort of living??? You shit the bed lol ... b.c and maritimes are the best to grow up

The one thing that stops Canada being a great country is the French langauge. I have been to Vancouver many times since 1990 and the real second language of Canada is Manderin Chinese. It is only federal staff in BC who have a smattering of French.

I'm not even in Canada and I feel that as far as discrimination. The town I live in has such a lack of diversity that I can't even convince half the time that my name is even real because I've been in the US for so long and can speak english well

7:00 No, diversity is not strength, it is weakness. The non-European immigrants see Canada's open door immigration policy as a weakness. I live in Vancouver and large parts of it, including my suburb, have become Sinified (Chinese) because they have used real estate to park their funds in this city. The properties are left unoccupied or Chinese-occupied as the prices are too high for the born and raised to afford. It is a type of Chinese colonialism which the Canadian government has allowed. And there is a huge South Asian cluster in Surrey, Vancouver. Neither assimilate and why would they, because they see there is not much of a Canadian culture to assimilate into. So you end up with a mosaic of cultures that mostly remain separated from eachother and foreign ownership has become excessive.

Nice video but I don’t quite agree on what you have said about Manitoba. I can’t speak for Winnipeg because I live in a small town of 10,000 population in Manitoba about 1 hour down south of Winnipeg, full of nature and amazing friendly people. Living quality is hard to beat, plenty of jobs and lower cost of living and unbeatable real estate. We have many hiking and bike trails here. Water sports are very popular in summer. Fishing on rivers and lakes in summers and in winters are just so fun. Falls are the best season in southern Manitoba when trees everywhere turns into different vibrant colours and looks extremely beautiful. Crime and safety issue - most small towns in Manitoba safety or security is not at all a concern. I have been living here for 5 years and never heard of any major crimes except for some bike thefts in summer. Winter is cold but most of the time it’s sunny and bright. Just come and visit Manitoba and you wouldn’t regret a bit!

Anyone in Quebec would likely agree that they are the best province. However I have yet to meet anyone from outside of Quebec who would agree. Quebec seems to get the most government handouts and assistance including by means of taxing other provinces to pay for Quebec's needs. BC is going down hill as the real estate industry divides the rich and poor to a breaking point. Sask suffers from this issue too as entry level jobs are brutal, underpaid and cost of living rises insanely. Canada is screwed in a lot of ways...

I guess I'll be the one to keep it real...\nWhile geographically, Canada is the most beautiful country on the planet, full stop.\nThe people are not as friendly as the stereotype would infer...housing is criminally overpriced. Taxation is laughably bad. Seriously do the math its approaching 40-45% tax. Meaning after income taxes(23-28 cents on the dollar) then you got sales taxes, excise taxes, provincial sales taxes(another 10-15 cents on the dollar, after tax income on every purchased product). The economy was not that great before trudeau, now trudeau and his bullshit have decimated our national economy and is spending Canada into generationally deep federal deficits of 100s of billions of dollars. Don't believe the hype surrounding Toronto or Calgary or Vancouver, there are catches and trade offs for every plus.\nBtw, I'm born and raised in Toronto and live in Calgary. Canada simply as not as good as the rhetoric would try and sell you

Justolf Truditler...a disgrace to our once proud country. Maybe you could stop students who claim 18000 dollar incomes from purchasing 183 million dollars worth of real estate. One of our so called 'journalists' in this country should ask Justolf why I should have to compete with foreign millionaires and billionaires for housing?

This doesn’t apply to all. May be more in city life.\nRemember real nice and fun life is there when you move out from industrial areas.\nEven in industrial areas there are choices to socialize. However if you are coming from a different culture it’s not easy. But with effort you can mix with your new society.\nDon’t expect the same culture or surroundings though. You need to change a bit too. It’s your choice when you move to a new country.\nDo not complain.\nLot to talk about this topic. I stop here :)

So this was 9 years ago you know is the problem the real white liberals and human rights groups that doesn't let government take action well here is a prediction years from now 2030 or 2040 London will face huge muslims riots for Sharia and many innocent people of London will. Die because they are not muslims and these liberals and media houses will somehow blame Christians of England that they were the first who started riots be safe and mark my words London is on very dangerous path

i’m typing this as an american native with 1st generation mexican parents. i lived all my life in suburbs , i’m 23. i started doing online school at around age 13 so i stayed home and basically quit hanging out with anyone by age 14. i feel i grew up online, no real life friends, didn’t get to know or hangout with cousins my age due to their own plans or schedule. i still live a very lonely life but this video very greatly shows why i want to leave the US. neighbors hardly know each other and don’t want to, they instead will purchase guns and be paranoid about everyone, despite all they do is drive to work, do 10 hours, come back. repeat. \n\ni visited mexico twice, i like the culture there, and i wouldn’t mind trying to live out there for a year see how i like it. there’s plenty of good land to work, i’m willing to work hard and i’m ok with eating simple. as of now i’m just saving my money and getting it into investment and hopefully semi live off that when i move to mexico in 7-10 years

This video seems to really capture the reality of a typical America and the narration really crystalizes it. Even though it depicts a less urban setting, the same stillness can be found in cities and suburbs. It’s not what you see on Netflix or in Hollywood where there’s a story to be told and you do see a lot of human interaction from scene to scene. In real life America so many lead an isolated life indoors except for when one has to go to work or school. One explanation for this, however, is that community in America and many societies is not geographically determined. It’s structured around work, school, church, one’s immediate family if there is anyone and other kinds of civic associations. Loneliness really comes in when one does not belong to any of these “communities”. One’s geographical community (in a society like America’s) simply does not or cannot provide a sense of belonging. It provides physical and material comforts but not emotional or social sustenance, which has to come from those other types of associations. And I sense this is not just a Western world phenomenon. I think it’s happening everywhere and simply a fact of life wherever the vast majority of people living in any space have no family ties with one another. In a village or neighborhood setting in a place like India or Africa, you’ll have such liveliness on the streets and among neighbors because a lot of the people there are simply relatives of each other.

I am born in America in the suburbs north of Boston.Your words are so correct. I am now 74, and my childhood was idyllic, playing outside every day, roller skating, bike riding, climbing trees and long walks with my girlfriends. Sadly, due to the scourge of the drug trade and gun violence all communities everywhere have been adversely affected. Parents are fearful of letting their kids play outside. I have lived in Egypt for 20. years with returning to the states every summer for 3months I became to realize the problem.\nThen I returned to Florida USA for 8 years to work. The difference was huge from the friendly Egypt. Definitely, isolation is the norm now in the states, and it is impossible for someone to adjust who is from Africa and be happy.\nThank you for clearly warning of the culture clash...it is real. The only option for an African is to live in the big cities like N.Y.. Miami, Chicago, but it is so tough to raise children there due to the gangs.\nThis Ramadan, I pray hard that Allah will change things. But Quran says Allah does not change the condition of the people unless they change what is in themselves.

When I was a little girl growing up in Belize I ONLY wanted to come to America to be with my mother.. she brought me to America when I was 11 years old by the time I was 14 years old I had so much anger I ask my self, why would she bring me to America? I wanted to know why didn't she just leave me in Belize and take care of me from there. I hate it here, who would do this to their children? why would you take me from Paradise and bring me to hell... I know my mother wanted a better life for me but all I saw was loneliness anger family separated the food is not healthy the air is not healthy the education I care nothing for Meaning what I was being taught in school would not prepare me for the real world... with that being said I truly truly appreciate all the sacrifice that my mother did I love and appreciate America but I can't wait to move back home. ? Living in America is not living ? you are only surviving ?

Soooo its ALL of our job to curb foreign speculation?!?WTF. No Justin, that is YOUR job. It’s YOUR government that’s been turning a blind eye to foreign real estate “investors” because it conveniently props up the RE market. How anyone can believe a single word that comes out if this Ken-Dolls mouth is beyond me at this point.

This clown has not got a clue, nor does he care. Be born with a silver spoon just allows this guy a lack of real life. Just look at his record. He will never fix anything in Canada.

Because Canada is real estate that's why.
2022-04-22 0
But we’re still going to ramp up immigration and deficit spend a boat load of printed money right JT? What a filthy liar - our real estate market is now the largest segment of our economy! We’re screwed!

Printing money leads to higher prices. Trudeau has added 25 percent more cash to the money supply and as a result real estate has risen 25%. Your fault Trudeau, you and you alone !!!

Out of touch PM Trudeau useless always and Trudeau side step the ? Period and answer is nothing but hot air typically liberal and NDP both useless policies and housing and they suck. The fact of real truth now is not one Canadian citizen will ever be able to afford home period under Trudeau ndp budget of crap
2022-04-20 0
He blames everything else except himself, while he drives up Canada's deficit and inflation, combined with record low interest rates! This is the real reason for the high cost of homes!

I've grown up in suburbs all my life, when I was a kid I would play outside with other children, but I do not see this happening now with the children of this day. I too now spend almost all of my time indoors, it has become increasingly easy to live like this. My neighbors are the same way, nobody knows each others names in the neighborhood. I am very grateful for the immense comfort and privilege that my background has provided for me, but you come to realize that American culture is gross and inhuman, materialistic and plastic, very lonely. I long to see the other ways of life on this planet when I have the means to travel\n\nIn the last 15 years especially, the westerners (at least in North America) have all retreated to their caves, their eyes fixated on the shadows on the walls of the cave. Reality passes them by and they waste their life, the most they can hope for to ease the loneliness is a friendship over Discord (but in the end this only contributes to them spending more time indoors). \n\nNorth Americans are moving towards a never ending stream of escapism through consumerism. First it was TV, then video games, next is virtual reality. They will be enveloped in a 24/7 stream of hyperreality, forever overstimulated and oblivious to the real world.

I am Dominican and American citizen. This is SO REAL! We lose so much to win income and things. But LONELINESS is a great price to pay. Here you will lose your identity, your roots, your life , to become maybe more financially stable. I love America, with all my heart, but I realize it is a totally different world. It is designed to work, work, work, and forget about family, friends, relationships. We will get more toys, more things, and more order and organization, less open corruption, but will also have to settle for less life in community, settle for materialism and individualism. Settle for a lifeless life. Loneliness is a very high price for a better car, or bigger house or opportunities. And still...I.love America. My advise, unless you have your whole (or many) family here..\nStay in your country!

Is the drugs and crime thing THAT bad in USA? I mean I watch them American tv shows and the crimes shown like, killing and beating, rapes, murders, assassinations, child abuse, drug dealing cartel etc. But I thought they're tv shows so are exaggerated. But is the violence real?

This is living culture of background in western life style.\nNo one can change it !so sad so bad from peoples views of immigration! \nMay be they don’t feel lonely, they don’t feel strange at all. \nThis is called the value of western living style ever since young kids graduated from high school whom being told : \nJust be independent ( survival), being ur self , being self conscious, having American dreams yourself, being self motivated, being focus on your self ,,,,,\nSo no one cares others , real help each other ,shame to ask money from parents whatever situations of life! Everything has to separate instead cooperate it,\n……. \nEveryone knows it’s bad , but everyone thinks it’s right!\nHahaha \nIf u moved to USA over 35 or 40 years old from Asia, Africa, even center of America,or south ,\nYou always have options to avoid being alone just ur self or couple when old , nursing home, stuff like that. Plus dollars are so cool in most of countries.\nYou can’t change the culture whatever it’s sad ,hurt ,but it’s right in USA.\nIt’s a continental to have American dreams only —- making dollars

I lived in the country and live in NYC and I think suburbs are the most alienating. I lived there for a year and there is nothing to do, and your yard isn’t big enough to be real nature or provide privacy, but the population isn’t high enough to get foot traffic or anything interesting to look at
