Good ? more population needed and better growth. Canada’s immigration policy works. As a Canadian living in Japan it’s so obvious to see what a very very wrong policy looks like as Japan gets poorer and poorer and it’s pension slowly but surely erodes. Now people will have to work until 70 to get any kind of pension.

Good thing everyone will come to Canada ready to pay $2000 a month for a 1 bedroom apartment for a family of four. This is great news good job government Canadians are in good hands.

America wins in my opinion. I think this is more of a video based on Canadian pride rather than facts. things Like half a point for hygiene gets thrown in there which is just a slap in the face to Americans.\nThen idiotic statements about it being better because it's more gay friendly. Well I already left the Canada last year after having lived for 5 years. I am in my early 30s , south asian immigrant. I had a good paying job. I left because more so because of the social isolation and the pandemic measures. Plus I feel most Canadians may seem polite , but not friendly as in - extremely hard to make friends. Ethnic groups stick to themselves and don't mix. I found dating to be extremely hard and toxic. People have high individualistic mentality and don't open up.\n\nI am now in working in Mexico / Latin America and my mental health has greatly improved. I am able to socialize and women here aren't as stuck up as in Canada. Real world interactions are valued here unlike in Canada where it's all about the apps and social media. Also who doesn't like some good consistent sunshine. Overall , I am happy to have left Canada and am not coming back.

Recruiters are scammers, these people coming here are also scammers. Canadians are going homeless because of these scammers. Most of the Canadians don’t understand. Canada should focus on bring good quality labor from different countries. Canada is expected to be the slowest developing economies among developed countries.

I do not understand only one thing and thats the Indian people obsession with Canada and USA, I mean going there and letting your parents pay huge amounts of money and selling their lands and breaking their back for your school fees to enter some low level college or university and in the end not even sure if you will succeed. Instead you can go to Europe ( a lot of countries to choose from ) much cheaper or even free in some countries, all you have to do is learn the language (for it to be free) you can have a good life, cheaper and safer than US or Canada and after you graduate you can get a good job with good pay, even get permanent residence or citizenship.But still 99 percent of Indians wanna move to US OR Canada,UK aswell and in some cases Australia.

It's just half story, bigger question is why mostly punjabi students go to Canada, when in India you can earn good and enjoy your family life!!!!! And most of these kids belong to good wealthy family. The real story/reason is something different!!!!

i am an indian and i dont understand why some indian families particularly in punjab and andhra region are soo obsessed with sending there kids outside for education ??? it has little value in india unless it is an IB league college .. someone going to canada to study commerce or a BSc is very stupid . Finish your graduation in india and give exams for masters . go abroad only if you have a certain good score otherwise it is of no use .

The problem with Indian people is that despite their hard work and dreams for good, their energies are misdirected without concerns that there are laws, rules and expectations in other countries that are different then theirs. For Canada, what is hesitation to talk straight about approving student visa, where applicant don’t afford to pay for travel, full time education and living expenses at all without simultaneously working, where no appropriate jobs are possible or available at all.

Why is Canadian colleges charging fees 3 times equivalent to residents fees. Why is Canadian Government not able to give more managerial jobs than labour jobs for students because there are only warehouses in Canada. Canada only wants labors and that too students who can work overtime to pay their bills and expenses. Why Canadian government not auditing houses which provides such shaddy accommodations...because these all narratives suits Canada and you Canadian exploit innocent rural people from India on pretext of PR and good life not never share these harsh realities

I am planning to go to Canada next year, I have done my research, and there are some good colleges in Canada like Durham, Humber, George Brown, and Algonquin but after watching this I am skeptical. \n\nFeels like dropping the plan and doing a master's in the UK and coming back to home.

Yeah it's hard to find a job and keep the job in Canada. Even with a job that doesn't require education and anybody can do, I come across someone who is not happy with me being there and they try to find reasons why I shouldn't work there ?it happened 16 years ago when I first got into workforce and it happened not too long ago again. I was inventory clerk counting products at different stores. I believe I was an accurate counter and someone who recounted them told my manager I wasn't good. She said many of them I counted were either off or she couldn't understand my writing. And the manager had to have a talk with me. I can honestly say I was better counter than she was. And I feel very confident I was very careful with counting that day too. But she thought otherwise. I couldn't bear working with someone or some people who didn't appreciate my work or my presence there so I had to quit. It will happen again and I thought it wouldn't matter how accurate I am at counting. One of my Canadian colleagues once told me that it's okay for immigrants to live in Canada but it's not okay to work with them. I don't know if that's a fact but in my experience I have encountered some people like that along the way.

Btw, garanty of success, of employment, doesn't exist and it's baked in the capitalism system that private enterprise and private college prioritize profits (btw, for non Canadian, education, is not subsidized). \nNow, if illegal/fraud practices are occurring, then like any Canadian, you will have to make a complaint to the police and/or take legal action (basically If you don't have money, you're F!). \n \nMaybe the Ontario government should have more stringent laws for private Colleges and recruiting agencies, like mandatory advertising for: \n\t- the required money for subsistence and the low likelihood of finding a good job that will enable students to work; \n\t- the % failure, homelessness, suicide,... \n\t- mental and social stress, differences,... \n \nMaybe Canada could: \n\t- be more stringent with student visa and have a written acknowledgement that states all the risks and pitfalls. \n\t- Guive visa only if the recruiting was done through accredited agencies \n\t- Do official advertisements in India about the risks and requirements of studying abroad. \n \nMaybe a full capitalism society is not moral, but it's the system we decided to live in.

I am ashamed at once again we put money above human rights we always need to look at what we are doing against humans rights before we start pointing fingers. Canada please do better.

It wouldn't take much research to find this out. Put that smartphone to good use. Even word of mouth amongst the predominant group must happen or maybe start a Facebook group? If Canada began denying students VISA to them in order 'to protect' them, there would be an outcry. All to say, it's the parents and student responsibility to do their due diligence.

Hi Jason from the Uk I want to move on and settle down in Canada. How will I get there I am a British citizen and how much money. I am not about immigration rules I have to apply online. It’s having to take too many tests that’s why? You need slot of IQ \nTests so where do I stand in the immigration process. It’s not easy at all. I feel held back. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. However, the issues you have faced in Australia will haunt you in some way in Canada too. I am a Canadian PR and just love Canada. The people are very nice, landscape is amazing, and it is cheaper than Australia. But it is just as hard in Canada to find a good job as it is in Australia. I am a Petroleum Engineer with over 10 years of experience working in a fortune 500 company, yet I cannot even get an interview for a related job in Canada. I also realized that lots of immigrants who came here through express entry and have years of experience work overseas despite staying in Canada for years due to the lack of opportunities. I have lived in Australia and now in Canada. Canada is a tough country in terms of weather, wages are low, taxes are higher than Australia, too expensive and very hard to save here. Starting wage here is 15$ whereas in perth, starting wage is 30$. House prices are higher than Canada. I believe you will regret leaving Australia for Canada sooner than later but I wish good luck.

Your video just popped up and I was drawn to watch it. I have been in Sydney for 7 years. Same pathway in - a student visa, but I got PR through my studies soon after my graduation and now a citizen. Yes, I agree that Australian permanent residency is tough, but I also realise that not equipping yourself with the right information creates a hurdle for many people. If PR is the goal, the SOL and every other related information leading from that list should be your manual. Let that information guide your decisions. However, I concur that Australia's stance on immigration is confusing - harping on about skilled shortages and wanting to attract the right people, but also keeping them in limbo for ages. It makes for an unsustainable system. Good luck to you in Canada. May your wishes match your expectations.

I was born and raised in Canada. My family immigrated in the 70s. Growing up I was proud to be Canadian but after living in other parts of the world I can tell you, Canada isn't it! \n\nFirstly our Prime Minister is a puppet he works for the Commonwealth and whatever they say goes, they profit off all of your hard work. \nThey keep you sick so you rely on the health care system. Medicate you instead of solving the problem. Doctors are exhausted, rude and over worked, emergency rooms are a disaster and if you book an appointment to see your doctor...be sure you're waiting at least a week. If you go to a walk in clinic you risk getting a doctor that seems like they paid for a fake degree.\n\nYou know when you go to a mall in one town and then hear about a mall in another town that has really cool different things??? Ya, not here! Everything is monopolized! Same stores everywhere you go. there's a mall in Toronto called Vaughn Mills mall, when I was in Calgary they have an exact replica just a different name. Small businesses are hard to keep because everything is so expensive. There needs to be more indoor things for people to do in the winter. \n\nWhoever said Canadians are polite, has never been to Alberta!!!! Sounds like Canada doing a good job using tax policy to fight inequality and deliver public services and a decent safety net.\nAs for real estate and rent in major cities, under our current hyper-financialised regime world wide, this is ever gonna be an issue.

It sounds so dumb seeing two Nigerian ladies complain about standard of living in Canada while their own country is 1000000 times worse. I felt ashamed watching this as a Nigerian and I realised people would always keep complaining. Dear ladies if Nigeria was 20% as good as canada , it would be a thing to rejoice about.
