I think Canada is still one of the best countries in the world. Some of the countries that have high rankings of happiness have free university, humane incarceration, much better health care,m and everyone has a family doctor, and many amenities to make life more productive and healthy. I’m fine paying more taxes for those societal benefits but many aren’t. Society is what we make it to be honest. Staying put and digging in and contributing to good in your community is a great way to improve city life. I think you are far too concerned with what things cost to do that unfortunately. Thailand is cheap as hell but I could never tolerate the low wages paid to vulnerable, hard workers, and the profound poverty, not to mention sex tourism. Trashing cities and departing isn’t helpful. You have a right to a land, as well as obligations and responsabilities for inhabitating that land. You can't be crossing into your neighors country and start butchering people in name of your god and then expect another state to tolerate that. When you start 4 wars in 4 decades (the first one the very next day after formally creating the state) let's say your intentions will at the very least be doubted, and you aren't exactly going to be trustworthy to be left unsupervised for eventual aggression.

I understand most of your reasons but if you don’t think there are no LGBTQ Muslims in Muslim places in the world too you are kidding yourself! You are preaching tolerance but your actions in this respect say otherwise. Queer people are about 1/10 around the world whether closeted because they fear your attitude or not. I for one do not agree at all with the indoctrination going on in schools pushing this LGBTQ agenda on kids I think its absurd! But to have someone convert to a different religion or they can not marry you is in my opinion another form of indoctrination and its definitely not tolerant of others beliefs. The thing about Canada is we truly dont mind others practicing what they believe, but ofcourse when it comes to kids and the LGTBQ thing I strongly disagree about this being in schools. But other then that we support different religions and cultures. I homeschool so there are ways around these kinds of things here in Canada and I do think the cost of living will go back down eventually and those that left will regret it.

The Christian/Atheist West will never fully accept practicing Muslims. They will tolerate it because we need young bodies and it allows them to feel three powerful human emotions: superiority, pity and, for many, disgust. Another reason to leave for a Muslim country is you will be lucky if one of your grandchildren are practicing Muslims. Fabulous video! US viewer here. But we often vacationed in Quebec’s Laurentians and our daughter went to Ontario’s University of Toronto for her undergraduate degree about 15 years ago. UofT was rigorous, to say the least, but she did it in 4 years, unlike some of her peers. She LOVED it, and made many friends, including internationals. They’ve stayed close on FB, and even get together (some flying in from other countries, including the Middle East and Asia) every 2 years or so back in Toronto. We’ve found the easiest way to make friends is by going to university or college together and living in residence, rather than once we’ve enter the workforce.\n\nThat said, and as unpolite as it may be, the root of Canada’s problems are exactly its politics. IMO Canada’s misguided liberal policies are to blame for its stratospheric taxes, cost of housing, increasing crime, tolerant drug culture, and deteriorating health care system. That Canada now encourages voluntary euthanasia to reduce health care costs should say it all. Margaret Sanger would be proud. And it promises to get worse as long as Justin Trudeau and his ilk are in power. His lionizing climate change intervention at the expense of what really impacts Canadians is sheer madness. Indians are most blends with the culture and customs of any migrating country! Naturally they do not have any agenda like others like communists, Islamist or Christians or any religious duties etc. This is the one of the main reasons Indians shine and successful wherever they go and perform best, loyal and real Value to host countries. If yours is a religion that requires visible signs of adherence/devotion in public then that public should reflect those signs. Canada is a secular society. It could be more tolerant, but I blame the US for that. Now, winters. I hate them too, but there's so much to do in the snow, and it's so healthy for you. A change of mindset is key.

Sir , check out Malaysia, KL is a great country and Muslim friendly of course, but also a tolerant society . Check out the Philippines. I live there part time . On the SW corner of Mindanao (Zamboanga ) great town and 1/2 Muslim) people get along fine there usually. I live up in north Luzon - mostly Christian but Muslims are around too . No hassle and respectful. I don’t know your financial situation, however, in the Philippines, the school system is quite good, and private schools are stunningly excellent. I would definitely check out the Philippines and also Malaysia. Both have a great style of life and it doesn’t cost a fortune to live well. Education is quite good and the medical situation is also quite good. In the Philippines, however you have to select the hospital before you become ill in the Philippines, there is the public hospitals, which is fine for minor, scrapes and cut, but I would recommend a major hospital for anything serious. In Malaysia, the standard of medical care is good throughout the country. You could also consider northern Thailand. Southern Thailand is too much into tourism, but northern Thailand has a good mixture of people and religions. Mainly a Buddhist country, but very tolerant towards Christians, Hindus, and Muslims. I live in Mississauga and have travelled around the GTA and I haven’t really noticed any hate crimes against muslims. As a Muslim myself, Canadians these days are far more tolerant towards muslims or any other cultures than they were back in the day. I see hundreds of hijabi ladies every day and none of them get harassed or bullied for wearing a hijab.

Hope more people with Muslim faith try to find home in Middle East . Saudi Arabia , Qatar need to start giving citizenship to Muslim people . Please leave faster to those countries . I am an American Christian, and you seem like such a lovely couple. I lived in England with two babies 1980nand I felt culture shock, so I feel compassion for how you feel living in Canada. I also attended University 4 years, NY near the Canadian border (30 deg below zero Fahrenheit in winters) so I understand how the extreme cold is hard to live through.Most of all, the Western world culture is beginning to push beliefs which even Christians can't tolerate. We are Christian. We lived in the Chicago area which deteriorated tremendously in crimes, respect for others, morals, and people's tolerance for others. The only thing that kept going up in Illinois is their taxes. The 'ruling party' leaves normal people speechless-- in that criminals crimes and behaviors are excused! \nSo we moved to Florida which has a majority of conservative people. We found our town there by first searching for a Church which matches our beliefs, whose worship style and music speaks to our spirit, which offers Bible study groups and has a blessed Pastor.\nFind a house was simple and our neighbors are wonderful!\nAmen and Amen!\nAnd may your relocation go smoothly as well!

I’m disappointed by your comments about the drag show and stopped at that point. I’m a 48 year old white woman who has been following your channel for several years now. I appreciated the education you two provided about Muslim culture and was even able to use some of what I learned to educate others in everyday life settings. I get what you were saying that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but for a channel that I felt was trying to break down biases and stereotypes through education, I was disappointed that you verbalized your bias against another culture that is also struggling to find tolerance and acceptance and who are actively being targeted. It’s ironic that many Muslims – like this couple - complain about the lack of diversity for their religion in the countries they live in though their religion explicitly not allow any kind of diversity in the context of a Islamic state. Out of all the countries and societies on earth, Islamic ones are the least tolerant by default.

As a westerner (Australian) I have lived in 4 different Islamic countries in one of those countries although they were devout muslims they were welcoming and friendly. That country was Oman the other countries I wont name but I will say that at no time did I ever feel completely welcome or safe. There were definately people in all them who were tolerant of westerners but there were plenty more who were not. Oman is a wonderful country its full of history including the Arab wotlds oldest Souk located in Muscat and as a bonus its only a 2 hour drive over to Dubai and the Emirates it does get quite hot in summer but for us it was a nice place to live.

I would personally avoid the USA or most of the Western world ,and choose a Muslim country ,as I feel the West is becoming less tolerant towards Muslims and their way of life.
