Cut all government funding to universities and give the money directly to Canadian citizens who attend university. That way the international and local students can be on the same footing with no question that Canadian taxpayers are subsidizing foreign students while their own children cannot get admission. I am an immigrant from England. It took us five years to get immigration. We had to prove we had money in the bank would bring jobs to the economy go for medical physicals we were watched we were followed. These people are not the same as me. All indian students are getting married and bringing their spouse and parents to Canada. How it's possible? Also getting pregnant so when the baby is born they can be a Canadian citizen. When they come as a student How come they get the security job in Canada? When they come as a student they have to study and go back to their country. Because they say when they apply for student visa they show that they have money. So use the money and study & go back. Canadian immigration have to stop giving them the work permit. So the Canadian's can get the work.

As what experienced, i knew so much international students from India, Nepal who are students here, some work with them having a lot of issues now. Not enough money to pay their tuition/rent/food. As when they enter, parents support them and after months or a year , they stop sending money. It affects student as can’t really afford to support themselves, having hard time to find job as there are limit to their work hours. It will not pay off their bill entirely. It end up looking for cash job everywhere. There is no much cash job anymore. \n\nGovernment should take action to this!!! \n\nLucky those who came years ago as they were not much international students as to compare today. \n\nI feel this students but government keep bringing them to Canada without checking this situation…. Once they get a job driving truck, instead of stopping to use a bathroom, they cut a hole in the floors of the truck cabs so they can take a crap through the hole or urinate w/o stopping b/c time is money! It’s so bad that mechanics will not work on those trucks b/c the undercarriage is covered with human fezes! They are also very ignorant & know nothing about please & thank you or smile to customers! \nThey have also been accused of using beaches; such as Wasaga Beach in Ontario as a toilet!

To all the Canadian people criticizing International Students, why do your Universities push their agents in India to send pamphlets, posters, brochure and advertisement almost every day back home in India. Where is the protection for the employers who are working round the clock to bring the caregivers but the caregivers are abusing the systems and goodwills of the employers. The caregiver program should be like it was before when the caregivers needed to work here for 10 years to get the permanent residency. Otherwise it is becoming difficult for the employers to retain the newly hired caregivers under the new program as the caregivers are getting PR as soon as they lands. Employers need protection. Employers brings caregivers from foreign lands and as soon as they arrive the caregivers can quit and change employer and start exercising their rights as PR - it has to stop to protect the employer because of the employers hard earned money and goodwill they can land here, employers should not suffer for their goodwill and needs.\nWe Canadian employers need workers not the abusers. Everyone is confusing the increase rate of housing aka the housing crisis to the influx immigrants. The reality is most of the homeless people are on the street because Canada has not been able to create employment, stop the drug problem, and provide the people who already having citizenship with proper social scheme benefits. People never ask the quition who is benefiting from the increase in housing prices or what will Canada do if they get the international students who are pouring money into Canada's GDP.
