The whole tax part of this vid is wrong on so many levels. Based on your analysis, I should be paying less tax in IRL than a 200k+ person living in Candada, whereas I pay almost 46% tax (40% + hidden taxes) on my income here in IRL. And, I'm not even remotely close to 200k+ salary. Second of all, most countries have similar tax and salary requirements, where your salary is always given BEFORE tax. It's pretty common practice. Lastly, many countries requires you to register your own tax every year. It' also quite a common practice. Fair enough on giving prices before tax. That sounds bit dodgy. However, few countries I lived in have a system in place that it is mandatory to give the customer the price before tax, amount of tax and after tax pay.

I was born in the Uk and moved to Canada as a child in 1967. By 1992 I saw the writing on the wall and moved my family back to England. Now at 68 I see the writing on the wall again and we are moving to Portugal. You have to stay open and flexible in life as your life and countries change over time. Our kids and grandkids are in Denmark and England but hey a return ticket to Porto in Portugal from either is only £75 or $131 Cdn. They can visit every month!

I lived in almost every province across Canada. Spent over a decade in Halifax and some of the smaller communities. The crime there is above normal. I have lost thousands of dollars in tools multiple times from break and enters and never once had a good investigational outcome. The last time was in Truro where I lost over 20k worth of tools and household goods. I told the investigating officer who did it. The drug dealing individual was not even questioned because he was an informant for the RCMP. Ontario, Nova Scotia, and many other provinces has a false crime rate. Maybe Manitoba and Saskatchewan has a really bad crime rate because the police actually do their job. You did not mention about provincial taxes, that would definitely throw Quebec under the bus. Even though I was born in Ontario, Alberta has my number.

I always wonder how does Canada welcome 440,000 immigrants coming from overseas every year despite the housing crisis, lack of adequate jobs, poor health care system with very less number of doctors & health practitioners, weak economy, expensive cost of living triggering people to skip meals and leading them to malnutrition, extravagant taxation and very restrictive policy on hiring professional workers. A friend of mine who has a happy life in Africa wanted to move to the UK for her kids universities but its like the voice of God said no. And she obeyed. I am happy for her cause she has a home and kids go to private school and she can go to church. I said to her every where in the world is not perfect so running doesnt help. We can only run to God UK or not. Each environment has something to offer but instincts are critical in saving a person during these times.

I came from a 3rd world country in the Middle East. I thought Canada is a developed and first-world country like European countries, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, News Land, and Singapore with the western standard, and also I thought is one of the best. The first time 2018 I arrived in Vancouver, I was shocked. I saw a lot of homelessness, trash, crime, ugly urbanism, and rusty houses in downtown and east Vancouver. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022I decided to move to the east coast because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception. comparing Canada to other developed countries is wrong because Canada is only a developing country with a lot of serious problems. maybe a 2nd world country.

So true! I've been in Canada for almost 10 years and I second every single post you talk about. I'm very disappointed. In the employment field there is a brutal discrimination, if you are not Canadian you have 0 opportunities. Many times I have even more than the required skills and I don't even get a phone call. On the other hand, I have applied in US and I got a bunch of interviews. Very sad.

You are wrong about Canada protecting and caring about homeless and in-need people. The reality is that even though you don't see all the homeless people, there are tens of thousands of them in each city, more so in the warmer climates. The UN has already been on Canada's back for the abuse of homeless people and the cruelty towards them and those with mental health problems. Canada is a fraud and has been deceiving immigrants and visitors for over a hundred years. Many of the homeless people in Canada, especially in the past 20 years and from the start of the pandemic, continuing to this day, are now including people with good educations and many years of high-level job experiences, as well as whole families. These people became homeless because of massive job layoffs and lost everything. Contrary to the popular Canadian ideology, homeless people are not lazy slobs who don't bother to work and need to get their acts together. Many of the homeless shelters are filled with dangerous people, bed bugs, and diseases. Many homeless people choose to find alternatives to sleep safely. Many homeless women experience terrible sexual assaults that rarely are reported and rarely ever taken seriously by the police. Most alternatives to shelters are limited and there are so many restrictions that qualifying doesn't always happen. Many have had their ID stolen, so they are unable to get jobs, rent homes, or even have a day to shower and clean their clothes. Most donations of clothes, blankets, and sleeping bags are disregarded because most homeless people don't have the means to carry things. Their nutrition is terrible, through no fault of their own. Many food banks will not give food to those without a home. Many soup kitchens will only help periodically and not for every meal. Canada's treatment of homeless people and mentally people is not just disgraceful, but criminal. The general attitude of many Canadians, as taught to them by deliberate government propaganda, is that if you are poor or were abused or a victim of crime, is that they did something to deserve it. Rents across Canada are beyond the reach of the majority of Canadians, yet, Canada refuses to set up a council house system like the UK. There are no emergency homes and no emergency assistance even close to what the UK and other countries across the world provide. Canada's continued abuse, ill-treatment, crimes against humanity, and genocide of the First Nations peoples is not a past history, but an ongoing history that is not about reconciliation. It is about shutting them up so that they cannot speak and get true justice, instead of just a federal government settlement of a meager amount that has only increased the addictions of victims, who have no one to help them or a place to turn. Canada lies about trauma help and treatment for people for having been victims, or have developed PTSD (this is a brain injury and only a mental health problem if the person becomes suicidal or is unable to do the basics of essential living), and worse, Canada lies about this in relation to kids. Alberta has a place that they claim is for treating trauma in kids. However, this place is nothing more than a low-level counseling center to reunite kids with their parents, who have been removed by law. Any child requiring help has to deal with just basic counselors, who are not trained in helping traumatized and PTSD kids. In relation to the First Nations peoples, if the teens have mental health issues, and if they have to be temporarily hospitalized by their parents, social workers and doctors will force joint custody with the parents, to treat the kids or remove them so they can carry on the government's crimes against the First Nations peoples. The crimes continue. In these past few months, a baby was left to die in a basket at a nurse's station in the Misericordia Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta. The mother was allegedly treated like garbage and her child was allegedly called a specimen. But this is not the only case of such abuse of First Nations pregnant mothers and their children. A case over a decade ago allegedly also took place, and the number of these cases in this hospital alone may possibly be much higher, and other hospitals may also be hiding such crimes. An infant, who was the victim of attempted murder by one or the other parent, was put in the care of relatives by social workers, who were totally unaware of the crime, but the one parent, who was put in the hospital's mental health unit, mentioned a version of what had happened, and when the relatives found out, they were allegedly reassured by the hospital that they would deal with the matter. The relatives believed, understandably, that the hospital would report the crime, but it never did. Allegedly the hospital covered up yet another crime. The police in the city, allegedly informed at some point, one of the relatives that no charges could be laid even if the child remembered as the Canadian health services do not believe that children below the age of 4 can remember anything. It was when I heard about this that I realized that the reason Canada has gotten away with the crimes against the 1st Nations, immigrants, Canadians, and who knows how many other victims, through the mandated alleged use of forced assimilation and the alleged Soviet-style education system, is because of this fake claim that children and even infants cannot remember things. This deliberate lie to those relatives allegedly by the police, shows clearly that Canada is following the dangerous path in a more stealthy fashion than the Nazis did to the Jews and others they rounded up, arrested, tortured, and/or eventually murdered. Your perceptions are limited by your obvious lack of real knowledge and real experience. Please, if you are going to make such a video, live in Canada, all over Canada for at least 30 years, then comment, please!

What about the high fees and narrow ... In the education area international students who are forced whipped to take 3 / 9 even if they are sick, broke or have finally one subject left. I live in victoria, bc. Every single topic discussed on this video is not only accurate but they are things i deal with every day.\n\nI work at a hotel downtown and with all the Homelessness and mental illness my job often seems more about keeping people out of the hotel than letting people in.\n\nWe were one of the last hotels to take cash and debit and we found out the hard way it just doesnt work and now we need credit cards like the other hotels which isnt fool proof and is unfair to people who dont use credit cards (like me) but its better than nothing.\n\nA lot of people are free to move around but they do not function in a way that is compatible with modern society for which there is no escape. A lot of homeless people lead miserable lives it seems and sometimes two people having a bad day end up colliding.\n\nI have a nice home with a roomate but our landlady likes us and isnt as concerned about money as having good tenants. Yay, i like every province, but i am really happy to see my province in the 1st place. I do agree its pretty good here. Also what i like here is we learn both english and french as a main language since its both here. Also from november to march the usual temperature i like -10 Celsius to -35 Celsius. I love this country and try my best to help. I came for peace. I thought Canada is a developed and first-world country like European countries, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, News Land, and Singapore with the western standard, and also I thought is one of the best. The first time 2018 I arrived in Vancouver, I was shocked. I saw a lot of homelessness, trash, crime, ugly urbanism, and rusty houses in downtown and east Vancouver. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022I decided to move to the east coast because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception.

In what world is BC not the best province in Canada? Aside from the high property costs it's objectively the best by almost every metric aside from population as quebec and ontario have more. And how the fuck is Alberta over it, that province is trash and it's only rich because of oil and resource extraction. It’s definitely changed a lot! Used to love it in 2012-17, but now is full of immigrants who have not mitigated or cannot due to their background and culture ! Every single talking point he said if you break it down is spending more money or potentially giving back a few hundred in tax rebates that’s it. What a joke. The way I see this after watching this documentary for which I am not even an international student, that there are no consequences at all from Canada to those colleges. No one is regulating anything, hence, these Crimes (Yes its a crime because of the straight out lies and misinformation) in India or even other countries will continue to happen. Brampton (City near Toronto) have majority of Punjabi population and I am sure you can find many more students with even worse stories than this. 4-5 Int student dead bodies sent to India every month!! Just wow!

In Australia everything is electronic, no visa stamps at all. The first Australian document you get is an Australian passport after becoming a citizen. There are no permanent resident cards etc. Every entry/exit is automatically logged on the government system, and you can even download an app which tells you your visa status, conditions and whether you're onshore or offshore (so no need for passport stamps).
