The main difference between the US and Canada is wealth building attitude. In the US when someone builds wealth others just want to know how you did it. In Canada others just get jealous. Canada is the second largest county in the world and ample natural resources including sharing about 20% of the worlds fresh water. Canada does have a past of oppression of natives and had chattel slavery. Canada has so much potential for greatness, True North!

I'm Jamerican and i visited Canada years ago. Nice homes, clean. True it was boring and bad weather but we have many issues here in Amerikkka too. Everywhere you go you have issues you have to weigh your options. Pick your battles.

Please Don't Judge Canada by Toronto. I have lived an hour away from Toronto my whole life and I hate the place. It does not represent us at all.

Canada is a very desirable place. I believe the American government should enter into negotiations with the English crown to purchase those lands.

Canada is too soft facist for me.

not have to lock your doors? I live in Canada and no one I know follows that advice unless they live outside the city.

Canada is my dream country. Want to travel to USA. Love from Bangladesh.??♥️????

Quebec would be the VERY last place in Canada I would want to live. Lived there for several years, and it's the most racist province in Canada.
2023-01-20 0
I'm. From the American south, how is racism in Canada in comparison
2023-01-19 0
City v city Canada might be better but county living I will stick with American. And we can say what we want & own guns.

In general, most of the claims are invalid in their roots. There, Canada is compared to different, cherry-picked countries, without any understanding of “WHY those differences exists”.\n\nCouple examples: \n- internet is more expensive(than in some countries) because of low density of population and enormous areas to cover.\n- “waiting lists” for medical procedures are to balance healthcare spendings(from taxes) with the real need in those: if your condition is urgent, you’ll get everything you need instantly.\n- tax system is, in fact, one of the best in the world: it pushes awareness and responsibility to Canadians, while in the same time keeping most of it on businesses(employers) and allowing great flexibility in tax deduction/returns.\n\nAnd so on and so forth…

I hear Canada has a (swarm) of girls going around killing homeless people. yeah, no thanks.

Wait until you need physical therapy in Canada, the govt gonna hit you with that Low Tier God plan.

(most of) Canada is a large U.S. state with a European government.

Montreal is not Canada though. But it’s better

Definitely agree with the stupid pricey flights within Canada. Also agree with warm southern hospitality in the US, lived in TN, SC, GA and the people were so warm. \nThe thing about Canadian politics being boring might not be such a bad thing LOL. So people vote are less likely to vote based on the personalities but maybe more about the policies. Also less hate between parties (that might be changing bec of Trudeau...)\nAnd yes I am very grateful that one can drink tap water here in Canada and it tastes good. Sometimes the everyday little things are the biggest gifts.
2023-01-17 0
Bro you think Canada city tap water is good, go to Banff or Jasper. The tap water pulls right from glacier rivers and is the most delicious stuff out there. You could prolly bottle and sell it for 5$ a bottle.

It always makes me laugh when I see some Canadians acting like it's some oppressive communist regime with no opportunity up here. Out of all the places I travelled to, I'm glad that I live in Canada. We're livin' on easy mode compared to many other countries
2023-01-17 0
Very interesting pov. I completely agree, especially with Montreal. I'll say the weather in America is preferable to Canada
2023-01-17 0
Better tap water? Well of course. All y'all do in Canada is just stick a spigot straight into those glaciers y'all live in. Everyone knows glacial water is da' bomb.

As an Australian in fkn Australian summer I fantasize about being in Canada where the sun won't scorch my skin off my bones
2023-01-17 0
05:42 YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES! I'm from the states, NJ to be exact. Before starting nursing school I visited Canada during the summer. I stayed in Montreal and visited Quebec (I had a bit of culture shock being in Montreal because of how CLEAN the city was. Compared to places like Philadelphia and NY). Without a doubt the quality of food is different in Canada vs. the states. For the first time I ate Nox for breakfast in Montreal (Salmon with cream cheese on a bagel) and was like wow this is good! When I ate it back home, the taste, texture was different. \n\nMontreal Nox tastes like and had the texture of salmon. Where as in the US it's like mushy and a bit jellish.

The problem with Canada is your woke leader, that's the major difference which I really can't talk about this year so I'll wait until 2024 and hope we get a better leader than Brandon!
2023-01-17 0
I’ll put Canada tap water against Detroit’s anyway .
2023-01-17 0
ARE YOU TALKING SMACK ABOUT usa WHILE LIVING IN A communist COUNTRY LIKE CANADA ? STAY IN CANADA THEN AND LEAVE OUR BEST NATION IN THE WORLD ALONE. BUB
2023-01-17 0
Aba n Preach release this JUST after I broke up with my Canadian long distance ex-boyfriend (I’m in the US). Maybe this is a sign for the better. I don’t think he could ever live in the US. And there’s nothing for me out in Canada.

You guys let me know when Canada will let me travel with the new flamethrower attachment for my AK47. Though tbh I was considering getting an AR15 for it instead I just think the ascetic is nicer. With a nice double drum 100 round magazine.
2023-01-17 0
You guys hit every topic perfectly. I am from the islands, and I live in the US, Texas yall ?I agree with everything especially the food part. I try to support local businesses and I was able to find some awesome 'whole in the wall' spots that I frequent. Even traditional island food. Don't get me started on the tap water. I live in a small city and the tap water is bleh. My one goal is to visit Canada on day. I have friends who have family that live there and I always hear good things.

kinda surprised you did not mention the hospital service in Canada as one of the main things.

The education system in Canada is somewhat better. It is getting a bit SJW now but still...
