As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. You can flood the world with sheer numbers but you will never be respected or improve the world in any way, you will only ever leech off the invention of others. I do not mean to disrespect the many decent Indian people I’m just telling the truth. As a culture your presence outside of India is negative because of the way so many Indians act, trying to create India wherever they go. And they have the cheek to say this is ok because they got colonised. WELL SO DID WE! That is the truth.

1/2 the population works, the youth can't move up economically, it promotes gig, contract, temporary, part-time, no benefits and the long term result is economic instability and citizens here can't afford to have families, have a life. . . As an Indian living in Australia, i support the rejection of visas. Indian behave like they're living in India. Ladies in my class from punjab will speak only punjabi and ask desi lectures if they can teach the class in Hindi. \nAlso occasionally the khalistanis will do demonstrations here creating traffic. \nMany indians visiting nearby Vietnamese cities lile bali also disrespect locals there. You have been spot on about the situation in Canada, except for one thing. The Canadian government pays employers to employ foreign workers and foreign students. As a tenth generation Canadian( more up the native side ) I really resent being told by kalistanies that it's their land and all white people need to go back to Europe. So while people tend to equate your democrats to our liberals or our NDP , and equate your republicans to our conservatives. It’s just not accurate. My parents were both born in the states and my older brother was born there but they moved up here when he was a baby. So nearly all my extended family lives down there and I’m a duelly. And my experiences discussing things with my cousins or visiting absolutely could be described as culture shock at times. The insane things that came out of my own cousins mouths when they hear our friends or partners of various cultures , our not understanding how big a deal and incredibly insulting apparently it is to have assumed someone American was lgbt lol the list goes on. Like I don’t think our most intolerant Pockets can hold a flame to even ur closet to middle a bit intolerant places and contexts in America. I dont mind the indians since i dont live in an area with too many indians. Well i do (markham) but what annoys me (not tryna sound racist but i just need to say it) theres a lot of chinese here and markham's demographics is like 27-19% european and indians are 19% here but here we have nearly 50% chinese out of our like what 368,000 citizens.. i dont mind them but everywhere i go i hear people speaking chinese, posters in chinese, even some teachers have been teaching more chinese than canadian history at my sisters school. My PE class is 18 chinese kids, 3 white kids, 3 indians and 3 black people. See what i mean.. They're smart and keep to themselves but in my experience they're pretty loud and can often be a bit rude and a lot of the times a bit racist too. Edit: before anyone asks yes i am white. I am not trying to be racist but I would just like someone to hear me out. I think people in Brampton are having similar issues.

18:31 I don't think it's so much about being less accepting, it's just that if they live in a small town, there won't be as many fellow immigrants from their ethnic group. Just look at Toronto for example. The Chinese don't move to Brampton, and the Egyptians don't move to Unionville. To a large extent, they move to the parts of the GTA where their own immigrant group lives. Same reason that a Sikh doesn't move to Chinatown is why the Sikh doesn't move to Owen Sound or Kapuskasing - they prefer to be near their own community, especially if they're recent immigrants that haven't integrated that well into the Canadian culture.

I think that they're mistaking studying aboard with immigration. Like what are immigration companies doing introducing schools to international students, if the schools want international students so bad, then they should send their own staff to talk to those students so they could be held accountable for what they are promising them.
