While I sympathize towards those who really need help, there will come a point where Canada can't just take in all these people. The system will be overwhelmed and there might be negative changes in the country with too much people... if we do take in all these people, there has to be really good support for them so they can assimilate into the Canadian culture and work better lives so they won't be a burden...

There is a system in place to enter the US legally. It's not perfect. However, the US political parties are not willing to change it. Biden should face a tribunal for his crimes against humanity.

According to refugee rules they have to migrate to 2 countries outside of their home country to seek asylum. Maybe Canada was not their 1st choice but a means to an end to get that 2nd country eligiblity for asylum. Now to what an individual country offers in protection is up to its citizens to change the laws not to complain about it.

Well it makes sense if we understand how policies have changed over time. If you were allowing refugee crossings, and then all of a sudden bar people from a certain region, they’ll get backed up. You have to have gradual changes

I can guarantee you that if we had responsible voting laws in this country just as simple as having an ID and proving American Citizenship, we wouldn’t be having this problem. I've been in this country legally for nearly 40 years... Over the last year I've been struggling to prove my citizenship again because of all the changes this administration has made... I served in Iraq, I love this country, now I'm struggling to find work cause they're claiming I should be a green card holder and not a citizen...
