USA is a safe country we shouldn't be accepting people coming to Canada illegally.

Nice job guys(migrants). When we apply for visa in consulate they check Even you underwear to make sure that you will be back your coubtry. Singlie mistake and your application rejected. But These people just enter country whenever they want. USA and other commonwealth countries deserve this.

People overseas from countries like Nigeria fly directly to the US then they travel straight to the US/Canada border and WALLAH they enter Canada without any background check, and WALLAH again they get Canadian citizenship? I have any friends who are from other countries were trying to get their family members here legally through the legal process and it takes them literally 10 to 20 years and to allow people to just walk across the border and hand them work permits, hotel rooms and checks to support them is a disgrace.. these people for the most part do not speak, read or write English, whereas my friends families, for the most part do speak ,reading write English and a good part of them have college degrees who could contribute quite a bit of this country, but are not allowed to come here immediately.. these people should be allowed to come here immediately as it being sponsored have a place to stay and contribute…

Canada is pretty good with French immigration, the Middle East immigration and with people that are going to give something in exchange in their view, then all those people take the best and more they could and go back to their Countries. That kind of Immigration are using Canada to get the best and saying goodbye. But it is Canada's fault, too. Personally, I fed up of the system I am not white and no native French even I talk the both languages never turned to take me serious. So for me was better just went back to my country and never look back.

In North America, almost everyone was an immigrant at one time. Canada is the second biggest country in the world with a small population. we have huge amounts of resources in everything, If we had America's population, we would be the richest country in the world. As long as people come to work and not sit on welfare, the more the better.

It's like the police think that telling them that they're going to get arrested is going to stop them. Some of these people are coming from war-torn countries and have absolutely nothing left. So I would imagine being arrested and being put into a warm cozy cell until stuff gets figured out is a sacrifice they are willing to deal with.

Canada has been the good neighbor to the US for since the border was erected, rather than penalizing the people crossing from countries that are dictated to, perhaps they could help our drug addicts, our over worked parents, help our over worked nurses and doctors, if we can't fix other countries best we can do is help who wants to leave them for improved lifestyle choices.

I don’t get why there is so many “refugees” now. More countries in the world are democracies. There are a lot fewer people living in poverty. The UN has greatly reduced poverty. A lot less people living on a dollar a day. Not like the 80’s with wars going on everywhere. Do these people really have any reason for flooding the borders.

This is terrible. Why can’t our government simply hire more people to process migrant applications? And why can’t the US do a better job of pushing back on dictators that ruin their own countries, like Venezuela? Or provide processing stations in other states and encourage migrants to travel their, or provide transport? I doubt that most people want to leave their own country if it was safe for them and their children. Surely better minds than Mine could find humane solutions. Maybe fast tracks no migrants with established relatives already in the US? Or migrants with skills (not necessarily money) but skills?

You young lady are ill-informed.Telecom in Canada is expensive due to extent of territory and the low population.(as the population expands,prices go down) 2 major banks just went bankrupt in the USA and people lost their life savings,you will not see this in Canada as the government not only garantees a part of your savings,but closely monitors the banks.As for homelessness it is not a Canadian thing as you say, it is worldwide.(There is not ONE SINGLE COUNTRY in the WORLD that has not that problem to a certain extent.)As for doctors while it is true that there is a shortage,any true emergency or serious illness wil be treated swiftly and you will not go into debt for it.Maybe people should learn to not bother doctors for their hangovers and little stomach aches and thus liberate the space for real illness

All countries have issues. If it doesn't sit well for you, it doesn't mean it won't sit well for another person. I moved to Canada in 2012. I used to love Canada as even with $11 per hour job was more than enough to survive (during studies, part time job). I used to live happy life. But, since Liberal government was elected in 2015, things are going crap. Just between 2016 when I signed lease of 1+1 apartment for 1140$, in 2019 it was getting rented for $2400. Prices went up for house and lots of things. Liberals had messed up affordability that most people in Toronto region are living paycheque to paycheque. On top of it Carbon tax in hide of saving environment which literally not working out, is killing Canadians. \n\nAfter living in Canada for 11 years, I don’t see this country has any good future overall. Our banking to technology sector everything is outdated. World is moving so fast, Canada is not able to catch up. I am looking for easy was to get green card of USA, the country which I hated, it seems USA is far better. I have many relatives in USA, I asked around and it broke lots of my stereotypes about USA which I had developed living in Canada and from Canadians. Even met few people who lived in Canada for 10-15 years and moved to USA and living there for last 5-10 years. Worst decision of my life was choosing Canada in 2012 for easy immigration. My classmates who chose USA and moved there in 2012 are in much better position career wise as well salary wise and they files are also in progress. Living lavish life with great weather, while Canada is depressive as hell.
