I totally understand why a lot of Indians want to leave. Huge population, fierce competition etc so obviously folks want to escape. But the problem is locals in the western countries are being outcompeted for high skilled jobs. This is ON TOP of these jobs being MOVED to India. You cannot blame the locals who felt that they are being eaten from both ends. The anger is palpable and this is ONE of the reasons why you see populist candidates win elections. I only wish we have a massive abundance of high skilled jobs to go around so Indians can also achieve their aspirations and dreams wherever they go.

Ukraine and Palestine are in two different situation. Only time of occupation on both countries is the same. You have to know the history. Ukrain was part of Russia for century. Palestinians were always on their land. It's their land but because Israel have strong proponents the Palesinians are force to leave THEIR OWN LAND. Unbelivable

If I was a leader of the other countries I would be wonder wtf am I doing wrong to let tax payers flee... I mean citizens flee. Clearly this is a huge stain against all the leaders of those countries that these people risk their lives to leave. So sad. Those leaders should be ashamed for allowing their country to turn to crap.

It is painful to have people who want/need to leave their own country because of the evil and we can’t let them. Unfortunately it’s necessary

I am Québécois, and things here are quite different from the rest of Canada. For example, we have a law here that clearly forbids wearing religious signs when in a position of authority. Even a teacher, because they are a figure of authority for their students, could not wear the Roman collar, a cassock, a hijab, a niqab or anything else of the sort while in school. In the streets or any other public place, there is no problem at all. Everyone is welcomed to express their difference of culture or religion in the way they dress or in whatever other way. They are treated with the same respect and kindness as anywhere else in Canada. It is only that the separation of religion and state, and religion and authority is paramount here. Everybody is free and can express themsleves freely. But don't use that freedom to impose your views onto others. \nSo, when American judges are chosen for the federal court specifically because of their christian fundamentalist biases, it doesn't resonate well at all for me or the majority of Québécois. When the rights of the LGBTQ+ community are being questioned or jeopardised. Or a previous federal judgement like Roe v Wade is being overturned for religious reasons... it is a definite turn off for all of the Québec people to even remotely consider the United States as a destination to emigrate to (supposing that one would want to leave our beautiful country).\nMore and more, America, that used to be recognized as the land of the free, appears to be retrograde and restrictive and definitely not so free.

It’s off to me that when things get bad in a country there is always a certain percentage of people that are just ready to give up and leave. Why would you not stay and fight for what you call your home? Lady you don’t love Canada you just loved the opportunities it provided for you. \n\nI’m American and I could never just leave and immigrate to another country. I honestly have no interest in being apart of another country’s story

Step 1: Study at a legitimate school if you come here to study. 60-70% of the Indians, especially those from Punjab and Haryana study at these scam colleges attending bogus diplomas, often lured by agencies in India. How do you expect to get a good paying job with that diploma? Plus almost all these students barely speak any English. So you get automatically cornered to low-paying jobs at restaurants, fast food chains, etc. Working in the Canadian corporate world requires you to have the right skills and a good handle with English, which almost all these diploma graduates lack. I have not seen a single Indian student who graduated from UBC, McGill, McMaster, UVic, UofA, UWaterloo, etc struggle to find a job or get PR, and they almost always land good paying jobs.\n\nCanada has entered a correction phase. In the next 2-3 years, you will see a lot of these diploma students forced to leave the country.

Because of some peoples mistakes other genuine people have to suffer. Which country will tolerate indiscipline and illegal activities. They have set of rules put up by every country which needs to be followed if you don't will be thrown out like what's happening now. Governments should track down illegal consultancies and bring them to justice. Just to earn a buck these consultants bring illegal immigrants and leave them. Which is hampering our country's image and destroying it. These illegally immigrants dont understand about our country.

They are working illegally. Solution: build restrooms in India for your people and give them what to eat. Then it won't leave their country.

My dad is an Indian migrant to Australia. He came here legally and worked his butt off for 40 years. To people commenting in the section about how this is unfair and complaining about it. Legal migrants don’t want you in their countries either. It ruins everyone’s reputation. Indians have largely been known to be model citizens. Participants in the western traditions and economic development. By going somewhere illegally you break that trust and let’s be honest the only ones that travel illegally don’t have an education nor considerable skills. That’s going to land you in trouble in any country. If you don’t want to be chained up. Then don’t break the law. As for the rest of it. Racism is going to exist no matter what. There are also dumb illiterate locals with no considerable skills. They need someone to blame for their own shortcomings in life. Leave them be.

To seek asyum in the USA you are denied if you leave your country, enter another country just to get here. Thats not asylum, you achieved asylum when you entered Mexico

If anyone knew how bad and unsafe life is in Juarez Mexico you wouldn't blame people from trying to run out of there. With the drug violence it's normal to just see dead bodies hanging from the side of a freeway together or laying on the streets. It's normal for young women to be kidnapped and killed. Normal for even the reporters reporting on the cartels to be killed. Many people don't even feel safe leaving their homes. Given half a chance I would try to run in there too but I understand the concern that we just can't let so many people in our country. I see both sides.

Why are so many people trying to trying to leave their country? Build your country and let others get a visa to enter!

This planned incident was to make a point that treating people in an inhumane way causes the unity and coordination of the people you are oppressing with inhumane practices. It is not an issue of “entitlement”. If people were already entitled, then the people most likely would not leave from where the people originally started departing from… Privileged people do not try to move to other countries like this. Yeah, Canada is not a real country. By the way. It happened during 1931. When Canada got the chance to become a country, Quebec didn't want to be a part of it so therefore it was not an official country. That means the people's right Constitution didn't go through. Each province can easily leave and join America or become its own country. That's why you see province to province have tariff on each other. Then people complain when US puts 25% when Canada is ripping themselves off.\n\nAll Canadians tax money is bribing Quebec to stay attached, or else Canada will easily fall apart from any direction. Why is everyone worried about them being handcuffed or shackled if they were flown back home. It would have been worst if they just dumped them in Mexico or Canada and told them go back home the way you came here. If I’m not mistaken they traveled by foot, bus, trains. There is no need for chains and handcuffs. American always overdo and try to humiliate others. Illegal immigrants are a product of wests aggressive interference in other countries and taking over their resources. They strip the countries bare, wage wars, and leave nothing for the nation to survive on, especially the poor. So the poor go to the rich countries to survive.

Thanks to the democrates who allowed so many illegal migrants in this country. They are shakled because they refused to voluntarely leave and to avoid riots while traveling! Not the best way but when you deal with such sensitive situation, it is better to keep the situation under control. The US needs to keep the border closed yet allow more migrants to come legally.

Asylum is mean't for fleeing government persecution and you are supposed to claim asylum at the first safe country. Lets keep i real. The desire that most immigrants have is homeostasis which is the familiar. All humans do this. Individually indians are usually smart and decent people. But in groups ( and this doesnt just include indians) you get this group thinking that is prejudice against anyone who isnt one of their own. Im fairly certain its a good demonstration of what a different culture would experience in their own country. This is especially noticeable in markem with the Chinese population. \n\nLet me say this loud and clear. We didnt let you come here so you could start your own countries inside of our country. And beleive me, your gunna get rocked and put in your place if you guys keep coming here and being disrespectful. But once given those opportunities and a chance to decide for themselves, a lot of these people use their liberties to create exclusion and hostility toward out groups. The indians do this in a very overt in your face way, the chinese are more polite about it but both have this way of looking out for their own and not being concerned with anyone else. As far as im conerned you should all be split up and dispersered to live in different provinces and cites.
