Over half of all low income government housing is occupied by ILLEGAL ALIENS. It would be easy to deport these people but the government wants illegals not the US citizens.

We need to ask ourselves why are these people running from their homes. What do we need to do to help these people. Quick to go to war over lies and we are suppose to be a nation that cares. I don't want to let all them in our country because this is our land and we don't know these peoples intentions but can we stop $ laundering for war and redirect our nation to help or atleast investigate.

It never used to be as long as this in the UK, it is because it is congested now, when I came the UK, I came as a student and getting a permanent stay wasn’t as tough as now. You just come without obtaining visa as a visitor. Canada will become like the UK after sometime, for now they want it to be like the UK in terms of being a multicultural and multinational community. As for Scotland they are trying to encourage people to come and settle there.

If u dont want illegal immigrants here, then u should leave as well, because the ONLY people that ACTUALLY BELONG HERE, are native American indians... if your white, black, of middle eastern indian, u DEFINITELY dont beling here.

Please, please, please don’t let them through. It’s not about race and racism. It's unconscionable that we've invited people to come to Canada without actually following through on the promise we made to them in the first place. Was it all just sloganeering designed to appeal to liberal progressive NIMBYers? Was there ever any intent on actually doing something for these poor people beyond a sound bite or photo op? \n\nThe solution to migration because of war, terror, famine and so on is not by opening up the borders and allowing everyone in, the solution to mass migrations (over 100 million worldwide) is to tackle the conditions that make such migrations necessary. Almost without exception, each one of these migrant/refugee situations are the result of political problems that have to be tackled in those countries where the conditions exist. There are over 100 million people fleeing conditions that make life unbearable, even if we wanted to, how are we to take them all into North America? How does anyone propose we do that, and even if we could manage it somehow, another 100 million would show up on our doorstep next year...or next week...it's simply not possible or reasonable to expect us to be overwhelmed by wave after wave of the poor unfortunate. The solutions to war and famine abroad can't be found here and we need to make it plain that people who live in such conditions must first rise up to help themselves. We can and should help, politically, through foreign aid and individual donations (North Americans are among the most generous donators after all), and even militarily where feasible or possible. The UN and other coalitions of nations, must each take up the burdens before people smugglers take it up for them. We have our own problems to deal with here and I'm not willing to vote for promises made that were never meant to be kept.

Just remember u did nothing special to be born American. So you wouldn’t understand these people struggle! The American government caused the crisis in their country, so they want to come to get the opportunity that was taken from them by American government. Stop acting like u don’t understand this! U claim to know the temperature of a planet 100 trillion miles away from Earth but can’t seem to figure out the temperature of the Venezuela people? ?????. You stop that.

It's similar in the UK too.what pisses me off the most is the way these people think they are owed a good life but want it handed to them.they like us are owed NOTHING. People are coming over to the United States because of the food stamps checks.The government needs to stop the help or people are going to continue to come and once they get here they don't want to work the women declare them self with no husband to receive food stamps money.The young people don't want to work and the older people are tired of working.

The problem with accepting a lot of immigration from countries like Venezuela for example is that all the good people that have some influence flees the country, leaving tyrants to stay in power longer since most of the opposition fled the country. If they want to leave the country because of the elected government they have to stay over there and solve their problem. On top of that I have many friends who came to the U.S. because of the government but go back to their country every year for vacation. I am not against immigration, and if we are smart we can get more people working and contributing with taxes, I just don’t like the fact that most of this people are good people who fled their country to leave tyrants free to do whatever they want.

I realize a lot of people do not understand the world. As first generation American, i can say, 90% of Americans do not cherish their freedom.
