Are you kidding me. Are you not in Canada right now. Canada is now the most poor country in the World. Immigration has gone to the roof. No housing. Rents and forget about buying a house in BC, AB, Quebec, Ontario. High unemployment, Inflation is high and going up more. Besides all the different ethnicities cause unrest and are ungrateful, daring the burn the Canadian flag, uttering death to Canada, death the US and Israel. These trouble makers have not intentions to assimilate into Canada's culture and are disrespectful to the Canadian government and it's citizens. Our youth are very unhappy and do not see a future for themselves yet have to work very hard and pay unbelievable high taxes. The minimum wages are only 15 bucks an hour which cannot sustain life here in this country. Please stop making false promises to foreigners to come here and be disappointed. This is not a country of milk and honey any longer but poor and enormous homelessness. Hunger, terrible health care, incredible post secondary tuitions and books. Now that president Trump has won the election he is going to place tariffs on Canadian goods and rightfully so. Russia is very interested in the Antarctica and should they or anyone invade Canada we got 3 days of ammunition. The food in AB is very bad for your health. Everything has pesticides, hormones, and by the time fruit and vegies arrive here from the US all the nutrition have gone. A extremely high cancer rate, young and old, diabetes, depression and other mental disorders are rampant. Our children and grandchildren do not have a future so why bother going to school or work. Our kids live on the streets, shelters, camping in the woods and using fentanyl and meth all kinds of dangerous drugs. The cities and small towns are full of used needles, pipes, and more paraphelia just thrown on the trails everywhere. The US will not assist Canada when a possible War 3 will occur, and we the people of Canada and the land are easy prey. If you do not believe me, just come visit RED Deer shelters and walk around on the trails, go to Vancouver but becareful because random assaults are happening every day, people living in tents, using the streets as toilets, drugs galore, even the police is unable to act nor arrest criminal activities caused by desperate people who need to survive. Canada's economy is about to collapse and fall into a recession. We have too many people coming in our country without checking their back ground and many criminals and terrorist groups are entering declaring refugee status whether it is true or not, we do not know. The people of Canada who work and pay highest taxes are used to house these newcomers and education, jobs, food and money. Our government take better care of these illegal people than their own people especially our youth. So please let us not pretend Canada is a land of opportunity and great. We have to vote for the right leader who will have a very difficult time and challenges to overcome if at all possible and make Canada Great Again!

I moved to Canada upon retirement at age 60. Best decision! I’ve had good experiences with the Ontario and Nova Scotia healthcare. As I didn’t have emergencies, I didn’t wait more than a month for specialists. Canadians don’t like travelling to get appointments sooner which is common in the US. \nMany here think emergency room wait times in the States is much shorter, but I’ve accompanied friends in New York State for treatment only to wait over eight hours. \nHere in Niagara Falls, Canada my ex had a kidney stone causing great pain. The wait time to get morphine and treatment was about 45 min. \nI got a colonoscopy in four days here. In the US I waited three months. \nNo cost or copayments, and there are no in-network requirements that I know of. \nI would not live in the US again. Visiting is just fine!

wow this is just an opinion video of sorts, but guess i'm proud to live in montreal. i own the last army surplus store here. 1423 st laurent. i love montreal as a city, the food is second to none for all of north america. um, weather is full winter during dec to feb. i also live near magog in the eastern townships which is beautiful.\ni've been to pei, love it there, great beaches and very quiet. never been to BC, and living here, i would never visit the middle of canada, just flat and boring and drugs are a big problem and homelessness. cabot trail in ( i did it on bicycle) is fabulous. quebec city, amazing.\ni'm a proud canadian and surely there are far worse countries in the world to live in. but when i retire full time , it will leave for a warmer climate (snow bird) in the winter. not florida, too busy and not nearly as nice as the Caribbean, i go to Curacao 1 month every winter. perfect weather and being dutch has great food and is safe island and beaches are second to none........

It’s great to see and hear two well informed Russian immigrants who clearly know what’s wrong with Canada than most of its complacent citizens and mostly all of its politicians. I watch many YouTube videos of westerners,mostly Americans,Canadians, Australians Brits who have emigrated to Russia many with their families. They all have good things to say about their experiences and don’t regret their move.\nWhich begs the question I must ask. Congratulations for all the hard work and research you 've done to compile so many data and provide a comprehensive explanation of the current situation. I'm an immigrant looking to get my PR, I have qualifications from one of the top universities in the world, experience as an international consultant and most important I do respect the Canadian culture and follow the rules. However, even for me it is uncertain what is going to happen? and/or if the government will make more changes and kick us out hahaha. I do believe that immigration has poured a lot of money into Canadian's pockets and most of them are not considering that, some of that money is going to go to another country who is willing to manage immigration with a better approach and provide a more certain perspective to new immigrants. The government allowed many bad actors (locals and foreigners) to take advantage of the system and those who are going to pay the bill are new immigrants due to political elections, and that is just sad. We will see who are they going to blame for mismanagement of public resources and the possible crash of several industries, that are currently relaying on foreign money, once there are no new immigrants to blame. I agree with most of the new rules regarding immigration, but I strongly disagree with the political approach of how the government is blaming immigrants for their lack of proper management. I still believe Canada is a great country no matter the outcome of my personal immigration process, wish you all the best of luck!

If they had it their way they would have been independent since the 1750s. They don't even like to speak English. The anti-immigrant attitudes expressed in so many of the comments to this video simply appall me! In my experience immigrants made great Canadians and contribute a lot to our country. So, to any immigrants reading this - you are very welcome here! Many Americans and Canadians have family together, dual citizenship, and travel and live back and forth in both countries. I’m a Canadian citizen. I married a Jewish African woman. And helped her get her citizenship after we got married here in Canada. Then we stood outside in the -20 degrees c freezing cold in a long lineup of good people trying to get their citizenships like my wife, all legally obeying the laws of Canada. I’m white so it doesn’t mater our skin color or religion. Its about love and respect to the laws of our country. What I was talking about before is we here in Canada have been suffering from over taxation, extremely high rental rates, high food costs, greatly reduced medical care (My Mom died recently from lack of proper med care resources). They put her lonely dying body in the hallway where she was robbed of her cell phones, money, food and respect. Due to migrants and illegal immigrants overloading the beds and rooms pouring in from other countries. they drained our existing medical system resources and much more. Drug addicts who overdosed on Fentanyl they take first and push all other patients aside. Doctors take them first before helping a dying mother, father, brother or sister, infant and children pushed aside to save a drug addicts life first. I have been told many times this is also do to them taking care of the pouring in migrants and illegal immigrants using it all up. Where is love and justice? It's Not enough and this was Not Fair! We came here in this country and vetted for 6 years by Immigration and all proper education requirements met. My mom worked so hard to be able to come into this Country when I was 14yrs old, there were Rules and Criteria. Now, it's all a Joke. People can come into Canada without proper oversight and Money works. As long as you have huge sums to pay, they let you in, easily, 3months you get Permanent Resident status, we worked hard for 6 years, even doesn't matter if you're a criminal from back home, they let you in, as long as you have money. No proper Vetting process! What has this Current government done to this once great country? They ruined this whole Canadian immigration dream for everyone. My family feels angry and cheated on! I worked 3 jobs since I came here young upto this day 26 years later, pay my taxes and these 'cheaters' get paid social assistance. Very Shameful Canada!

Being a non white immigrant in Canada for decades - I have not seen white Canadians so openly racist. Yes they were gaslighting minorities before but only in the last couple of years I faced racism so open and brutal . Let me tell you something grandma : when you end up in residential care because your kids put you there , it’s that Philippina nurse that will take care of you, your healthcare will be supported by the paychecks of those Indian people because your generation did not produce enough people to sustain your rapidly growing aging cohort. My experience has been different. Came at age 48 with family mostly for children future. Initial struggle followed by more than 20 years full time work in a company owned by Canadian but most of us working immigrants from different countries. Had a wonderful experience working as a team. Company grew from 5 including owner to about 30 when I retired. Most of of my contribution was from skills I obtained on the job. The flexibility I got was help to spouse and children. The three of them achieved good outcomes. Taxes are high. I never worried about that as children had professional education with no financial help. Only my steady basic facilities provided as I had steady though lower income than what I had back home in relative terms. What we get back from taxes we pay in health civic facilities education for children is great return of taxes paid. What I got was quality living. No luxuries. My purpose of coming here more than fulfilled. Happy family. Grand children now enjoying higher quality of life than what I had or my own children had. I do notice recent trends of immigrants expectations not very encouraging. I have enjoyed the multicultural atmosphere friendship and regard for each other. My colleagues and I have been of great asset to the company we worked in.

This is disheartening... this means that my husband will never be able to live with us. My children will grow up without their father, and for some reason, Canadians are OK with Canadian children growing up in a broken home. It's going to take 35 months, for my husband to be able to immigrate to this country. That's 2 1/2 year that my kids won't have a dad, our son especially is suffering. He has a serious disease, is often hospitalized, and I'm a married woman living as a single mother. Now I'll need to rely on the government for more financial support, and my 6 year old is actually depressed because his dad is years away from being with him. I work full time, have a great home, and a side business. But now I'll need to depend on meds and disability support to take care of my child, when he has an ablebodied father that can support us, especially when our child is in one of his regular hospitalization. You all are cruel.

I am an immigrant who came here 20 years ago i believe it worked out well when we had 200-250k immigrant target per year and reduced when theres economic crisis below 100k for only critically short industries.
