At a time when Internet was at its infancy and not available to all, I had researched, applied (snail mail), and came to Canada in 1995 as a foreign student and attended a public college for 3+ years, including co-op. This was 27 years ago and it surprises me that with the wealth of information at our disposal today, there are folks who are still being taken for a ride. People need to smarten up, but often times, I find that it’s the shortcut attitude of many which allows a system like this to exists. I feel sad for these students and their parents, but if you truly want to have a full-fledged Uni / College experience in Canada, then stay away from these for-profit private colleges; apply to a school of repute.

There is lots of good universities in India...it's more affordable than in Canada...leaving parents, family and friends behind to study here...and breaking parents back and all savings for a foreign studies...not worth it at all...if Canada government is not giving relief to international students..then Canada should stop calling international students coming here...problem solved

i am an indian and i dont understand why some indian families particularly in punjab and andhra region are soo obsessed with sending there kids outside for education ??? it has little value in india unless it is an IB league college .. someone going to canada to study commerce or a BSc is very stupid . Finish your graduation in india and give exams for masters . go abroad only if you have a certain good score otherwise it is of no use .

The reason why the gov’t is painting a rosy picture of Canada is because they want to suck people’s money. Either from exoensive international student fees or immigrants who are bled dry from taxes. They want to grow the population so more people will buy goods and services and rent/buy real estate. Essentially you will be a cash cow to support the lifestyle of upper classes. I guess the sacrifice is worth it for people who want to raise their children in Canada.

What I see in Canada is that lots of people have an employee mentality. Many of them make a good income, but they spend their money on stupid things, like nice cars, expensive phones, fancy restaurants, trips, etc. How can they expect to build wealth if they basically flush their hard-earned money down the toilet? It's true that housing and food are expensive in Canada, but that's basically all you need to live. The rest of your income can be used to create businesses and more income streams, but no people prefer their 9 to 5 job and watch non-sensical TV shows after that.

I did not listen to the entire video but sharing my story.\n\nI came to Toronto Canada it's been 22 years and I will leave here and die here despite its expensive to live but people stay where they belong, where their soul is at peace and where there is their happiness.\n\nI moved here with my abusive husband at that time. Back home as divorce was taboo, I would have remained married n suffer. He moved on and left me and my child of 5 years old on the street but thanks to Canada, no one judged me, no one talked about me. I did not ask or took any help cause I worked 2 jobs for few years to make ends meet. Ummmm.. you sound like you moved to 1 city and making your analogy. I am american and lived in Canada for 30 years of my life. Florida a 1 bedroom is 2400 and at best you can get a 800 Sq ft for 15. Got forbid you get sick in America you go bankrupt. You get paid more in the states... lol some states minimum wage is 5 to 7 dollars. Every country has a staffing problem in medical field. If you wanna be a you tuber now yes u.s can be better for that LA, Florida places with no winter where you can film every season is a plus.
