This makes me angry. Our President does not keep us safe. \nCongress needs to take action if the president doesn't. What's wrong with our country, enough of this talking, interviewing those in charge, Take action the USA is being invaded!

NATO is literally useless. These people are fleeing a\ndictatorship in Venezuela which is a country RICH in natural resources primarily oil and the govt is literally starving people. NATO needs to step in and hold the Venezuelan govt to task so that people don’t need to flee their homelands for better opportunities.

I have a fix to all this. Make every American that came from a legit system, and grand parents, and parents who came legally back 4 generations count only and offspring.. No Tno anchor babies allowed from anyone who came illegally past 4 generations, record department can validate all this. All natural born and maybe been legally also count. Ok, everyone mentioned get mandated to wear a tamper proof wristband linked to ownership and picked up from the DMV and the bands are electronically active for six months, if cut it sends a signal RFID signal for warranted arrest. Everyone with a band can go to work, shop, travel and it's only temporary for 6 months then gets legally removed. All illegals can register on the way out and need grabbed to cube back through the front door if they have no violent or theft charges or rape/assault felonies. Temp residents/work Visas get a band too. Bring in NATO and our military to start operation clean sweep, we offer bus rides back and ditched air flights back to what ever country you can't from, the sweep comes from N.S.E.W. circling in..if caught after having a chance to leave and didn't you will have a index finger on left hand cut off as a marker for being a invader to our homeland along with a RFID microchip embedded into the wrist bone, the chip will signal in the future if you even get with in 500 miles to border and all airports coming into America. Solar drones charge and patrol the border in drives 24/7. All who participated can get in line to come back as long as clean record mentioned prior. Finish the wall using 9 billion dollars we save each year by removing All illegal from our prisons and send them back chipped and marked by missing finger...THIS IS THE ONLY ONLY ONLY WAY TO EVER CLEAN AMERICA UP!!!!! Wow this is my country yo.. it’s so sad to see this happen when I see homeless folks our brothers and sisters everyday out here on the street.. So now all our taxpayer money will be going to people who came illegally? I can't believe we're taking in Asylum seekers from the US are you kidding me? This Country is a mess it's lowest but our Government just keeps sticking us with paying for anyone wanting into Canada. We shouldn't have any homeless vets & why does Canada think we can afford more people? Our small house we worked for & had 2 children in won't be able to keep it because the cost of living & taxes keep going up. Hours being cut & not enough money to put away. Building supplies doubled after the pandemic. I can't find the medical help I need. God help us as our Government isn't going too. No more people we should start a movement like the truckers that took over our City last year.

It's about time we don't have the money, we have a health care shortage. We can't keep letting able body Citizens whether born here or not live off Welfare going back generations. No one's screening the people who have already crossed over then once they get Citizenship they can bring all there relatives here is ridiculous enough is enough. We went through SARS then COVID-19 is here to stay.Try helping the people we already have you're burdening an already over burdened system. If there from Syria sure help them reach out to families that may be able to take 1,2 or maybe more into there homes to help.Quebec & other Cities or Towns in Canada can help too. The rich get richer & then there's the working poor & those who live off the system. Look what Free Trade did to this Country! People are working more for less & the cost of living is through the roof along with food prices.

We need more and better resources for immigration in Canada. The immigration offices are often overwelmed and ends up delaying immigration by way too long. Canada needs change in a better direction, conservatives and their backwards thinking are gonna ruin this country.

Where do people get off demanding to be let into a country? Every single country in the world has immigration rules. They are their for a reason. People need background checks, a skill set that is needed, and a way to support themselves once here. We have tried bringing relatives legally just on a tourist visa and they were denied. Even after we paid the application fee, showed bank accounts, etc. so anyone who just thinks they have the right to come here better think again. That’s just the way it is until reform. Opening the floodgates to anyone is not reform, it’s chaos. Would you let just anyone walk into your house uninvited?

Shame on those in here whining about what they don't get that refugees get. We have access to all of that and more. Did you know that the basic needs that are provided to refugees or immigrants must be paid back to the government? They get a loan, we don't just give people money because they want to live here. Once they get their SSN and are deemed fit(usually means they speak and write English) for work they are required to find work. Many come from war torn countries or unable to provide food for their children or a safe place to live. Are you that unfeeling you don't want to help them? Canada used to be compassionate and helped others. It wasn't so long ago that our relatives immigrated here for a better life.

When did half the world become so entitled that they think they can go wherever they want illegally?? IT IS ILLEGAL, they should be put in detention centres or jail with no freedom like the criminals they are! Stop making it ok, stop giving them the free crap they come here expecting! Stop all immigration for the next 5 years. Send them all Back.\n First we need to fix this country, people living on the streets, people living in poverty, lack of affordable housing and food. Then overhaul our social safety net programs from coast to coast to coast and get all the free loaders off it and back to work. Then we need to take a look at all the Indigenous communities living in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do, except wonder if there going to go hunting fishing or collect fire wood for the day living off government checks! Then once all that crap is fixed let's see how many legal immigrants and only legal immigrants we need to let into this country.

Aren’t the Venezuelans fleeing a war stricken country and cannot return to there homes either? Developed countries around the world are suffering from low birth rates and the non-specialized job labor force is also suffering so we do need immigrants.\nBut this is not the right way to do so.

I’m curious as to why folks feel the need to clarify the difference between Mexican and Venezuelan or some other country of origin. At no point did this video say Mexicans did this or that. Only that people were attempting to cross at the Mexico - US border.

My family and I came to the United States back in the 70’s because our country became a communist country . We were granted asylum and a long expensive journey began for my family to become US citizens and proud of it !! It is mind boggling to say the least to see these people at the border like this ?? you just can’t go and barge into another country without the proper documentation/ permissions to enter . And United States we have a huge immigration problem that needs to be dealt with. We take in almost fifty percent of the world's immigrants it's unsustainable. Yeah exactly Venezuelans are starving because of all the sanctions the US put on its country. Leave them alone and they wont feel the need to cross to the US for a “better life”.

What needs to happen is those Latin American Countries need to get their shit together and make it safe for their own citizens.
