It’s interesting watching the superpower of the last century slowly erode before our eyes. I read about the decline of the western Roman Empire and how over the course of give or take 150 years it eventually fell. But Americas fall seems to be happening much faster. I don’t see how you could claim America will still be the leading superpower in 50 years with the way things are going

My family and I came here over 20 years ago. We have done everything!. Taxes my family opened their own business they have been a example of a American people. We even met people who are maga hats but loved my family because their humble ways but also how welcoming they are. Now this people are fucking entitled! I came to this country and slept in a room with 14 people. This people want their own rooms ,housing for one family. We can't even afford it here ourselves... Try to get your country back under control if possible. There is already so much competition right now in Denver that I will need a wife to afford to buy a home here. It is ridiculously hard to get a home here unless you make $100k a year and were sent here from California with $50-100k support from their families, us normal people cannot compete with that.

As a native Venezuelan who legally immigrated to the United States, served in the Navy for 22 years, and became a U.S. Citizen, and a contributing member of society, watching this enrages me. No one has the right to come into any country illegally. I get their plight, but they still need to enter correctly. I know Venezuela's situation is terrible, but either fix it (by whatever means you have) or apply for asylum. Forcing yourself into a sovereign nation is illegal.

Tag each one of those people that cross the bridge like that end put a 10 year wait on their lawful entry form

When my father's parents immigrated to the USA he had just turned 9 years of age. My grandfather was a gynecological physician and an anesthesiologist. Grandpa had something to offer USA for that citizenship. \n\nBut these Venezolanos are trying to escape the tyranny which is their government. It is a difficult situation for them and for USA. \n\nPerhaps a solution might be helping to identify better places for them to go? This is a joke ! The same thing by the Canadian Border. People can't just come across the border but blame the US. If they took the border that serious they would have finished it years ago. I have a fix to all this. Make every American that came from a legit system, and grand parents, and parents who came legally back 4 generations count only and offspring.. No Tno anchor babies allowed from anyone who came illegally past 4 generations, record department can validate all this. All natural born and maybe been legally also count. Ok, everyone mentioned get mandated to wear a tamper proof wristband linked to ownership and picked up from the DMV and the bands are electronically active for six months, if cut it sends a signal RFID signal for warranted arrest. Everyone with a band can go to work, shop, travel and it's only temporary for 6 months then gets legally removed. All illegals can register on the way out and need grabbed to cube back through the front door if they have no violent or theft charges or rape/assault felonies. Temp residents/work Visas get a band too. Bring in NATO and our military to start operation clean sweep, we offer bus rides back and ditched air flights back to what ever country you can't from, the sweep comes from N.S.E.W. circling in..if caught after having a chance to leave and didn't you will have a index finger on left hand cut off as a marker for being a invader to our homeland along with a RFID microchip embedded into the wrist bone, the chip will signal in the future if you even get with in 500 miles to border and all airports coming into America. Solar drones charge and patrol the border in drives 24/7. All who participated can get in line to come back as long as clean record mentioned prior. Finish the wall using 9 billion dollars we save each year by removing All illegal from our prisons and send them back chipped and marked by missing finger...THIS IS THE ONLY ONLY ONLY WAY TO EVER CLEAN AMERICA UP!!!!! As a Venezuelan that migrated here through all the legal process 9 years ago. We completely DISAGREE with people doing this. There is a legal process for everybody period. Respect your local country's laws if you want to be treated with respect.

Legally I’m not even gonna early and the people that are already here illegally. I emigrated here 22 years ago legally. Illegal immigration is a problem for everyone. I myself went to Canada legally through Person International Airport holding Canadian visa but it took several years for the Immigration Canada to look at my application while people my other country mates were entering Canada illegally, but their case approved and were granted status. I was very disappointed the reason at that time the Canadian Immigration minister was a Somalian and migrant who was against migration.

The agreement to close Roxham Road was signed a year ago - why has it taken this long to enact that rule? Maybe the 45,000 refugees that have managed to cross in that one year were courtesy of the liberal government but housed and fed etc. at the expense of the Canadian taxpayer - so Turdeau could maybe buy himself some more votes down the line - except he won't be running the show by the time they would be eligible to vote!
