so the problem is that the REAL MEANNING OF EDUCATION HAS CHANGED, this foreign people just see money instead of be part of a university, the solution will be that INDIA MAKE THE EFFORT TO HAVE HIGH EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS. according to its own reality and culture

I hope there will be some meanful actions

I did come to canada via a top school so my path was different, but for many that is not the case. Intense competition in india means , those who are not competitive enough india apply for other countries.
2022-10-24 0
i mean you should find out about the university as well. If it is not a good one, it doesn't make sense to even go there. Just going to 'any' university doesn't make sense.

Exactly why I left. So on point. Thanks for the real talk. People should know what entrapment means.

I do not understand only one thing and thats the Indian people obsession with Canada and USA, I mean going there and letting your parents pay huge amounts of money and selling their lands and breaking their back for your school fees to enter some low level college or university and in the end not even sure if you will succeed. Instead you can go to Europe ( a lot of countries to choose from ) much cheaper or even free in some countries, all you have to do is learn the language (for it to be free) you can have a good life, cheaper and safer than US or Canada and after you graduate you can get a good job with good pay, even get permanent residence or citizenship. But still 99 percent of Indians wanna move to US OR Canada,UK aswell and in some cases Australia.

Canada means Cheating in every way.

I mean to easily solve this just stay in your own country. The green isn’t always greener on the other side

It’s against the law to discriminate against someone based on their religion in the United States. That would also mean that no law can be passed to allow Sikhs to carry a kirpan anywhere they want because that would mean you’re discriminating against non Sikhs based on their religion.

I think it’s cute that Indians think that the letter of apology means he can now carry a knife on campus.

The problem here is that Canadian government and Canadian colleges think that international students mean Sikh students from Punjab... that's all I saw in this video.. when I saw the title of the video, I thought I might know about international students... but all I'm seeing is Sikhs, Sikhs everywhere... where is multiculturalism? Where are the other ethnicities? Are we missing something here?
2022-10-15 0
Hi, it’s a useful video. Thanks for that. Can you share details about monthly income? I mean how much an international student can earn while doing a part time job at a minimum wage in the worst case scenario? By the way, I’m from Sri Lanka

It is kirpan which means kirpa with blessing of lord and aaan means to protect dignity and life. This cannot be even taken out to show someone.Kirpan is used in times of danger only.Sikhs carry it in all countries around the world and its legal. People who are saying shit. Should know about sikh history it is part of sikh religion. A sikh has to carry it.. Its is one of five kakaar when they are baptised. A amritdhari Sikh always has it. If u dont have example from history to proof your point.. Keep your mouth Shut.

So I think Canada is ranked 3rd best in the world to live in (I might be wrong but it's top 5 for sure). Your speaking about nothing to do in Canada, Health care concerns, high taxes or cost of living and other things (honestly your video was just hurting my head listing to). While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. Not to mention all the multicultural festivals that take place. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Canada is flawed and has its issues. However, It's a beautiful country and is a gem of a place to put roots down. I'm sorry you guys didn't feel that way.

Iran has its rule.. country got their rule.. u want to hold kirpan, carry it their in your country… if anyone’s religions allows to cut throat that doesnt mean thats is permissible..
2022-10-09 0
the harsh reality is we can’t expect other nations to accept our beliefs, as it means nothing to them they don’t know what it means to us.
2022-10-09 0
He’s in another country, different law, different habits, different mentality. Why other cultures come to Europe or USA always demanding to respect their culture? It should be the other way around. He can wear his ritual knife but hide it because in our culture it’s dangerous object and most people are ignorant toward religions. He’s wearing a western T-shirt that means he’s flexible, he could hide it.
2022-10-08 0
I mean have your KIRPAN or whatever… but no where in the religion does it say to carry it like that? Have it under your shirt or something, if not then you are asking for it??? \n\nHe thinks their offending him but imagine because if this everyone allowed to carry a knife to school ? How deadly would that become amongst young dumb and full of hormone adult teens ? \n\nBe proud of your ethnicity and faith but dont act arrogant when you know it doesn’t fit the environment?
2022-10-08 0
Cool, my 9mm is part of my religion. I have to carry it everywhere. My religion trumps the rules, laws and regulations of the country I take advantage of living in. \n\nThis is some no-brainer type shit. I don't feel bad. It's this type of bullshit that causes divides in our country. You're not special. Now masses of dumb fucks are going to Hate this officer and other officials because they are doing they're job. No weapons means no weapons. This could have turned out way uglier.
2022-10-08 0
Bruh I could use that to stab so many people I think I might become one, cause clearly faith now trumps people’s right to feel safe, or maybe I should start a religion around bombs, does that mean I can wear one out and about ?
2022-10-08 0
Not all Americans are clueless oh what this knife means to this man.
2022-10-08 0
What is wrong with people i mean we should try and respect everyones religion respect for this guy
2022-10-08 0
I mean. It is a knife in school lol. What he expect. How would someone know it’s a religious thing?
2022-10-07 0
I mean just stay at home or move countrys checkmate
2022-10-07 0
Now you all understan whats freedom mean
2022-10-07 0
If he has to carry it all the time, why was it not an issue before? \nI mean, if he's always been wearing it, wouldn't the campus security know by now??
2022-10-06 0
can he not wear it inside his clothes??..i mean it can make other people feel safe if they ar afraid...or can also stop other people targeting him intentionally
2022-10-04 0
I speak for myself and not on behalf of anyone.\n\nFirstly, in any such situation be it any religion, caste etc, before reacting, imagine if this was happening to your own son/daughter, your own brother/sister. \n\nSecondly what faith one chooses to practice and how they embrace it, be it wearing a kirpan, a burqa, or keeping a shika(choti), etc, especially opinions like what one can or cannot wear/do, lead to more harm than good. We don't live there, it's not our religion, it's not our life, then who are we to condemn and be opinionated about them.\n\nThirdly, whether the kirpan should be allowed inside an educational campus can only be determined by the campus authorities, the local police and the Sikh community representatives there.\n\nYes, he could have and should have worn it on the inside just like so many Brahmins wear the sacred white thread (yajnopavita).\n\nHe could have taken prior permission from the college authorities to freely wear it if possible and all this could have been avoided. Maybe he doesn't get the permission to wear it, who knows, there are countless possibilities.\n\nAnd lastly, I've come across so many comments labelling the Sikhs as Khalistanis, then if there's some other incident, commenting that people of so and so faith are terrorists, etc.\n\nBy all means, please call us Khalistanis, please call us terrorists, call us anything you like, but we'll continue to respect and love everyone.\n\nIt's a shame that our Jawaans are dying on the border fighting for their country, fighting for our country, fighting for us and we are creating divisions amongst ourselves. Petty name calling and what not.\n\nWe are Indians first, any Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, or Parsi...Indian getting harassed is my brother/sister getting harassed. Their loss is our loss.\n\nPS: If I have offended anyone, my apologies.

I mean. This isn’t India ?????
2022-10-02 0
USA is the Dumbest place on Earth. Why the hell they don’t know how to respect someone’s religion. He was not using that knife and first of all thats not a knife thats a Kripan which means something that’s only be used against bad things and to protect weaker not to threaten innocents.
2022-10-02 0
I mean there is no point in keeping a knife with you, but hey it's America people keep guns there
2022-10-02 0
he could use it if he wanted to. that means it's fair for everyone to carry one
2022-10-02 0
I mean.. it’s still a knife. What if my religion’s symbol was uranium 235? Would I be allowed to wear it around in university campus?
2022-10-01 0
I mean. Then we’re gonna have a new random ass religion that believes in beheading chickens (which already exists = Santeria) and y’all gonna be cool about that? Y’all gotta use some common sense lol.
2022-10-01 0
You mean I could start a religion and then make it a law to carry knives and it would be considered legal?
2022-10-01 0
I like the way sikh brother smiled... his smile meaning is *they don't know, I will not take it out till there is a need for humanity* .
2022-09-30 0
I mean i agree. Although US is not a place to live with every other day school shootings. You need not carry all 5 of religious symbols. Arresting is not right, but neither is carrying a kirpan to school.
2022-09-30 0
I wonder if I can carry any weapon I want on me anywhere no matter what, because of my fake religious beliefs? All religions are fake propaganda used to scare people that there is a God of some sort going to come down, and get rid of all evil people in our world. Which is completely stupid, because according to the Bible Jesus's dad was a God, but didn't stop the evil dictators of his time to prevent his sons death. I a mean a God with so much so called power could allow such evil humans to murder his son? That's the stupidest thing I ever heard of. Oh he sacrificed his son for other people's sins. I call bullshit, no God in their right mind allows evil dictators to murder their innocent son for no reason at all, especially when a God could fix the evil dictators minds with his called powers. Oh I forgot I watching a marvel movie, just a bunch of fake fantasy books, and movies in our world to distract from reality.

Good....... Let him understand the meaning of breathing the free air in India.
2022-09-30 0
Why did the university issue apology? Just cause his religion follows this doesn't mean we can put security at risk. A knife is a knife, religion shouldn't interfere with law and order
2022-09-30 0
Sikhism originated in India and even in India, Sikh officers do not carry the Kirpan at places of security. Concealed carry is also an option.\nReligious symbols are meant for a particular purpose and when there is a law or rule that is aimed to prevent any misuse w.r.t. security then it ought to be implemented. Christianity promotes Wine but that doesn't mean schools should start allowing kids to bring wine to school.

thanks for the update.\nplease ma, I have checked the website, almost all the employers are demanding for high school diploma.\nmy questions are, if I apply for that job, will my employer ask for my results over there? I mean do I need to go with my results to Canada?\n secondly, will my employer pay for all the cost of relocating to Canada?

Which IELTS, mean GT or Academic is valid or eligible in this AIP?someone says Academic is ineligible and General Test is required for This program?please clarify if it is possible
2022-09-24 0
I tried the CRS score simulator, and I cannot believe my score is way below the latest cutoff. I'm 35 years old with PhD degree, already maximized the IELTS score. The only thing that can still bump up my score is if I can get a job offer in Canada, but even with that the score is still just a bit below the cut off. Is it really difficult to pass the cut off? does this mean I'd have 0 chance of getting the ITA?

The fact that it’s a small number of people doesn’t mean Islam is any less to blame. Do you see Christians, Hindus, Sikhs doing this anywhere in any number? There are obviously many in the Islamic community that tacitly support this.
