These people aren't coming to Canada because they have nowhere else to, they're coming because they prefer to live in Canada over anywhere else. That does not constitute a necessity as their lives are no longer in danger once they leave their homes in South America, Africa, Pakistan, Afghanistan and India.

It's funny they try to migrate to countries with immense taxes for their citizens and legal workers, and with social programs paid by these tax dollars. All they have to do is get there somehow and illegally OfCourse, and then give birth to couple of dozens of kids then and bingo. They work for cash, doesn't pay taxes and make use of social programs paid by legal residents who pay taxes. So unfair and people who have sympathy for them should at least accommodate one or two families in their own homes after preaching about others being accommodating.

If you are indigenous to North America anywhere in North America should be open to you, the Europeans came and cut up this continent for their benefit, they made borders all over this world taking other people's countries something nobody did to Europe. What the heck is going on? In the last few days there's been news of migrants leaving Canada to come to the US, and now the opposite. I'm willing to bet this is economy related. The difference in cost of living (Canada being higher) I think has become a problem. Also, everyone in the US doesn't have to live in NY or LA, so we can decide on a more affordable city to live in. It might not be as cosmopolitan as NYC or TO, but at least you can afford a home. My Mom was born in Ontario in the 20's, and migrated to the US in the 40's for lack of work. In the 80's, I would have loved to have moved to TO... even had girlfriends there, but doors just wouldn't open. Get in if you can, but if you take away the epidemic of U.S. gun violence (wish we could...), then America is still a good place to live and is still a magnet destination for the world. Great video!

While it's hard to get a family doctor, medical care is not unattainable. There are walk in clinics, urgent care centers and emergency hospitals. \nHere you were treated according to the urgency of your situation. It's called triage. If you are fine your doctor will send you home rather than pay for unnecessary test. However if you have a legitimate medical issue or strong family history of serious medical issues your doctor will order will order testing. When that testing will be done depends on the urgency of the situation.\nFor example: It took 2 weeks to get a lump biopsy, results came back with cancer cells, surgery wait time was 3 days. If I needed a hip/knee replacement I'd be waiting 3 months. The emphasis is on preventive medicine.

USA is way better than Canada. \nCanada is a third world country pretending it is developed. \nCanada you can make 20$/hr and pay 1 million dollars for a 50 year old home.\nIn the USA so long as you work hard you can be successful\nA major difference is that Americans respect human rights and democracy. THE conclusion is obvious. If you are rich, young and healthy with no pre-existing conditions .... then the U.S. If you are average and need some social support in order to get well into the job market and pay taxes for the benefit of the next generation ... then Canada. .... and please ... do remember .... one car accident in the US and all the success may be over even with the best insurance. Lastly, if you look for a more work-to-home balanced life ... then definitely NOT the U.S.
