Hate to pop your balloons, but Canadians are not as nice as you think. I've met plenty of nasty ones through the years and it is definitely not the Canada I remember from childhood (I'm in my 60s). You find plenty of Karens, feminazis and out and out unwelcome busybodies that are always sticking their nose in your business. Canucks are definitely not angels.

With better living standards, people prefer to value personal space more. In a developing country, people needs eachother because they cannot afford to buy everything that they need or want. For example, a poor family would keep their kids with their neighbours or relatives, instead of leaving them at a creche or hiring a babysitter. Besides, developing countries have less occupational and recreational opportunities too. When Africa would become developed, maybe that too will become like Canada.

I agree with most of your video. I grew up in Quebec and its the best province in Canada. I think British Colombia deserve a better spot like number two. I lived two months there and Vancouver Island is an incredible place for vacation.

I have a doubt, my wife is doing her masters from nova Scotia but she has to study online for her first semester from India, now because of this she will not be able to fulfill the condition of 16 months in Canadabefore graduation. Though ircc has announced that any study done online from outside canada will be considered in Canada but not sure if that time will be considered in Atlantic province. Want to become a trades person? 5 years with poor pay and schooling. Want to build a house? Good luck. 10 years for zoning. The list goes on and on. Born and raised here, and someone said it the best in the comments that Canada is basically a tax haven for real estate. It's a money laundering paradise. Stay as far away as you can from this country, it is a welfare deathtrap.

We just drove across Canada in July, and agree with your assessment of Quebec, and most of the other provinces. Manitoba and Ontario were in a shockingly run down state, and Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Quebec were our top three. BC is beautiful, but you cannot ignore all the corruption and the hyper-inflated RE market making a mess of everything. We're from BC, and love the place, but it is too difficult to survive there. PEI is in our top three worst provinces, as it's reputation is completely unfounded.
