Hi Anna, do you know any agencies that specialize in chemical engineering or oil and gas? I'm moving to Calgary as a permanent resident and it'll be great to have a job lined up beforehand. I have a masters degree in chemical engineering from an American university but I've found it difficult to get any interviews and most postings mention PEng as a requirement or expect me to be registered in Alberta. Any help is highly appreciated ?

When they asked what all those Canadian Celbrities had in common, I would've said they weren't Justin Bieber.

Like I don’t understand how long are we looking at before this country fails! The cost of living and housing is mind-boggling!!! I moved here. It’s been three years. It’s been all struggles and trying to catch up and then prices rise again…i’m literally tied to work just like majority of the immigrants and majority of the middle class Canada…it’s the best country to live in if you’ve never ending amount of money…like can you imagine that you get one life and majority of it’s spent on work…wouldn’t it be amazing to have a normal job and get paid good and have reasonable time off and go to bed without worrying about finances? In my opinion, a country where teachers, nurses, and people running this country can’t find a house or live happily, that country is bound to fail…i’m planning to move to USA…i can’t do this anymore

Manitoban here. I've lived here all my 70 years and have never regretted it. I've never been out of work. If you've never travelled Manitoba, then you've never seen the most beautiful scenery of most provinces. Your comments on Canada's provinces is unappreciated and disgusting. Canada is beautiful no matter which province you live in, so take your childish opinion and shove it.

I do love Canada , it was my first love moving from poor, war ravaged country in Vietnam. But it is no longer the country that I used to know. I've lived mostly in Vancouver and Toronto and I can tell you,If you got a family and you're not making 10-15k/month, feesl like you're just scraping by. Tdot was good when I moved there in 1984,TTC rides and cup of coffee used to be just a quarter and houses were just about 100k on average. Now its almost impossible to live near the core of the city to buy a house unless ure making high six figure or move out to smaller cities like Brantford or Windsor to buy one. Not only that but nothing is letting up here, food , insurance, gas ,taxes we gettin hosed to death here. After 40 years here, think Ive seen enough,Im cashing out my house in Vancouver, shipping out to Eastern Europe to retire.

Lucky me, no one wants me. My country hunts, robs, and tries to kill me constantly. I've been degraded and dehumanized in ways you can only imagine. I have no worth, so I can't go anywhere. I can't move up because I'm disabled and marked. My future is one of darkness as I won't be able to avoid the ground units or satellites forever. I'll get taken out eventually. No one will give me asylum. What can I give them in return? I hate the fascist USA. It hates me, too.

We are all intelligent human beings? Seriously? That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. Humans are far from equal. We would implode if we all wanted to be doctors. Wow! You’re part of the problem you’re trying to solve. Again, WOW!

Not even from Canada, but glad I found this video, very informative. I've always heard positive things about Canada coming from the United States, rarely anything negative. I guess there's always two sides to every story. P.S. Really like the channel and the info that you provide, I follow the both of you on instagram as well.

Omg you guys are performing at the Cedar in Minneapolis! I've only ever gone to the Cedar to see High Kings shows, maybe I'll have to keep up the tradition of going there to see high quality Irish entertainment ♥️?

I moved to Canada about 17 years ago and yes it is an absolute pain to jump through all the hoops they want you to go through. I was only here a few days and I came from Ireland as a brick and stone mason they recruited me from Ireland and wanted me to come out. Within three days on the job I learned I would be getting less wages than the other bricklayers. I packed up my tools and walked off the job I notified the employer and the union by emails and told him I’d be flying back home in a few days. Well the union and the employers came running straight away to get me to stay. Trying to explain that after a couple of months I’d be on the same money as the rest of the guys. This is where I explain to them that taking home C$1100 was already a pay cut a massive pay cut as are used to take home 2500 to 2200 Euros living in Ireland. I moved to Canada for a change of lifestyle but that doesn’t mean I was going to be taken advantage of. And that’s when they said they would pay me the same as everybody else. Sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself and be willing to follow through. They even reimbursed me for the airline ticket I bought to go back. Some skill sets they really need in this country in addition Canadians population growth is absolutely dependent upon immigration as the family sizes and birth rates are critically to lol to sustained a country. As I’ve said I’ve been living here 17 years now and I am a Canadian citizen I guess that makes me an Irish Canadian now.

Heeeyyyyy Arms. So news from England, we've entered a state of emergency with Omicron and we're seeing some deaths. I'm Covid negative but for reasons that I can't go into, I haven't had my 3rd vaccination (until January). Would now be a good time to tell you I'm a Stage 3 Kidney Failure patient, meaning I plan on being in Vicar Street on Wednesday but if I catch this 'plague' I may not be strong enough to survive it. Therefore please can I thank you all (especially Flanagan) for making my final days joyful and if you don't see my presence anymore online then, you will know why. Love you guys to the moon and back! ?

They could've used Ryan Reynolds, Rick Moranis, Dan Aykroyd, or Dave Thomas in place of Celine Dion. Heck I think even Alanis Morissette would've been a more acceptable name drop than Celine

I agree with all the other comments by my fellow Canadians - spot on gentlemen! Well done!! Got my Toronto show tickets ordered last night and I see the venue is about 3/4 full already - 2 days after announcing - that's gotta tell you something about your reach, and your impact. I've been watching your Thursday videos for years, but like many others have said, you three were a ray of light in the darkness of the past 20 or so months. Keep on keeping on. Be well, be safe, be happy. gord.

Got four tickets to the Austin show for Christmas from my husband. My family likes to indulge their crazy wife/mother who lived in Dublin for 3.5 years and has a graduate degree from DCU. I’ve made my household watch, even when I the only one who can truly appreciate your spoofing humour!

I'd wished you come to Montreal in Quebec! That said, I don't leave my lovely province very often but I might make a short trip in Ontario you see you guys in Ottawa. I've been hoping to see you perform on stage for a very long time!

Great work lads! Couple things right quick: it's pronounced poo-TEEN, also NEW-f'n-land. ? Otherwise good job with the phonology - based on the people I've known from thereabouts, Arms sounds to me like he might be a middle-aged techie from rural Ontario, which makes perfect sense here?

I don’t think I’ve ever grabbed my credit card and jumped up from the bed so fast in my life. I was praying for this, but didn’t think it would happen amidst Covid. Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Y'all need to come to Atlanta for your next US tour! No need to be afraid of us Southerners!\n\nP.S. I discovered your channel just in time for staying up hours upon end feeding a newborn -- some of the funniest stuff I've seen in a very long time. And I'm pretty sure it's not just the sleep deprivation saying that.

Genuinely couldn't recommend their Patreon more highly. Especially to those who aren't able to go to live shows! They posted a wonderful video blog of their Vicar St gig on there yesterday and it really feels like you're there with them. It was lovely and funny and it makes the wait to see them one day a whole lot easier. Plus there's SO much extra on there, it's incredible!\nThanks lads for being so generous, you give us so much more than you have to. I've been subscribed to other Patreons before...Nobody even comes close to the amount you give and I mean that! Tank ooo!

I'm still so excited you're coming to Oregon! I've been trying to make plans ever since I found out. I know it's not for awhile, but I can't wait! ?? Hilarious sketch lads! ?

Canadian born and raised I found this video very interesting as a lot of Canadians blame the immigration for lack of jobs and feel they get more help from Government then local Canadians do.The anger towards them is a problem people don’t seem to want to talk about and would rather pretend it doesn’t exist but I hear it all the time and see it at work.I think this information should be more widely spread so people have a clear picture of both sides and hopefully the resentment will stop because all I’ve seen is anger resentment and a scary growing hatered

hey im from BC and it's a fair choice to put bc at fourth, but alberta is kinda too cold but at the same time in ways is better than BC I completely agree with Ontario being up there on second cuz its really great. i've never been to quebec and I'm not that interested but maybe I will visit it now to see the difference.

I’m sorry, I live in Quebec and I think that all Canada is so diverse that stats aren’t what represents the best province. I’ve travelled around Canada and every parts of it are incredible! There only one top one and it’s Canada values! I’m sorry for imposing my point of view on that.

I've lived in Ontario my while life, and I would much rather live in Alberta or the east coast.\nI hate the city, and the Government is slowly killing the agriculture here

I've lived in all of the western provinces but moved to Nova Scotia. Our household income far surpasses the average and we live in a sub 50k house and have a cabin on 10 acres. Nothing can compare in my opinion.

Thank you for this info, I am a teen who wants to move to Canada with my partner when we graduate, so I've been doing a lot of research for places to live and job opportunities, and just many things that I need to know. Thank you!

Not that it matters I'd not care what Provence I'd live in or territories! We as Canadians live in the best country in the world !!! When you put labels on our countries provinces or territories do shut up ! I've lived in most if not all of them . They ALL have something to offer ! If I might add if you from the USA or England or where ever I bet you can find that they think the same as we do . THAT THEY ALSO LIVE IN THE GREATEST COUNTRY THERE OWN ! Stupid opinions! Everyone has got one .

I'm 42 and my ultimate financial goal would be $4million in savings and a monthly passive income of $15,000, I've got about $230k to put in the market and l'd love to know how I could make this goal happen by the time I turn 50.

Quebec government violates it's residents' civil liberties every day. Makes me not even want to visit, regardless of how beautiful it may be. Not to mention, they've never wanted to be a part of our great country anyway.

I've only visited Quebec, nova Scotia, pei, and new Brunswick. I live in ontario
