All the knuckle draggers that voted for this bozo trump, I hope you enjoy the higher prices that will definitely come with these idiotic tariffs..Tariffs are a tax on Americans..

Alcoa Aluminum will probably become history as the tariffs begin.

He's probably a businessman, lol. Imagine Canada, China, Mexico imposing tariffs on US goods. What do you think will happen to US economy? Kaboom!

How funny she helped biden control the border, that's why we have so many coming in. STAY IN MEXICO. The numbers are down because they are all here now! Do you guys even know aht a tariff is?
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
Not only did Mexico not pay for the wall but they’ll Tariff Trump to ?. What a Joke of a President.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
People need to understand the tariff talk is a cudgel looking for more support on the border: illegal immigration, drugs. Nobody wants tariffs, including trump. Everyones talking like its all a foregone conclusion. CONTEXT......
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
26%? Only 10% even know what tariffs are
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
The tariffs are used as negotiations.

Trump os dumb his professor said he was the dumbest student he ever had. Donny when tariffs are added on imports the importing county pays them. Wake up. You are showing you are not a business man. If property taxes go up you have to pass it on to the golfers so you raise what it costs to play a round add it on to the cart fee. You wont take the loss you dumb dumb

Tariff this Tariff That! WOW prices are going to increase? Who would’ve thought ??
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
10% 20 or even 50% tariff on foreign clothing and shoes will not return clothing mills to America, but it will raise prices for all Americans.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
Lets go MEXICO! If the fascists impose tariffs you do the same!
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
Mexico can place tariffs, nobody will care
| 2024-11-27 | 8 |
As a Canadian I applaud the Mexican President. If the US wants tariffs. Canada and Mexico can impose tariffs on the US too. ??
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
Ignoring retaliatory tariffs (China, Mexico, and Canada could slap on tariffs on goods they import from the United States) that would drive down demand for goods exported from the United States, Trumps tariffs would raise prices a lot for consumers, even if the tariffs would help some domestic producers.

Finally, an adult in the room. We should address the problem, not its symptoms.\n\nI worry about tariff's for U.S. Territories. Most of the U.S. Territories ship goods in from the mainland USA. How will tariff's bring down inflation and prices on day-to-day products we use/eat?
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
I love the meltdowns, lol. Mexico doesn't want these tariffs to happen. There is gonna be a deal on day one
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
It's about National Security. She will have to surge troops to the border and accept with Remain in Mexico policy. Also - no more building plants for Chinese cars to avoid tariffs.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
What a bunch of bull shit...tariffs and a lot of them. Shut down your stinken boarder Mexico. Pull your heads out so you can see what is happening. We don't want your drugs We don't want your illegal immigrants from all over the freaking world. Shut your borders and deal with your cartel drug lords. Bring on the tariffs We don't care about Mexican products. Whatever we can't get America will make.

The problem of those tariffs also imposed on the Chinese car market is for the benefit of his great friend Elon Musk since then he would not have competition and not to help the citizen
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
The whole reason for this threat of tariff is that Mexico does nearly nothing to protect the border. I’d suggest taxing any cash outflows wired to Mexico or any other countries not interested in solving this problem.

This video says 10% tariff on Chinese goods but on news stations on TV last night he says 60%... what is it?
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
MEXICO AND CANADA ARE SAYING 100% TARIFF ON ALL GOODS MADE IN USA UNTIL ALL YOUR GUNS STOP COMING INTO OUR COUNTRY
| 2024-11-27 | 5 |
What foolish reasoning to believe that tariffs on imports will correct the drug addiction of a society overwhelmed by income inequality, inflation, unemployment, debt and poor education.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
Seems like all countries will do tariffs on American goods
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
If US want tariff, mexico is no match to US. Mexico would tank right up when it play against US. Look at china now when US pull out. Trump only need mexico to stop the illegal and do some show and you will be safe from Tariff. Trying to act tough is not going to do wonder to mexico.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
We need to make sure that the tariff is printed on our receipts. I think this would help people understand it better.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
Most of this is just wash-and-repeat old news ... Trump needs hate against migrants as red meat for the base and to draw attention to his bottomless ego pit. Tariffs act as a regressive national sales tax ... that raise, not lower, prices .... DUH! Apparently this isn't new to the low-information Trump voter.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
Put the tariffs...he said it in the campaign....please put them...let the chips fall where they may!
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
Trump knows more about tariffs than anyone. He says that it’s his favorite word.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
China is using Mexico to circumvent their US tariffs by getting Made in Mexico put on their cheaply made products. 25% is s too low!
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
Where was this kind of reporting on tariffs 2 months ago? If we'd have gotten this kind of reporting on his plans then we wouldn't have to be reporting on it now.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
I hope Trump will be able to do impose Tariffs and other c__p. Maybe some GOP voter will change their ideas.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
The world is going to stand up to the orange convicted felon and rapist. The MAGA Trumpers think China will pay for the tariffs like Mexico paid for the border wall.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
LOL I don’t think even the most left-wing Democrat is scared of anything the president of Mexico threatens with. ??\n\nIf really cheap, illegal, migrant labor is stopped, then the tariffs put on Mexican produce that’s imported will allow farmers to compete with those prices here in the United States. And they will be able to pay a higher wage and lots of legal migrant workers will go and pick produce.

the problem is that leaders prefer to deal with larger business owners\nsince that is a lot easier to talk to a single individual person\n\nso what that means is big business can deal with those changes\nhowever all of the other small medium sme landscape suffers a lot more\n\nfor a strong and healthy economy you need a broad variety of business\nacross diverse sectors types but also different sizes for different purpose\n\nsmaller businesses creates new wealth generation new opportunities\nit is the mechanism of entrepreneurship and narrow the wealth gap rich vs poor\n\nsmaller business also is the place where innovation occurs new products\nalso entire new markets and opportunities to improve the society local cities\n\nbig business doesnt like threats coming up from smaller companies\nso there is an inherent tensions here that is self destructive to usa economy\n\nneed protect sme business against fallout from tariffs below certain size\nthat then is complex across different sectors materials products to waive that\n\nthe implications was to focus only on the top n number of sectors by revenue\nfor example raw materials metals, building materials affects both large + small\n\nso that is why the dynamic tariffs idea as a tool for negotiating other nations\nwhich is also hideously complex, so its all a lot of unnecessary beuraucracy added\n\nwhich is then against the drive to simplify government those initiatives conflicts\ndont make all your sme business rising stars pay for that --> future big business\n\nthey will remember your policies and become another anti-government all again\nthat is bad ways

I mean…adding Canada, as well? Seriously…that alone indicates the tariff terror is a power play, if not simply, a projection of victim mentality that seems to empower many to make rash, unproductive decisions - under the guise of ‘protection’ of the people or fostering of fear simply, to imply/offer a ‘fix’ toward creation of a false sense of security being peddled possible, for reasons or purposes - which may or may not be agreed to - if we, the people, as a whole, had any idea of…transparency is not only ‘a thing’, it’s a necessity.

I see the mainstream media is doing their homework on trumps tariffs even though they failed to do any fact checking on kamala border policies

It seems to me better than punitive percentage tariffs is that each foreign country can buy American products first from tracked like product categories. The United States Counts how many units of that type of United States made product was bought first by a foreign country. Then United States consumers, or companies are allowed to buy the same matching unit count of foreign products from like categories. In this way no foreign company selling into the United States can fluid the United States Market with cheap foreign government subsidized goods. In this tracked unit count system of fair trade one American made unit sale for one foreign made like unit sale can take place.

The tariffs will hurt America but they will destroy Mexico

Tax on foreign countries to ensure domestic economy! Please stop lying! Mexico ? Cartel! Tariffs look it up you dummies! Boycott CNN! The tax goes to the government! We the people!

We all lost the election, but some of us don't realize it yet.\nThey will when food prices skyrocket due to trump’s tariffs and the lack of low-wage workers, who are the people who pick our fruit and veggies and work in the meat processing plants. FAFO.
| 2024-11-27 | 0 |
The solution is not more tariffs. Mexico and Canada should simply ban all trade with the USA and develop a system of free trade with Europe and China.

Amazing how all you idiots who predicted WWIII under Trump - now closer than ever under the war mongers of the left and Biden - are polishing off your crystal balls forecasting economic doom due to tariffs. The same fools that voted for Mr Magoo. No wonder you idiots lost 5 November. In the coming years you'll be proven wrong time and time again - you always are.

| 2024-11-26 | 0 |
Let Trump do what he wants. ? I wonder if his voters will call him out if he didn’t fulfil his tariff promise.
| 2024-11-26 | 0 |
People have short memories. \nHe used the same exact threat he’s using now to bring Mexico and Canada to the negotiating table during his first term. Which is what lead to nafta being renegotiated into something more beneficial to the US. \n\nAsk yourselves. Why didn’t Biden reverse Trump era tariffs?

Tel Trump to go pound sand. We don't pay no steenkeeng tariffs!!!
