US more Liberty, Canada more Safety

Hard to comprehend the journey some of these people are on. Not only finding their way to the uS illegally but even making it to Canada illegally. Not to mention the countries before. Tens of Thousands of kilometers. The trauma they must have suffered to be this motivated I can't even imagine.

I'm all for people coming here to Canada, as long as they get a job, pay their taxes and keep their noses clean. Priority should be given to anyone with specialized training like doctors and trades. Honestly just about every doctor I've ever seen was originally from India or was Asian. I just don't want to have a translator to understand them, we need more people like that with some kind of education and training.

WHY don’t they go to another South American company, where they speak the same language? O that’s right, the USA and Canada have all kinds of Social programs. In NYC they are given hotel rooms, served three meals a day, even given laundry cards. O AND, they are given City jobs, uniforms included. If Canada or the US were to charge a fee for permission to remain the revenue would be astounding! I can't think of one immigrant that would refuse to pay a $500 monthly fee to remain and work freely in either country. It has been suggested many, many times. The amount of revenue generated would exceed that of the tax revenue we currently have in place for common Americans by 2030. Why Republicans don't allow this? Because the conditions and rules that most be followed like, no felonies would optimally change the face of who they portrayed them to be.

Canada has been the good neighbor to the US for since the border was erected, rather than penalizing the people crossing from countries that are dictated to, perhaps they could help our drug addicts, our over worked parents, help our over worked nurses and doctors, if we can't fix other countries best we can do is help who wants to leave them for improved lifestyle choices.

The difference in cost of living (Canada being higher) I think has become a problem. Also, everyone in the US doesn't have to live in NY or LA, so we can decide on a more affordable city to live in. It might not be as cosmopolitan as NYC or TO, but at least you can afford a home. My Mom was born in Ontario in the 20's, and migrated to the US in the 40's for lack of work. In the 80's, I would have loved to have moved to TO... even had girlfriends there, but doors just wouldn't open. Get in if you can, but if you take away the epidemic of U.S. gun violence (wish we could...), then America is still a good place to live and is still a magnet destination for the world. Great video!

Think this video is grossly exaggerating the negatives of Canada. Have lived here most of my life and although Trudeau has been a disaster for the economy, Canada is still a great choice compared to so many shitty countries around the world.

It is true about all the laws and rules in Canada that interfere in your life. We lived in the Middle East for 5 years and could not believe the difference. Less laws, less rules, less annoyance. It was great. We lived in Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait (though Kuwait had a bit more rules that made life hard mostly when it came to owning a car if you were a foreigner). Also, the weather. Yes, it is very hot in the Middle East but we loved that. I hate the cold here in Canada and there is no guarantee that summer is going to be warm and sunny, so it is hit or miss. Most people who say Canada is the greatest country in the world, have never lived in any other part of the world and therefore, really cannot be sure of their statement.

Canada is what you would call an enabler when it comes to druggies and crazy people. You can have Canada and their liberal and policed country. At one time is was a great country. I lived there once and went back and forth for 30 years and watched the government get worse and worse. The people are great but the government is not. I watched it deteriorate over 30 some years and now the liberals got a strangle hold on it and they are chocking it to death. Beautiful country but the woke liberals have destroyed it. I managed to buy land and build brand new beautiful house in a sub urb in Victoria in just 500K AUD. many people are leaving Canada now. here are keys where Australia outperforms Canada; salary, benefits, weather, health care, military and we have superannuation here in Australia where the Goverment does save money for you. ticket prices from Aus to Philippines are significantly way more cheaper than Canada. I can go home to Philippines in just 300 AUD and it's a back and forth air trip. I got my PR here in Australia in just a year. I will never never ever leave Australia for Canada...
