I think Pakistan is a really a sickening state, not made for poor but for Nawaabs, rich army men and bureaucrats. Let crocked minded people stay there because this system suits them. Dr sb, Take interview of this lovely couple after two year when they go back to Pakistan and their views will be different. Quebec is #1 because of all the handouts from the rest of the country. Alberta has paid for Quebec as long as I can remember and all they do is shit on the west. I disagree about Quebec being #1 province in Canada. Main reason is the language barrier. If you are just driving through it to get to the east coast,, beware,, when you stop for gas, or anything, Quebec people will try to speak ONLY French and give English speaking people a difficult time

As if you would rate the province of Quebec as #1! And yes, one had better learn French living there and forget about using English. This is the province where the October Crisis of 1970 took place. This is the province where English signs are on their way out. The Rock Machine biker gang started here, second only to the Hells Angels. This province bucks what others do, in many ways. For instance, if you marry in this province and you are a woman, the marriage license, unlike other provinces, doesn't allow you to change your birthname to that of your husband. Personally, I think that's a good rule, but I think it would tick off a lot of people. And this province makes no concession to being bilingual. They prefer French only. They're often wanting to separate from the rest of Canada. They will not allow certain types of workers from out of province to work in Quebec. Is it beautiful? Yes, very, but there is much beauty in all of Canada.

I'm Manitoban and that hurt. We do most often have the highest crime and murder rate, and the worst weather. But #1 worst province of 10?? Ouch!

If BC is so bad (under Alberta, QUEBEC and Ontario). And the only reason given was expensive housing. Why do so many people retire there and THEN somehow find the money to buy? Housing is expensive because so many people want to live there. Come on, that puts it a #1 if you stop for half a second to think about it.
