People must ask themselves a question that why western countries offer citizenship to Muslims knowing very well that their religious, cultural and social values are poles apart? GORA is very wise. He is looking at your 2nd and 3rd generations. He knows that they would be just like them in next 30 to 40 years. It is happening already in countries like UK and it will happen in Canada too. The price to be paid is very very heavy from Islamic point of view. Blue skies, fresh water, KHALIS milk and eatables, good governance, economic prosperity, all Is too little in this bargain. It is nice to go abroad for higher education or earning money but permanent citizenship meds lots of pondering.

a lot can be said about your narrative. you failed to mention the age of immigration. That alone is THE single most important factor on the out come of the exercise . anyone over 40 should not immigrate. second the education and skill set you bring will be a major factor in the out come. Third there is systemic racism after a certain level which one can feel in very job. i strongly believe one should come to Canada, get top quality education and skill, work with top quality people/organizations which should not be more than 5-6 years, then go back home. the long term price of immigration is huge. This country needs hands to work and pay taxes so that their show should go on. The BANKS are the GOD of the land. one can never obtain financial freedom ever. heavily taxed with very poor social bonding even among the same ethnic groups. yes its good for people who do not make it in Pakistan or bring in ill gotten money\ni know so many ex police DMG and others groups who are absconders from Pakistan and living in Oakvill etc. in addition who says it is safe here or it is a corruption free society, ANY body with a second mortgage has got it with fake documents with the help of brokers, the banks , CRA and every body know about it but being a highly HONEST society no one dare say a word! i will not even go into the thing called debt. it is a night mare for the vaste majority. remember Canada is much bigger than GTA

It's true, fair system CRA do not take Extra penny and do not give a extra penny incase if someone paid extra they will send you back later. Yes surviving jobs are reasonable but it's very tough it's not easy for bugging. Other thing still Pakistani people's have all the showoff how much you will get involve in community you will get in debt easilly and its very hard for a person to stay in limit as of social pressure specially for Pakistani families.About crime and theft yes people's are honest theft and steal is less than under developing countries but when you live in congested part of city crim rate and theft is still higher and it is a fact good and bad people's are every where. There is cruption found here on levels from Govt to other but little and due to fair system trials people's get caught easily. Last being a Muslim and Pakistani working lady I never found any thing happened wrong to my family and me due to my religion and culture.The community where I live they give respect to your culture and believes and people are very respectful and helping.

The tests with the three friends, I'm not saying the racism it exposed doesn't exist, but I'm curious if attractiveness or character plays a factor in this as well (or even more). Getting different rental prices is outrages. Being stalked in a store is just weird, but a couple of checks I wouldn't mind. If nothing ever happens that will stop. Being asked if you can be helped should not be an issue. Although I admit it can be annoying (I rather shop without interference), but as long as they ask politely, being offended by it is your own problem. As for the hiring part is this video, I believe there might be even more discrimination based on age. I like the idea of blind hiring when possible. Being rated on skills is in the best interest of any party. \n\nAs a society we're making good progress on a lot of levels. There is still ground to gain, but let's also celebrate what has already been achieved in the last couple of generations. Social media makes it look like it's only bad, but don't forget that bad news sells better than good news. And all companies (also news companies) want to make money.

The tax in Canada is not very high. At least compared to many other Western Nations. \nI came from Germany to Canada and the tax in Canada is a joke me according to me. Income tax with social contributions is roughly 42% even on average salaries in Germany. Sales tax is 19%. Cost for energy and fuel is almost ten times higher than in Canada.\nSure, Canada is pretty expensive. Housing, food and medication are massively overpriced compared to many at EU countries. I need medication every month and in Canada I pay roughly 180 Dollar while in Germany it was zero. Even without the health insurance I would only pay 30€ a month for that.\n\nOverall Canada is good, but doesn't necessarily offer a better quality of life. I only live here because I like Canadian people and the mentality is great.

There are case studies of the presence of both genitalia for a single baby. Then again, there are case studies of conjoined babies/infants. In 100% of the births there is cognitive evidence that a baby/infant was born.\n\nDoes that require us to remove categories of identification from our communication? I believe not. To mandate identity removal, in my opinion, gives authority outside of the individual and abdicates trust of one’s self in the ability to make individual decision and places authority in another fallible, human entity to make decisions of civil behavior that is in conflict with the individual spirit of what is good or evil. Even government employs the individual cognition, encouragement, and use of the human spirit to survive at the core. So, to advocate human spirit abdication fosters an inability to reason between good and evil. I am unwilling to admit that I am unable to reason.\n\nSimilarly, in performance of the social experiments, there’s missing clarity in being able to know what is in the mind of store representatives to want to assist the public with the decision-making process of a purchase versus profiling. Because, the flip-side is to avoid a person because of profiling. The belief of innocent until proven, not presumed guilty, is significant to maintaining civility.

well to be honest, a marketing guy said, that he has two appartments free on the first dude and one appartment free on the second dude.....isnt that.....good? would be better to switch the order of the visit. and the 10$ difference by a different contractor was probably mor elikly corruption by this guy than actual racism.\n\n\n\n\nthese test results dont show racial bias, but simply the facial recognision of your mind to identify white or black people, thereby have a greater cultural and social preference to come into contact with these people. the test actual showed never racism. its showes social stereotypical mindsets. to combine these stereotypes with claims, that are unjustified to a person is prejudging and by a racial mindset of reasoning its is racism.

Hopefully after this pandemic ends, Americans will question the need of employer based health insurance and their lack of social safety nets. What good is health insurance when you lose it when laid off.

I totally agree with you Lloyd Douglas and his column black in Canada. I find it to be swept under the carpet as far as racism is concerned, they smile in front of you but behind you they Stab you in the back .well the Americans is right up front I can work with you but I won’t socialize with you, at least you’re truthful.\n\n I find Canadians to be very two face , Hidden they true feeling and pretend a lot . I have experienced the first time in my life racism was within Canada and it brought me to tears. I live in America for so many years no one had ever call me the N word , I never felt so humiliated and lower my self-esteem. Immigration should have A system that will consider person's age when they enter Canada, good conduct, and financial status. She is not even dependent on the social funding, why not give her consideration? In fact she may be of help to the economy, as she is an entrepreneur and has value to the community.

The problem is the government didn't know how to make enough money in the country...... That's why they want more other people to do investment or have business in Canada in order to bring more money into the country. The fact is the social welfare is too good that government might not be able to afford that big spending. First, Government needs to know how to make money on their own, not depending rich immigrants. Second, encourage citizens to have baby by providing benefits for them, to boost the birth rate. Third, stop being so nice to refugee, stop importing refugee! The biggest problem of refugee is they don't make money to the country, they rely on social welfare heavily.

So as expected -- just reaction instead of pro-action by the FED. And this is with people from China !\n\nJust imagine all of those slick willys that have come over from the middle East in the last 5 or 6 years. To those who are against Islam, do educate yourselves and ACTUALLY read AUTHENTIC sites about Islam, meet Muslims and have a DECENT conversation with them, try to understand the religion and then make your decisions about it, don't decide that whatever you hear from social media is automatically 100% true, cuz, let's be real, it isn't always true. Also, remember that there are good muslims, bad ones, extremists and decent muslims. Not all muslims have the same perspective on islam, it depends on the way they are brought up into it. Also, not every muslim minds if you criticize islam, as long as it's in a respective way, like say how a sikh may question christianity or vice versa. There's a reason why Muslims make up a vast amout of the earth's population.

Canada has diversity which is good because we all can show our differences and interact socially but if you are diverse in a bad way to harm people you should not be let in a free country who has fought hard to gain freedom for decades!

I often make the simple response to the obsession with race and color, skin color is an illusion as well as even nationality and race .people who have scientific mind created all these names as well as for animals. Then I will be free to call my Of the human race,forget treating others as white,yellow,black,red,brown etc. Then I will invent my own scientific naming to a new name for all pet mammals A cuchy or mammalius d la plupus d cuchus or. fuzzy hairy small pet mammal. We humans often abuse this science power calling other human people derogatory racial names just to add insult to injury at each other. I am against any anti social behaviour. I would not tolerate this and am fully aware of civilian powers of arrest.I have a good relationship with Muslims and more importantly the local police.
