Wait but I thought that Venezuela was a gun free zone you would think they would love it it there because the normal civilians can’t protect themselves I mean own fire arms. Everyone is asking why do they want to leave so bad because despite all the gun regulations and laws put into place normal Venezuelans are being killed by the government by the police by the gangs and can’t even protect themselves without becoming a criminal in the process. North Americans aren’t very far from this reality we close our eyes to.

Been to Canada once. I really liked it while I was there but that was 9 years ago. Seeing the government going communist I would not want to live there. Let's do some basic life, right now unless your well educated and already had money from family, you need a job that pays at the very least 15 and hour and work a minimum of 60 hours a week to pay for a house and enough food to eat once or twice a day, don't say fast food, because when I was 12 you could get two burgers a drink and fries for like 3 something, now the same order is 10 to 12 that's down in Mississippi, notch that up the further north you go. Now on to housing, cheapest hotels or apartments that you can actually stay and sleep in without fear of disease from the bed, if your lucky 650 to 800, the average is 925. Houses! Rent to own, cheapest with ok credit, 900 to 1200 a month's for a double wide trailer or one bedroom one bathroom one person house

It's too many people coming into the United States. Highly overcrowded. The US needs to start taking care of their own citizens first. There's homeless Americans right here that are citizens, there are hungry people right here in the US that are American citizens. They need to start helping their own first. These Americans should not be without anything. And then United States is quick to help other states before they help they own. It's really a shame. And half the people that come here from other countries don't even like Americans. There shouldn't be not one homeless American citizen in America. The country has billions and billions of dollars and they should be able to house their own citizens.

Being an Indian this neighborhood looks like some creepy lanes to me without a single life I will die of loneliness if I ever have to live in such countries. May such high class lifestyle is not for me I m very happy in India where you can see people everywhere ?

It never used to be as long as this in the UK, it is because it is congested now, when I came the UK, I came as a student and getting a permanent stay wasn’t as tough as now. You just come without obtaining visa as a visitor. Canada will become like the UK after sometime, for now they want it to be like the UK in terms of being a multicultural and multinational community. As for Scotland they are trying to encourage people to come and settle there.

It's unconscionable that we've invited people to come to Canada without actually following through on the promise we made to them in the first place. Was it all just sloganeering designed to appeal to liberal progressive NIMBYers? Was there ever any intent on actually doing something for these poor people beyond a sound bite or photo op? \n\nThe solution to migration because of war, terror, famine and so on is not by opening up the borders and allowing everyone in, the solution to mass migrations (over 100 million worldwide) is to tackle the conditions that make such migrations necessary. Almost without exception, each one of these migrant/refugee situations are the result of political problems that have to be tackled in those countries where the conditions exist. There are over 100 million people fleeing conditions that make life unbearable, even if we wanted to, how are we to take them all into North America? How does anyone propose we do that, and even if we could manage it somehow, another 100 million would show up on our doorstep next year...or next week...it's simply not possible or reasonable to expect us to be overwhelmed by wave after wave of the poor unfortunate. The solutions to war and famine abroad can't be found here and we need to make it plain that people who live in such conditions must first rise up to help themselves. We can and should help, politically, through foreign aid and individual donations (North Americans are among the most generous donators after all), and even militarily where feasible or possible. The UN and other coalitions of nations, must each take up the burdens before people smugglers take it up for them. We have our own problems to deal with here and I'm not willing to vote for promises made that were never meant to be kept.

If we had an immigration program where after passing a background anyone can join a roving us work immigration camp where for 5 years they’ll work and get free education afterwards so they can save and pick up american work and life culture. \nFor 5 years every new migrant will be building roads, laying water and electric lines and building homes and neighborhoods. This will bring cost of living way down here in the USA while doing a faster better job of Americanizing our newcomers. We would be able to rise our population level really fast without harming the American white picket fence dream. \nLastly the program won’t be available for just migrants, our own people can get guaranteed work if they would like to join the program.

Having said the apartment is being monitored by CCTV but not true really the superintendent not only broke into my rented apartment at 164 Madison Avenue TNT and stole my stuff but also hit the floor at unit 205 repeatedly in midnites also (the landlord said without having he moved to another unit or else where) through my repeated complaints too to such low education bad and shameful attitudes ugliness types and nasty type the landlord also just ignored my complaints not to mention the policies also ignored these low worst class of such life assaults fierce impacts in Toronto! I mean this is sad and I feel for them, however most people in this case would blame Americans or American govt. we have a lot of our own problems as well. These people are going through something but why? But why are they even going through it in the first place. From what I'm reading from Venezuelans in the comments is that this whole situation could have been avoided if they had something similar to the second amendment.
