Being a proud Indian and living in NZ from a decade I can say it's not just the equality.\nThe amount of frauds we do in our visa application just to enter a foreign land, I can speak on behalf of NZ, makes it difficult for the next batch of applications coming from that region.\nI won't label that with racism because every country has the right to protect its borders. NZ, Aus in particular has a strong and proud Indian diaspora with more and more Indians successfully coming in every year. But we India as a large population has one of the most number of applications which also increases the chancesl of rejection.

Ma'am, when a country makes it harder for citizens of a particular country to enter their country, it is often because of the number of recorded incidents, crime from people from said country. If there is a higher rate compared to people from other countries, then it becomes harder. Let's be honest here... Indians don't have a good reputation abroad when it comes to such things... I'm half Nigerians and at least many Nigerians acknowledge why lately, it is harder for Nigerians to get a visa (Obv crime as well.) Has nothing to do with discrimination. Also, look at the state of Canada. Nigeria and India need to focus on bettering their citizens so that less people go abroad, which also reduces the chance of certain people doing crime, to avoid making it harder for honest people from the same country to get a visa. Better the countries so that more countries open up for Indians, making the ranking go up. \n\nLastly, the passport index website shows India at 65, not 85. Why lie about that to fit your narrative? The passport index website is literally the first result that shows up on Google too... Not everything is about discrimination...

the root cause is illegal immigration and the root cause of illegal immigration is inflation, either people needs to be paid more on par with western countries or the cost of living must reduce to the point, people think working in India is far better to make money. \n5th economy you say but sadly it doesnt translate to the 90% people of this country, At this point even if India is world number economy still 90% of the will struggle to meet their ends. Not so with India and its 1.5 billion population, many of whom want to migrate only because the neighbour's/aunt's/uncle's son also went abroad. Announce a liberal visa regime for Indians one day, and within a year, your country would start looking like Chandigarh or Ahmedabad. While most countries are ok with some diversity, no one wants to be overrun by foreigners, even if the foreigners in question are Indians who are generally law abiding and hard working. And then there are the 'smarter ' types who fake documents and produce bogus certificates to get visas and even pay human smugglers to take them abroad if their visas are rejected. It's for all these reasons why India's passport is ranked at 85. The only reason why India doesn't fall even further is because there are bigger basket cases like India's 'friendly' neighbors who are sitting tight below.\nIf India wants equitable treatment, it should first make itself the best place in the world for an Indian to live and work in. The more you rely on the others for visas, the more likely they are to refuse you.

Why is india not asking for visas to enter the country? Especially from developed countries like UK, EU, US. India should atleast ask for tourist tax from foreigners. Many EU countries impose tourist tax from tourists. Today we see many foreigners making youtube videos of Indians to make money. Pay tax for the money earned in India

A continent is bigger than a country. India needs to develop their own country and make it attractive.

Saw a doc on british customs ppl catching ppl - 1 indian guy claimed to b a student at a english college was his bad luck dat da lady interviewing him knew a bit of basic i.t - dis kid lied abt da college he did enroll buy failed & dropped out , he fidnt know squat of 1st yr basic i.t , his english level was putrid , da u.k customs also caught illegal chinese working in chinese restaurants living like squatters. Wrt indians - fake degrees can be bought its a huge multi billion dollar scam from within india to a web outside from middle East to far East. 80 -90 perc of my friends dont want to live in India. Fact is there is no good life in India-poor payscale, poor infra, lack of freedom and high taxes!! High competion and corruption everwhere makes life toxic

Several Indians have gone to prison for stealing lottery tickets from customers including HUGE Multi $Million Dollar WINNERS! \n\nI have had Indian immigrants be rude to me even though I was born in Washington DC and my ancestors have lived here for centuries! \n\nWe are having to actually pass laws here to prevent Indians from discriminating agains their fellow Indians in work and housing due to them being Dalits, or ‘Untouchables’ which proves that Indians coming here have no interest whatsoever in democracy and equality. Indians are coming here solely for economic reasons. They are having babies here to take advantage of, abusing, our birthright citizenship law. \n\nOver 700,000,000 Indians don.t even have access to a toilet and yet your government is spending many $Billions on aircraft carriers and a massive military buildup. Get your priorities straight, build safe toilets first for your people! Indians need to remain in India and Make India Great Again!

Canada and the US deserve it for allowing so many Indians over... I went on a road trip recently and have never seen so many rude truck drivers, driving recklessly, driving drunk. \n \nThis India guy is not being honest, they are angry at Canadians and hating them. Homelessness in Canada and US is because of high property tax and because of very high inheritance tax. Indians would rather come back to India and live in their negligible property tax homes which they inherit from their parents without paying any tax on their inheritance than to stay homeless in Canada. Or homelessness is because of high price of land and redtapism in making a home for yourself in the west which is not the case in India.

Once I just searched on google masters degree from foreign country, i literally got 100s of adds for months about Canadian, australian, german and US universities, So if i will take admission in those unis after paying whole saving of my family i atleast want to have rights to work in that country otherwise why would i leave my country as i still have middle class life here. And also it's the responsiblity of any unis in the world that if anyone comes to your country for than they should atleast have right to work for the same number of yr as he spent in his course so that he can earn back same amout which he paid for the tuition fees, suppose if i does my Master's from US for which i have to pay atlest 80-100k including living cost and to earn back that same amount of money in the india from best paying companies will take atleast 7-8yrs it's just about getting same amount of money back in account and to make saving of that much money will atleast take 20yrs then tell me why should some go for education in foreign countires if he doesn't get chance to earn that back, College fees are usually decided on PPP terms of the freshers job in that country that why atleast giving chance for work for the same amount of time of the total course time is a good thing otherwise just stop sending adds, just stop scamming indians, and just close your billion dollor economy which works on fees of indian student. Even many african specially nigerian they qualifies to work in india if they did any of his degree from india.
