I have worked with and around Indians for 30 years. Many are my friends but most look for loopholes in the law, they avoid paying their taxes and they cheat. This is not a stereotype. If you have a huge home with multiple families then pay for your services. This is not a recent problem, it has being going on for years. Marks use to replace work boots if they work out too quickly, why not have the person with the largest feet pick them out, use them for 8 hours, pass them on to the next person and again. Then get a free pair. They aren't made to wear 16 to 24 hours per day. Our social services are to help people get on their feet and contribute, they are not free handouts. ICBC, UIC, WCB U O ME. Just try to fit in and follow the basic rules of society. I am welcoming to everyone until they wear out their welcome.

Why is the media predominantly highlighting only Indians? It's essential to avoid discrimination against individuals based on their ethnicity, skin tone, or any other factors. Clearly, Canada has ceased to be, and will never become, a destination for unqualified immigrants.

You hit the nail, right on the head. It's both our governments fault and Indian peoples fault. We brought in too many, all at once. I'm all for international students. I'm all for people from abroad, coming to our education system, because we have the one of best in the world, get an education, establish yourself here and you can make a great life out of it and you'd be accepted. Learn our polite and law-abiding culture, and you would be accepted. If you come over here with the expectation of becoming citizens, because our government markets it like that. The amount of times that I met Indians that don't care, are rude, entitled don't deserve to be here. On top of that, they bring in their third-world culture and thinks it's ok to behave like that. Yes, bring your culture. Bring your massive weddings, food, art and traditions. That's what makes canada such a great nation. The process for obtaining Canadian PR or citizenship shouldn’t be as easy as it is today. By tightening these controls, we could have prevented the rise of these exploitative practices and maintained the value and integrity of what it means to be Canadian.

I have been living in canada for 3 years now and I Agree and Disagree on this video. Yeah, Canada has one of the largest natural resource but utilities bill is more than that of India. Yes, canada's population is half of Gujarat's population, but just check the rent in canada once. Many people here prefer living in an EV to avoid rent. Canada may be exporting fertilizers, but Canada has to import food and veggies from other countries and its damm expensive. Ab koi log bolenge, then go back to India.. I am not saying canada is bad. The only reason i am still here in canada is because of its work culture. Work culture in canada is wayyyyy more stress free than that of India's. And just dont get me started with the amount of crime and gun shots. Coz I have seen many news related to gun shots in metro and buses and people gets killed without any reason. And one of the worst things in canada is Drugs. Just last week, I took a walk down two blocks alone at 2 am. It literally scared a shit out of me bcuz of the druggies and homeless people. Even my canadian colleagues are fed-up of this drug abuse and crime. \n\nSo, canada may look all goodie good from outside, but reality is way diff than that.

One reason is the self suffiency in various disciplines like medical equipments , arms manufacturing etc . Many manufacturing unit in these countries are facing increasing and severe competition from India. Hence, to avoid a embarassing financial situation there countries are finding various excuses by saying pressure on housing, transport etc. In today's scenario nodody in world can challenge the Indian scientific research and technology. Be it in bullet train or nuclear technology.

As an International Student living in Canada and seeing soo much happening here, this video was much needed. But the recent issues regarding new and harsh rules implemented for immigrants should have been covered at the time of releasing this video. Anyways..in short.. it's TOO bad for ANY kind of immigrant right now in Canada..so if you can avoid..please don't come here

Please Canada.. prioritize your CITIZENS first. We are losing our positions and rights because ALL companies are favoring temporary workers to avoid giving rights ( ie. OT pays) to regular employees. It's ok to give others chances but don't take our rights away. It's unfair. I am from Goa, a beach paradise in India, & we have Indian tourists coming here in the thousands & pissing & even shitting on our beaches, apart from littering the place with all kinds of trash. You find red patches of paan spittle all over, & the drunken ones even puke on the sands & litter the place with shards of glass from the booze bottles they smash. Gangs of crude male tourists keep harassing females, particularly foreigners, & all of this has led to a sharp decline in foreign tourist arrivals. Even Goans avoid going to these beaches nowadays.

Vancouver seems so cheap to me coming from Bangkok. I’m relocating to Vancouver from Bangkok. But my situation is different. I have an extremely high living standard in Bangkok which costs a fortune. Vs that’s just the baseline in Vancouver. People don’t realize how good they have it in Canada. In Bangkok, even if you’re wealthy you have to import your food to avoid Chinese counterfeit and microplastics and spend like $2 grand a month on electricity for medical grade air filters to deal with the pollution issue. My rent in Bangkok is $15k / month. Vs I can get the equivalent in Vancouver for $5-$6k/ month. So seems really cheap to me. Food is a lot cheaper than buying organic in Bangkok too.

If you know what’s good for you, avoid Germany by all means. It isn’t what the media makes it seem. Major housing crisis, micro/subtle racism, dealing with the bureaucracy and worst of all “Steuer, teuer… Germany isn’t for the weak!

The problem with Germany is that every employee is taxed from the revenue /tax board. So the employers have to pay 25% on Top of the salary to the revenue board whereas the employee also pays tax on his salary. This leads employers to feel they are paying a lot for the service and the employees to feel that they are not getting enough in hand as net income. Both become unsatisfied. On the top, this money is used to support the social system where it is very easy to get to. So the people who are not willing to work sneak into the social support and are getting supported by the high taxes which the employees and the employers are paying. Unless this disparity is avoided and social reform is brought in, this dissatisfaction will continue and Germany will never get enough workers.

They can mortgage the property and avoid paying. Banks can evict her to take over the property. Then the owner can pay back what he owed

I live in Scotland for last 5 years, moved here because I was tired of India. Its corruption, polarized politics, and also how people behave. I have been welcomed by the Scots here, treated with respect and made many Scottish friends and know families who are some of the kindest warm people you will meet. \nI also know lots of Indians who are well behaved and good residents of Scotland. But sometimes I see Indians who simply take advantage of the Scottish hospitality. These Indian abuse the honor system to the point that it has become less prevalent. I once seen some north Indian guy singing vulgar Bhojpuri songs to a white girl when on the sidewalk in a manner that can be called eve testing, that made my blood boil. I absolutely hate it and avoid some Indians unless I personally know them. Being and Indian I dont want to be associated with Indians abroad because these 1-2% Indians have given the rest of us a bad name.

I've been to Canada several times as a tourist, visiting the country's biggest cities and always finding it a great vacation destination. But the last few times I've been there I've noticed the decline, especially in the bigger cities. Last year I was in Toronto and had to look down to avoid stepping in human feces and to the sides to avoid being attacked by some drug addict going crazy.

I see so many Canadians complaining about healthcare. But 80% of the reasons people need healthcare can be avoided.\n\nIt's us breaking the system, by living unhealthy lifestyles. They expect for someone to come to work to speak German on C1 level, I mean for a reasonable job and on the other end they're allowing all the immigrants in that don't know German at all. They want cheap labor, period. As well even if you're from some other EU country they look at you differently so I don't know how would they look at someone from outside of EU. It was interesting hearing Alina's comments and reading the comments, because I recently visited with a Canadian family at a neighborhood function who moved here from the Toronto area, and they feel more at home here (Bentonville, Arkansas, home of Walmart) than they did in their actual home in Canada. They essentially said that Canada was awesome growing up but has changed so much that they felt they had to leave. It's always the same.\n\nLanguage barrier:\nFor day to day activities it's less of a problem in bigger cities. For most jobs you simply need a higher level of a language for team work. If you're motivated I believe you can get to C1 in 6 months, with good learning techniques. That said you're probably not motivated. Learning a new language feels like hard work and you feel awkward speaking it.\n\nHard to meet friends:\nSame for all other countries. Create your own social circles or try sports, similar interests to get to know people. \n\nHow people treat you:\nIf you feel unwelcome, it's probably just all in your head because you're not accustomed to a different culture, so you feel like a foreigner. Got nothing to do with Germany, but with being an expat. \n\nRacism:\nProbably less of a problem in western Germany and bigger cities. Avoid east Germany. Also see previous point.

I came to Berlin, Germany ?? from India with my family in 2021 on EU Blue card. I work here as a Software Engineer and last month I got my PR. Below are my observations \n1) Not expat friendly at all - Most of Govt departments doesn’t want to speak English at all making us feel we are useless. Esp at initial level it is next to impossible \n2) Taxes are too high I have lots of friends in Netherlands in HSM visa and they have 30 percent off in total salary meaning taxes are charged on remaining 70 percent.\n3) Difficult to buy home in Germany ?? whereas in Netherlands it is super easy and banks easily give 100 percent mortgage. Many friends of mine took their own house on the very first year and their emi is almost equivalent to the rent.\n4) Openess to English is still an issue if Germany ?? needs more skilled workers which I feel they desperately need it they would need to be more open towards English which is a common linked language.\n5) People are not at all friendly and avoid small talks.

The problem with all these anti immigration movements is that sometimes they label ALL immigrants the same. Some people go here because their education is wasted in their home country, some people even prepare to avoid the culture shocks, or already have family living there. Filter out the bad ones, don’t close entirely.
