Somehow got a job. \nDoing great in India. But had my dreams like Canada would be great. As salary is more. \nBut now. \n\nI feel I am living like a king enjoying my life here as a Bharatiya. \n\nYes I don't have millions \nBut I have a peace of mind. Fitfth estate It’s not Just international students it’s people with disabilities here in Canada too that are struggling I feel feel very sorry for these international students we can’t find work either and we are exploited to please do a documentary on disability that want to go to college people like me in BC fifth estate

Yeah it's hard to find a job and keep the job in Canada. Even with a job that doesn't require education and anybody can do, I come across someone who is not happy with me being there and they try to find reasons why I shouldn't work there ?it happened 16 years ago when I first got into workforce and it happened not too long ago again. I was inventory clerk counting products at different stores. I believe I was an accurate counter and someone who recounted them told my manager I wasn't good. She said many of them I counted were either off or she couldn't understand my writing. And the manager had to have a talk with me. I can honestly say I was better counter than she was. And I feel very confident I was very careful with counting that day too. But she thought otherwise. I couldn't bear working with someone or some people who didn't appreciate my work or my presence there so I had to quit. It will happen again and I thought it wouldn't matter how accurate I am at counting. One of my Canadian colleagues once told me that it's okay for immigrants to live in Canada but it's not okay to work with them. I don't know if that's a fact but in my experience I have encountered some people like that along the way.

I feel so bad for these students. Those teachers mentioning that we will look back 20 years from now and feel ashamed about this situation. Well, the situation hasn’t changed much since I came to Canada in 95. Education was a business back then and it is still a business. I got my education in some of the top universities in Canada but never felt like it was for education, it was more like running business for these universities.

This is truly heartbreaking, I feel so sorry for International Students who came here with dreams but were given something far below that. I am a Canadian born student, brought up and raised in Brampton but I made friends with many international students. I don't understand how International students have to pay 3-4x our tuition, cover their living expenses, and have work restrictions on their study permit. The truth is competion is everywhere and companies are competing for top students who go to credible universites. I don't see how international students are suppose to compete with these students when there is a shortage of high-paying jobs. I truly feel bad. I advise students to tell their stories to their younger siblings and cousins back home and prevent them from living a hard-working life with little reward. Advise them to complete their studies back home and find a job in big cities back home. As a domestic student I struggle to pay for my own expenses and I could not imagine if I did not have my parents support. This is fraud on another level!!!

I would love to a similar documentary regarding the situation of international students in Australia. As a former international this feels sadly familiar.

Hi Jason from the Uk I want to move on and settle down in Canada. How will I get there I am a British citizen and how much money. I am not about immigration rules I have to apply online. It’s having to take too many tests that’s why? You need slot of IQ \nTests so where do I stand in the immigration process. It’s not easy at all. I feel held back. Why is it too hard \nI am waiting to buy a PC laptop before I start to apply. How much it will cost ? \nThanks Jason but I feel it’s very hard. \nIt’s not like the UK. I can speak in English not sure about the French language. It’s a very hard situation to do but willing to pass all the tests ok. \nI hope to go abroad. Please let me know. So I think Canada is ranked 3rd best in the world to live in (I might be wrong but it's top 5 for sure). Your speaking about nothing to do in Canada, Health care concerns, high taxes or cost of living and other things (honestly your video was just hurting my head listing to). While Canada does have issues (like any other country in the world) What you outline highlights the privileged life you are living. You are correct in pointing out that the health care system is flawed, it is not perfect by all means but AT LEAST YOU ARE GETTING HEALTH CARE. Take the stats for example (I had the privilege of going to the hospital in Texas) My bill came to 3000 for a twisted ankle. They charged me over 500 dollars just for walking into the hospital. I'm not knocking that stats, but if you do not have money, you're fucked for health care. Instead of waiting 8 hours to see a doctor, you're now on Web MD trying to diagnose yourself. You are bitching about high taxes, how do you think Schools, Police and fire services, Emergency service hospitals etc etc etc get paid? through wishes and hope? You are again welcome to go anywhere else and enjoy whatever bs they have going they might have low taxes in other parts of the world but your going to have to pay for certain services you are taking for granted here. As Cost of living, if you live in Toronto or BC yes the cost of living is high, but at the same time, the average household income is high as well. I'm sorry minimum wage in most of Canada is roughly 15 dollars an hour, and the average incoming for most provinces is over 100k. I'm not sure what else to say on that subject :D As for things to do, seriously, stop living under a rock. Please go and travel Canada, to name a few things you can travel to Niagara, Go to Banff, Visit hot springs or enjoy any of our national parks. Not to mention all the multicultural festivals that take place. I guess what I'm trying to say here is, Canada is flawed and has its issues. However, It's a beautiful country and is a gem of a place to put roots down. I'm sorry you guys didn't feel that way.

Me bhi ek sikh jatt family ko belong karta hu( but not Amritdhari( I didn’t drink holy water) to me kangha kirpaan dharan nhi krta hu. Yahan pe punjab me sikh( nihangs) dharam ka galat fayda utha ke tanashaahi kr rhe hai aaj kl. Kisi police wale ka haath kaat dena kabhi kuch . I don’t think i feel safe with my own religion people(especially nihangs). Koi bhi dharam koi bhi religion kabhi bhi kisi insaan ki jaan se uper nhi hota, rules humaari safety ke liye bante hai. So plz follow your religious practices at your home( im only talking about the kirpaan/shri saheb)

I am planning to leave Canada in 4 years. I don't feel respected by the country. We are overpaying for health care like you mentioned. A lot of laws and rules are non-sense. Our justice system is corrupt. I really think Quebec and Alberta should separate from Canada. This country has been falling apart since the Liberal party got elected.

We've moved to Halifax from Toronto, been a few years now(originally from Seoul). We feel very satisfied here in every aspects, people are nice and things are getting better.

I know that the actions seen out here in the video is kind of an extrem, but I believe whatever measures were taken it was for the welfare of keeping everybody safe in which my Sikh brother had no bad intentions but it was all an honest mistake.  According to my understanding he could've worn the Kripan under his T-shirt.. no disrespect to nobody but I'm here with all my Love and Respect to all.. \nAnd He being out of India.. people might have heard or know about Sikhism but respectively being in a totally different country it'll be a cultural shock to some of its fellow country's residents and that too he is in an educational environment or zone where a lot of unfortunate events had occur in the past few years due to violence.. so taking these reasons and unfortunate incidents under consideration.. our dear Sikh brother did not do anything wrong in openly carrying a Kripan (knife) for it is his cultural right and had gone some kind of a rituals in order to carry a Kripan for self-defense. But people will still feel some kind of uneasiness when it comes to weapons seen in and around educational area or zones. \nSo whatever measures had been taken for the safty of all.. especially by the security as he was doing his job by understanding the situation. No heard feeling to nobody but I just wanted to get my point across regarding this incident. N I know my Sikh brothers n sisters will definitely come to an agreement of understanding in what I'm trying to say..

As a Muslim I feel pain for him. Becoz look at his face how much he feel insulted and traumatized that he did not do anything just he is following his religion and he got arrested just for wearing kirpan and that even kirpan is allowed to wear in all over world for sikh. And look at the University they just issued apology and they just come clear.

We can't allow weapons in the garb of religion. This part of religion jas to be followed strictly within the premises of the religious body. This way nobody has to hurt the sentiments and culture and nobody else feels threatened

Yea, in order to be in this religion, you must wear a weapon everywhere you go despite how any other human being feels around you.
