So if you were in such a dire situation, dont you think you would do anything to get out? The only solution i see is if the entire world could be under a larger, strong governing force that keeps leaders in check and can withold vital resources from offenders. The UN isnt cutting it.

With regards to the testing of the woman wearing the hijab and the niqab I was pleasantly surprised that she got as much support as she did when wearing the niqab. Racism will never be gone because it's a normal part of humanity. It goes back to when we were hunter/gatherers and for safety you stayed with those like you. In the modern world it gets twisted and used for hatred. So really racism isn't the problem , hatred is.

I have some prejudice about certain people and topics and I stereotype of course. It's an automatic thing for humans to do. We immediately assess everything and anyone around us. That's normal. Now, what isn't normal is going out of your way to violate the rights of any human being or to harass them in any manner. Obviously we can't help what we think and what is in our heads but we can control whether or not we act on these things. Fortunately most of us do not act on our thoughts, but some people do.

In general, people are not given to searching very hard for the truth. Being sinners, we humans are concerned with what pleases us-------the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, as the Bible tells us. All this is sin, 'for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God' (Romans 3:23, New Testament). But islam so obviously uses religion to justify and cover up sin! Therefore those who are not brainwashed by it should be able to see through it, that it is a system of lies and oppression. \n\nIt is understandable when leaders of countries steeped in islam go along with it. I think honestly the Islamic face covering when the lady was collecting made people uncomfortable because as humans we read each others facial expressions. Also in the western world the face covering tends to be a symbol of how women are mistreated in the Middle East. Of course the people who commented those rude things were obviously bigoted but the ones who just walked by & didn't donate just prob felt uneasy.

If wearing a nikab or hijab or burka was a sign of respect and honor, we would all be walking around wearing bed sheets over our heads. That fact that only women are required to cover up is exactly why it is discriminating and a sign of male chauvinism by the muslim community and islam. Having grown up in the midwest of the USA, I find it offensive and oppressive to women to see them hiding under or behind a cloth garment. Talk to anyone who specializes in communication and you will quickly understand that there are many non-verbal communications from facial expressions that contribute to the way we humans communicate with each other. To suppress these facial expressions is like seeing without color and in black and white only. This is a fact of life and not open to debate.

I do appreciate what was said in the show but there other types of discrimination by employers, landlords, stores. It can be how you dress, how you wear your hair, what colour your hair is, if you have tats. For employers, your medical history: I was refused a job at a bank because my grandfather was epileptic and it was thought that I might have the problem. When looking for an apartment or house it really all depends on the owners frame of mind on that particular day, not your references. So it is invasive in all of our lives. Human nature is not all good.

I'm a Canadian and I think it okay for them to wear what they want and they have a right to seek safety....they are humans too

White supremacy have a different mentality far away from general cultural populous. & what’s curious how they morph their truly discriminative behaviour, they could be nice and friendly at the same time depending the circumstances. \nThey believe that people of color no matter if you are Chinese, African, Latino, native etc. “Should be below their shoulders” they believe that other races don’t belong in their pack, meaning; that they oversee their communities with their own genre unless you have monetary to influence their hysteria. They see dark color people with mental inabilities - Lack of harmonious duties of sophistication. Many of them see danger when see a colored human being. Many of the white supremacists believe that their society is in jeopardy with the global cultural changes & feel the need to reclute or involve others to their mental frame.

Regarding the girl who received less while wearing the veil than when wearing nothing/ a hijab: Don't get me wrong the things some poeple said to her were horrible, but i think its just natural that someone would be more willing to donate to someone whose face is clearly visible as they could be more sympathetic towards them based on their expressions and such. After all, would you donate to someone who was wearing a hockey mask or a balaclava? (I'm not implying that these are in any way the same, but remember that the Qaran does not state that they have to wear a full veil, just some food for thought). Some may argue that this intrudes on basic human facial expressions to one another.) Not only can people feel uneasy when they see someone in a burqa, but it can also be dangerous to the very person underneath it. The burqa isolates women from others and can hide evidence of abuse or assault. It advocates segregation of muslim women in public, which is blatant discrimination within itself, whichever way you look at it!!!

This might be similar, but a little different. I've been language profiled before, just for speaking my mother tongue. I'm bilingual, english is a second language to me but welsh is my first and primary language. There's a notion that that some languages are redundant, not even worth speaking or learning. \n\nSometimes being different is a good thing, but why do people mock us for being ourselves?\n\nIt's not how a person looks that counts it's the who they are as an individual that counts. \n\nQ: Get rid of the label that you pin on someone, what else do you have left?\n A: a human being, who has more in common with us than we thought. Believe it or not people are interesting. Diversity in life, cultural backgrounds & experience makes life fun!
