I don’t understand what they’re trying to accomplish here. Your best bet is to rise up together as a population and fight for better conditions with your government by any means necessary. This solves absolutely nothing. Why the hell would you want to leave your home?

There is a 5 million home shortage in this country. Illegals are making it worse. We need 1.5 million homes built each year just for population growth, fire, flood, tornados, hurricanes, old age. We have been under that for over a decade after the last housing crash which put builders out of business. Now, less builders, large housing deficit and high mortgage rates.

Everyone just resorts to basically saying they should all be kicked out!! Why can’t we find a solution? I just don’t get why this is such a controversial issue! Kicking them out or criminalizing them is just sweeping the issue under the rug. It doesn’t solve the problem, meaning after a while they will come back and we will be right back where we started. \n\nI guess I just feel like there should be a little more compassion and problem solving when talking about immigration!

Wait so why a mass of people trying to cross the borders?\n\nI just looked it up, so basically there is a rumor that it was migration celebration or something where they would be allowed to migrate freely. In order for them to seek asylum, they must schedule in advance through an app, which I find it weird. The app however is very glitchy, so a lot of problems here. Some of these people have traveled far away believing this rumor. Reason why people are trying to cross so they can escape poverty and violence in their home country. Sad really.

They need to be sent home and try and come in legally.

I cant imagine being in their shoes.. its heartbreaking. Theyre so desperate to feel safe and stable again and they truly think america is the safest place and will produce opportunities. My father is a viet war lieutenant and was privileged to be able to come here legally as a refugee. He provided our family with a stable home and never starved. My family is very privileged and i wish i could help all of those in war torn countries or just people running from corruption but its so little we could do…

I am not against immigration but the fact of the matter is this in this country aren’t going well even for its own citizens. Homelessness is up, inflation is up, unemployment, gas and groceries are up. The average American has to make a choice every month wether they get to feed their family or catch up on bills. We need to improve our infrastructure some cities are literally falling to pieces. We need to fix our country just like these folks need to do to their home country, running from the problem won’t fix it.

This is what occurs when you fail to secure your boarders and ensure you protect those boarder with robust enforcement. Would anyone allow free entry to their home to anyone? Obviously not, yet every Country has a vocal minority who protest against boarder controls, they encourage and support mass immigration for all comers. \n\nYet when crime, drugs, and public disorder takes over they cream and shout! We can't even afford it here ourselves... Try to get your country back under control if possible. There is already so much competition right now in Denver that I will need a wife to afford to buy a home here. It is ridiculously hard to get a home here unless you make $100k a year and were sent here from California with $50-100k support from their families, us normal people cannot compete with that.

I am an American citizen whose family came over in one of the first colonies and after losing our dream home in foreclosure we can not find housing because the prices have doubled and in some places here tripled here in GA. If we could afford to take them we could but we can’t and trying to riot and force your way into this country is WRONG.
