That is why I returned to my home country 20 years ago after obtaining the Canadian citizen.The main advantages in canada for sure are the natural environment and spacious living space. Now I have the wealth by low tax in my country and process another property to rent as income.Besides due to the so many cons factor in canada I 99% do not consider to return back.Totally agree to your opinions regarding this topic. Well, I live in Sweden and I bet we pay more income tax than you do in Canada, some of the taxes goes to health care, unemployment benefits, and your retirement benefits, Every welfare state is expensive, You may get more pay in USA but if you ever get hospitalised, you're in for a rude awakening, you should check, there are many immigrants here in Sweden as well and the weather is pretty much the same as in Canada. We get at least 4 weeks vacation here in Sweden. I'm from ?? and it's natural that after working many years abroad, many choose to go back to their country of origin at some stage, me I go back home to Jamaica ?? as much as I can but still prefer to live in Sweden, I never mind the winter months, I can always travel to a warmer country and continue to enjoy life. The bottom line is that it's your choice what you want to do with your life.

It's not just the taxes. Because now that canada has so much population due to immigration we have to pay more in the cost of living to accommodate for them. Car insurance etc. It's not really the taxes at all, even though it is quite high. Rent is high because there is more people looking for rent due to immigrants seeking a place to live. Same for house prices. Taxes are not so bad, it really is the immigration policies.

I couldn't agree with you more. Canada has become another one of those mindless Totalitarian states like American China, Russia, etc., etc. I spent 10 years in China working as a teacher. I went there because I was fed up in my country and when I returned it was worse than when I left. As I am now 68, if I can afford to leave again I will and I'll never return again. I told the Chinese who knew me I was returning because I missed the land, but I never really missed the people. Now that I'm back, since Jan. 2022, I want to leave again and I will and Never return. Health care in this country is in the Sh*t-house, it's impossible to get a family Dr. In part I returned for medical reasons, but now would rather die than have to deal the the Canadian medical bureaucracy - REALLY !!! Racism in Canada is different from USA. In the USA its more racism as a generic term to describe discrimination against ethnical state while in Canada its more about cultural discrimination. From my own experience its still better to be black then arab or indian for a simple raison is that black people like europeans share many cultural similarities like drinking alcohol, eating pork and sometimes smoking weed. So to be considered a good citizen you need to have these features regardless or skin color. Another thing is that Canada is a multiracial friendly country but not multiculural. That's my plan man. I live in India. Move to Canada, Get master's degree, become a citizen in 5-8 years then find a job and move to either France, Germany or even Barcelona.
