Hey Tyler,\nA lot of us have family in the US. My grandmother came into Canada with the railroad because of her father. I could apply for citizenship and have no problem getting it. That being said, I can also apply for an Irish or English citizenship as well. We are family, and I am so sad how you are letting Trump treat us.\n❤❤❤

The commentary here sounds so much like U.S. citizens griping, it's almost funny, but also sad. Maybe Trump the ignoramus is right... do Canadians really want to give up and just become part of the USA? I doubt it, but if you're in any doubt as to where to live, don't try just south of you. It's got all the problems you mention and then some. And of course it's still a great country; I was born here and live here happily. But I've also been to Canada four times since the 1980's, and each time I am just wowed by the many ways in which Canada seems ahead of the USA. The grass truly is greener on the other side of the fence... just be aware of what you have, and that you have an amazing country, too. Griping is now epidemic in the United States... it doesn't lead anywhere good, and it accomplishes nothing.

The bogus 'education Institution' near my home in Toronto has closed. Sadly, many Indian students were left with nothing. Do not come to Canada unless it's a top Canadian university. Do not waste your parents' hard earned money.

I've been to the states many times! My opinion is that Americans focus on wallets more than social issues! Americans care more about their own circumstances than working together to help the whole of the population. No one likes to pay more taxes but they are a nessesary evil to be able to pay for health care, public security, and so on! So sure Americans don't pay as much for some things but pay more for things that they shouldn't pay! Health care is something that is very important, how can you be expected to pay for health services if you can't work cause you're ill, doesn't make any sence! Even Americans leave thier country because of what it's becoming! 50- 100 years ago everyone wanted to immigrate to America or Canada, now a days everyone is immigrating here to Canada. Should I have to explain why! It's sad but the U.S.A isn't what it used to be. Mostly because of corporate greed and the influence it has on the gouvernment! Just look at how Trump is running things. A country isn't a bussiness, it's a people, without the people a country is nothing. Too bad Trump and his billionaire butt licking friends can't see that!

The post-war world order is now over. It's time for Canada to drop out of NATO and NORAD (what is the point of a defensive strategic alliance with the only country in the world that is openly threatening you with annexation?) and expel all American military and government personnel in the country. Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia, Japan, South Korea etc need to form a new strategic and economic bloc oriented toward the goal of breaking America, just as we did with the Soviets when they were the largest threat to global peace and prosperity. As an American it feels a bit extreme, but all Canada has to do is attempt to fix their border, but your leaders would rather choose war. OK. 75% of Canadian exports go to the US while you only take 12% of ours exports. This will be a bloodbath. If Canada was a state in the USA, it would be the 4th largest economy. I have family that is from Canada, this makes me sad.

I have heard the average just to have baby in the US is 7-10K not including prenatal care, here in Canada it is zero…\nI have been pregnant 3 times, sadly lost my first 2, and I have had 2 complete knee replacements and several spinal cord surgeries…I would be dead for sure if I lived in the States, here I have paid nothing, I have insurance and that pays for my medication I need to take. I don’t know how people manage down there if you have health issues.

We went to leave Canada too and both my husband and I were born and raised in Canada. We even moved from southern Ontario to Saskatchewan to Alberta. It is now well known that Indians are desperate to do everything (legally or not) to get a PR in the western countries because of population explosion in India and hard life! Canada and AUS are very strict when it comes to Indian students' visa application now! It is sad that Indian Consultant agencies are scamming its own people resulting to these changes.

I don't care what anyone says, but Indian people, particularly (Punjabs) don't like to mixed with other cultures at all. They don't integrate with the Canadian lifestyle. They don't worked very hard, they are rude, they have no respect for other nationalities, racist as fuck, and the list goes on. As an American and also a half Indian myself, I hear this guy . I have friends in Canada and they complain to me about the same thing. One of the things is that Indians refuse Canadians job positions because they are not Indian. How can u Indians refuse someone a job in their own country? And another thing. The system is BROKEN. Tenants like this one are abusing the backlogs, landlords like this one want pitty when they are clearly MAKING INCOME on these rentals but are NOT paying taxes on those earnings yet, everyone else has to pay taxes on what little they earn. PLUS, there are landlords such as mine that has decided to take away my basement after renting the WHOLE house so he can build another unit so he can make more money but all he's offered is to keep my rent at the same price, no increase. I have to put up with losing space, parking, dealing with deathly noise for who knows how long just so he can make more money????? He should have made a clear contract around this plan he had to add another unit when he rented it to me. Sadly, landlords have become very greedy, I don't know where they get so much money to buy multiple homes but most families in Canada today can't afford the outrageous downpayments being asked to own a home!!!! I don't necessarily feel sorry for landlords. NOW pay taxes on your income from these homes and you have more of a right to complain I say.

My takeaway from this video and all the comments is that the main problem with Canada is the lack of loyalty and national attachment. People are taking a consumerist view of their homeland.\n\nVery sad.

Yes greed. I heard some homeowners are renting their basement? Because of demands for workers (to live) it's OK. In Germany basements are for your old stuffs even If your house is brand new. In Canada, I think, everything is like gold. Even sad and lonely small towns some are renting there. Many are depressed and crazy because of loneliness and cold/ bad weather. The world is big to explore. Use your common sense!

Congratulations for all the hard work and research you 've done to compile so many data and provide a comprehensive explanation of the current situation. I'm an immigrant looking to get my PR, I have qualifications from one of the top universities in the world, experience as an international consultant and most important I do respect the Canadian culture and follow the rules. However, even for me it is uncertain what is going to happen? and/or if the government will make more changes and kick us out hahaha. I do believe that immigration has poured a lot of money into Canadian's pockets and most of them are not considering that, some of that money is going to go to another country who is willing to manage immigration with a better approach and provide a more certain perspective to new immigrants. The government allowed many bad actors (locals and foreigners) to take advantage of the system and those who are going to pay the bill are new immigrants due to political elections, and that is just sad. We will see who are they going to blame for mismanagement of public resources and the possible crash of several industries, that are currently relaying on foreign money, once there are no new immigrants to blame. I agree with most of the new rules regarding immigration, but I strongly disagree with the political approach of how the government is blaming immigrants for their lack of proper management. I still believe Canada is a great country no matter the outcome of my personal immigration process, wish you all the best of luck!

As a current international student I can say I am happy for all this changes Canada is doing in the immigration system sadly it was taken advantage by too many indians and people from africa that came here with not the best intentions, I can confidently say if in my case is not possible to stay I will happily return to central america with good memories and good friendships and start working again. thats life

I have been watching your videos for many years and recently your opinions have been against indian immigrants. People who came to Canada before covid and easily got PR are acting axactly like u right now. This video of PM is criticized by many with rationality.
