Funny how the Media takes what is real And twists the story to the people .......This guy was NOT an Immigrant This is an Illegal Alien that lied and smuggled him And others into the USA and was there for many years And left the USA by Smuggling once again himself and others into a 2nd country So he has lied Im sure has false documents And one of the reasons he was denied How was he able to work with an expired permit? Taxes? so there is a few more broken laws And if he hurts himself ..The tax payer flips the bill ........And while you might think I'm racist His country has not less that 15 other countries around his ...Any yet they flock to the USA And Canada ...It has nothing to do with how nice And proud it would be to be an American Or Canadian They want our way of life They want to be Equal Untill They are required to lose something like a turban riding a motorcycle instead of a hulmult Then gets into a crash And yup You pay the brain injury bills ...There is a counsel trying to slowly get Punjab words on city street names And products in an Ontario city that has more Indian residents than any other culture While complaining to the city of overcrowded parks And the garbage in them..Overcrowded and polluted Now where have i heard that before....

Quebec is cheaper in comparison to the rest of Canada.

Unfortunately, box stores take over small towns and cities in rural Canada as well. There are still mom-and-pop shops, but they're fewer and further between. Shopping local is harder than ever with inflation, but if you can support even with a cup of coffee from a small business instead of Tim Hortons or Starbucks, you'd be helping out.

I grew up in Canada much of my life. My family immigrated to Ontario more\nThan 30 years ago , where the cost of living was manageable and health care was excellent, minimum wage was $6/ hr but you can still save and buy a house in Ontario. Cost of living increases yearly while income stays relatively the same. Post pandemic the cost of living is outrageous, particularly now in Nova Scotia. The last province where you could buy your dream home on the beach/ocean for 80K-200K. Now it’s impossible to fine affordable housing so people are forced to live in shares accommodation in tiny apartments / home. The highest tax on your income and plus taxes on goods/services. \n\nI also agree on the depression and loneliness and boredom … you do have to put effort if you want a social life. \n\nHaving said this, living in small rural towns is very peaceful if you want to live a low key life and just be with nature. \n\nOn the plus side. The summer here is short but very beautiful with long daylight (sunrise at 6am and sunset at 9:30-10pm depending where you live). \n\nWinter is the hardest if you are a tropical kinda person who loves the sun and heat. Best solution is to stay in Canada for summer and live elsewhere in the winter.

Then why are you LIVING in Canada?\nHow would you attract people to come to your Country; if you only point out the negative side of what your Country offers. This is why their is no growth in investments because people like yourselves do not think twice about what harm it can do to your future.

Hello Sir . I am from Kolkata and I got a work experience in genuine BPO (call centre) for 2.5 months , is there any chance for me to get a job in Canada.

canada the MOST boring country in the world.

I’m Canadian and married to an American, and of the two countries we’ve lived in, we’ve decided to plant our roots and raise our kids in Canada. For a lot of the reasons you two hit on, and for some you didn’t. Education, opportunities, cleanliness, etc. I hated waking up in the morning and watching people dumpster diving next to my apartment and thinking, I can’t let my kids go out and play on the little 10x10 piece of grass in front of my parking lot. I felt like my financial situation was limited to minimum wage even though inflation and cost of living was skyrocketing. Americans think they’ve got the best of everything until they travel to other parts of the world.

there's more people in California than all of Canada. I think a better comparison would to group American states together in compare them to Canada like Maine Connecticut etc

Man after watching this I'm feeling I'm better of India! Everything is so easy is here! Why is this country called developed if everything is so primitive! UPI is like God of all financial technology! Canada seems 30 years behind India!

In general the cost of living is much higher in Canada than it is in the United States about 30% higher

I know it's not 100% safe in Canada. I've watched Murdoch Mysteries! ???\n\nYeah, when I moved to a city city, I saw the segregation. I grew up in a small town. I was friends with everyone. We didn't have a lot Indians and Africans though sadly. In school, with the exception of Asians, unless you're going by specific country, there was a token (poc) for each ethnicity in all the classes until roughly Junior high. So sad. We got rid of segregation in the south, but we didn't get rid of segregation in the country.

Only SK and AB is the best of Canada! The rest are just liberal suckers! Literally sucks the life out of you! Like their Leader Justin Sucker!

I am from the Northeast and went to Canada as a teen for the George Bernard Shaw Festival and I was amazed by how clean the area was. People leave trash everywhere here and it only has gotten worse. Not only that, but I uses to work at a hotel in my area and would assist with breakfasts and the cleanest, most polite people I ever assisted were from Canada. Other visitors from the states would leave trash, syrup, cereal, dirty paper plates everywhere... Canadians cleaned up after themselves. Shout out to Canadians!

Flight is so stupid in Canada. Paid 500$ for Montreal/New York. And I paid 30$ for Bordeaux/London, 20$ for Bordeaux/Malta. For people who like traveling a lot, Montreal is so restricting.
2023-01-17 0
Quebec is completely different in rent prices, I wouldn’t believe that our cost of living in Canada is significantly better than the states.

I've considered leaving the U.S. more this year than ever, even though I really do love it. With the inflation, politics, and lack of work life balance for anyone I don't think the place I grew up in will last. Tbh I've never considered Canada, the government overreach and propaganda there seem insane to me

I lived in the Philippines for 27 years and we always lock our houses even when we're inside the house coz people (junkies, psychopaths, crazies) just force themselves inside and try to mug us for our belongings and we can't even report it because some u police are crooked, lazy and corrupt. But once i migrated to winnipeg (considered as the murder capital of Canada), i felt safer, believe it or not. I tend to forget locking/closing my garage door and once i come back, everything's still there, nothing gone, considering that i live in the north end (one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in winnipeg). Plus, everyone's just so damn friendly and welcoming. Love it here! But i still prefer living in the Philippines despite being not as safe. Home will always be home.

As a person that moved from Arkansas to canada 6 years ago and has traveled the world I can confirm everything they said is factual especially what preach said bout them new york women

Canada just took away guns for all citizens as they forcibly shut down the peaceful trucker protest. They are punishing Jordan Peterson for free sp. Canada,it’s government, sucks. Ours is even more corrupt, but yours is more tyrannical, for now.

Canada has some bad shorties, but thats cause they abuelas from all over the world. We got bad shorties here too they just segregated like Aba said.

In 1986 I went to Toronto and was out to see a friend in an upper middle class neighborhood. Their dog got loose late one night and I was chasing it down the street…some cops rolled up and asked if I needed any help, and I said no. They left. Th at would not have happened in some white areas in Los Angeles then. They would have thrown the dog a Billy club and they all would have been beating in me! I almost moved to Canada right then!

The only good tap water in the states is in central Iowa, I've never been to Canada but I've never been able to drink tap water outside of central Iowa not even the whole state

Yo! Gave me a little flashback. I took an Air Canada plane to Boot Camp. Fuckin Prop plane from the 50's, like still got ashtrays. Plus a hole in the side of that bitch.\nAlso goes to show how broke the Marine Corps is when you're flying in America on a Canadian Airline. I don't know how they did it.

USA has whole neighborhoods that are crappy, Canada has pockets. Edmonton, Alberta, around 2006-2008 was nicknamed Deadmonton, not only cause winter is terrible, but because it had the highest murder rate per capita in all of North America. That said, it is a great city.

Canada actually has a higher economically mobility rating. It’s better to be poor in Canada than in America
2023-01-17 0
While the cost of living is higher in the U.S., they do make more on average so I'm not sure I'd say Canada is significantly better in that regard. On that note though, it's probably better to be poor in Canada than in the U.S.
2023-01-17 0
You can compare a “small” country like Canada despite the large inhabitable land mass to the BIG BIG UNITED STATES OF AMERICA… it’s disrespectful to us ??
2023-01-17 0
?I'm American, grew up next to Canada and have worked in Europe for years. This conversation is about 90% bullshit - these places are essentially the same. They all have fast food. They all have their own crime issues and transportation issues. Their health care systems are all dysfunctional, all complained about and ranted against _constantly,_ until they have to be stubbornly defended against criticism by some foreigner for egotistical, xenophobic reasons. Not one of them is measurably better or worse than any of the others. It's all a lot of self-important fucking nonsense.
2023-01-17 0
Regarding flight prices, you'd be right if you were talking a few years ago but there are budget airlines in Canada now. You can fly Toronto to Edmonton round trip for under $200.
2023-01-17 0
Sounds like life in major cities might indeed be better in Canada, and I wouldn't be surprised. I think major cities in the US blow. I like to avoid them when possible. \n\nI don't know if I agree on the food though. You can find spots pretty easy in most places, and I have been to some serious backwaters.
2023-01-17 0
Can´t speak for Canada, but it´s pretty similar to a lot of places in Europe and America. I´ve lived in the states and currently live in Germany and I´m happier here for the same reasons mentioned. Food, public transportation, safety, water quality...
2023-01-17 0
Nah. New York tap water is on another level compared to the other states. But I’ve been to Canada. And the tap water is something else
2023-01-17 0
I mean I can get that I guess and understand but Canada is not for me with all that stuff that's not here in the U.S.A. yet.\n\n\n\n\nIs all I'm sayin but the more I think about it long term I might change my mind.
2023-01-17 0
There is no country more similar to America than Canada. I've lived in many different Countries throughout my life however my experiences in the states and Canada were very similar. The only major difference was safety and in Canada, there is not as much classism. If your poor in America its going to suck however you will have it much easier in Canada. I think if you got money America is a better nation for you. However if your poor/low middle class Canada is a better place for you. But overall I find both nations to be very similar culturally. In my view, Americans and Canadians are essentially the same people.
2023-01-17 0
The worst parts of Canada are the best parts of America. Toronto is getting bad but that's the closest you will get to New York and L.A. in Canada
2023-01-17 0
from detroit.. lived in atl for awhile.. now in colorado.. CANADA wins every time ?
2023-01-17 0
BROAD STROKES. Been to Europe several times not to Canada yet but I feel like Canada shares a lot of culture and lifestyle with Europe. You guys are painting one of the biggest countries on earth very generally. I get it, it’s a lot to cover but you’re better off comparing individual states/cities vs Canada. Canada has a population less than California lol like fammmm. \nJust think about this… Toronto and Brooklyn (which isn’t even a city mind you) have nearly the same population…

Do they have black women in Canada.? Would that mak me a passport bro if snatched one up and brought her back to the states.?
2023-01-17 0
Well....that's what happens when Canada's population is about the same as Texas ??‍♂️??‍♂️. More people= more problems. Also, isnt it like 90% of Canadaians are primarily living in one to 2 areas? So Im not surprised on the cost difference, crime difference, etc. I like Canada but in comparison, it's smaller so less chance of issues. Especially in a first world country
2023-01-17 0
The best part of America isn't the cities, although I'd guess that's the same about Canada. The only part of Canada I've been to is British Columbia above Glacier National Park and it was lovely. The best cities in America weren't mentioned: San Diego, Boise, Pittsburg, Salt Lake, Austin, etc.
2023-01-17 0
I almost wanna go to Canada just for the Tap Water.
2023-01-17 0
Bro you couldn't live in a lot of other states with out a car...Try Iowa..you literally picked a state that's basically a island you could walk across...come guys...and literally it's less diverse in Canada...it's funny when people say that places are safer cause there are less POC when you are a person of color???it's about culture and how you raised... environment matters...what's the rate of single parents in Canada?...just saying Americans have issues with accountability and taking any

Just be careful. Every single opinion you posted can get your license yanked in Canada evidently. Just ask Jordan Petersen.
