Immigrated to Canada from Germany several years ago and I agree with everything you said. Especially the quality of houses. As a European I'm shocked about the way houses are built. Poor quality and very cheap materials. If you willing to spend a million dollar for a cardboard box, good luck but not for me.\nComing here with over 24 years of experience as builder I'm still astonished about the lack of education in many fields not just the trades. \nBut depending on where you settle down, Canadians are very friendly and helpful:)

we moved here in 2001 because canada once was a prosperous country under the harper government. cost of living was acceptable, income taxes weren't too high, crime was low. now, canada is the complete opposite. low-middle class families being sucked dry of their finances due to carbon tax, high cost of living, and government funding ideology with tax payer money. income taxes set to go up again in 2023, extremely high crime rate, bringing in copious amounts of immigrants without reinforcing infrastucture is going to be disastrous.

Canada has find a genius way to make the country rich by making the foreigners work for them doing all sorts of Labour. Foreigners doing the hardest work , Many left very good jobs with very good pay to move Canada , spent huge amount of money for immigration application, and find themselves stuck and going through tough time in Canada finding jobs etc \nLife in Canada is very expensive all the hard earn money ended up in paying taxes and huge bills, expensive mortgage.. some friends i know have returned back to their country..

I wish I'd watched your video before we moved to Canada. Thank you for pointing out so many pertinent issues! We have been in Ontario for over 4 years and we have not found a family doctor yet! One of the greatest issues in Canada right now is the complete disregard for Constitutional rights, especially where medical choices are concerned.

To enlighten the drug addiction in Canada, the United States also pays for needles and drugs to keep the druggies calm and quiet. Racism and discrimination are big BIG problems in the U.S. The healthcare system does not treat people of color, different nationalities, and American Natives with the same level of care. These diverse communities tend to be treated with less health quality when compared to the white population.

Canada is a good place to raise a family not a good place to retire

I came from a 3rd world country in the Middle East. I thought Canada is a developed and first-world country like European countries, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, News Land, and Singapore with the western standard, and also I thought is one of the best. The first time 2018 I arrived in Vancouver, I was shocked. I saw a lot of homelessness, trash, crime, ugly urbanism, and rusty houses in downtown and east Vancouver. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022I decided to move to the east coast because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception. comparing Canada to other developed countries is wrong because Canada is only a developing country with a lot of serious problems. maybe a 2nd world country.

to be honest , you are showing only one side of the story . These are not students , these are economic migrant. Many citizens in Canada are also struggling with under employment, taxes , rent etc. \n\nMajority of students are working on cash , not paying any tax and useing all resources , No one wants to tell these facts.

Canada is actively trying to kill off it's homeless instead of having shelters and mental health support. Like actual city hall talking about hoping the winter kills off homeless. I don't get how the world thinks Canada is this great place. I've been here 54 years, it's poor and horrible to it's own people especially if they're indigenous or homeless. As a 13year old was put in a man's maximum security prison, held in solitary - every day. Most of the land is crown land, ( even land designated for logging ) the government allows you temporary camping privileges of up to 2 weeks on that land (you can not homestead on it) , the rest is reserved for agriculture or for First Nations. Only 5% is available for freehold housing accommodation , which is why Canada is in a housing crunch. The availability of livable land is so scarce because the land that was available when the country was born was given away to homesteaders. That meant that the land was given away in large parcels. Now it’s almost impossible to make those parcels into smaller parcels without doing what is called a “land assembly” . A land assembly means a developer buys a sum of large parcels , then applies for a permit to sub divide into a new subdivision consisting of smaller houses. Even then the smaller houses that are built will still cost a small fortune, because the developer and all the people involved take a sizeable profit from the sale of the homes.

it's all an open secret. Especially in Punjab, almost everyone knows everyone who immigrates to Canada. Life is tough for an international student, but I think almost all of them ultimately dream of receiving PR. \n\nResearch is important for everyone student which colleges, courses and fee. \nI have seen so many students, who did Engineering in India and end up career jobs in Security and labour jobs. As long as international student act as cash cow, the exploitation will continue.
