Also for context the entire population of canada fits in California. But its mostly bunched up in vancouver, Toronto and Quebec. All.of alberta, saskatchewan and manitoba would only fill half of ontario. All of alberta fits in Toronto with some room to spare.

India should be Indian. Canada should be Canadian. Ireland should be Irish. England should be English. Italy should be Italian. Spain should be Spanish. Venezuela should be Venezuelan.

I'm all for ethnically diverse neighborhoods but there is a point where they become big enough, made up entirely of one ethnicity, no incentive to integrate or adopt the customs or even laws of the host country that it eventually becomes a foreign nation state occupying a part of Canada. Even more troublesome when the narrative is that Canada is a postnational state and that everything that came before is all bad and needs to be torn down and/or forgotten. What has attracted immigrants to Canada over time is Canadian values, all that has been built and defended in Canada. Now older generations of immigrants are complaining that Canada is turning into an oppressive, crime ridden state like the countries they fled from. That the Canadian values they cherish are being subverted.

Same here in BC. Years ago Canadians were called & charged for racism if, we didn't hire outher cultures in our businesses. Now they own the majority of businesses & no Canadians working in them. I’m a Canadian who has been in America since 1998. I can wholeheartedly say I can’t wait to move back to Canada. I feel like I’ve been watching a slow moving train wreck especially the last couple years.
