People mad that we are going to tariff (tax) other countries who benefit from doing business with the U.S. but okay with the government placing tarrifs on our own peoples income for working and contributing to the local economy through commerce. Tariffs seem more fair. At least if they want to reduce the spending they do less business with the U.S. we have to work for an income to even live here. I have Indian friends who support these rejections, as they themselves admit that Indian people often lack discipline and proper manners when travelling abroad. They criticise India for its poor reputation, blaming the behaviour of its citizens. The reality is that the Western world is changing and, at last, becoming less politically correct. I’m from Vancouver bc and it upsets me that this site keeps saying oh we need skilled workers not labourers I’m a skilled worker born and bred in bc 10 years experience painter can’t get a job unless I get 10$ less per hour than 2014 and carpentry same thing. I see a lot of Venezuelans in my city. You can easily spot them. Uncool designer labels like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. Black Nikes and some goofy sunglasses. Mexican and Central Americans are wearing work clothes like Carhartt etc. The Venezuelans are working non laborious jobs like food delivery. Somehow they easily afford cars as they are heavily subsidized by the government both on a local and federal level. No insurance tag or driver's license.

What do you expect, when you see Indians going abroad on tourist visa, and then overstaying and doing cheap labour. I think there is one crucial thing that need to highlight, it is about behavior. If you ask the hotelier, driver, tour agent or even attraction/tourism spot staff they already have a signal among each other if there is tourist from India coming. It’s not just food bank either, they all apply for welfare and immediately get assistance even though it takes months to get as a natural born citizen, and that’s even if you get it. I was shocked to find out the federal government was paying indians to move out of Ontario and BC into Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba because the coastal cities infrastructure was about to implode in certain areas. So they they told these people to move inland, and if they do and stay there for 18-24 months, they get $3300 dollars a month every month for that duration. My disability cheque, that I paid into for 40 years of hard work, comes out to 950 dollars a month. This is absurd. These people get literally everything handed to them, and STILL abuse the programs meant for those who are struggling. I have never in my life met such an arrogant and utterly dishonest and disgusting group of peoples in my life. This isn’t just one or two bad apples, this is happening in every city around here. They also get first dibs on any and all medical treatment and specialists. Many local residents who have already been on waiting lists for years to get treatment are getting bumped in order to accommodate the new invaders. It’s basically impossible to find a doctors or dentists office accepting new patients. ER rooms are full constantly of these people coming just for runny noses and coughs, clogging up the already strained healthcare system. The prairies hospitals (at least where I live) were barely holding together before this nonsense. Yet somehow, this is all just white people being racist huh? \nWell I’ll tell you what, I’m not white, my people were on this land long before anyone else can claim to be, and while I’ll admit there’s often still a lot of animosity between natives and whites, youd be quite surprised to see how many of us are in agreement towards the current behaviour of these people.

State and local governments cannot be forced to help with deportations HOWEVER they cannot interfere with ICE and Border Control. That is a federal law. Laken Riley Act does require any illegal immigrant to be immediately turned over to ICE if they have been previously arrested even for a misdemeanor.

Many building companies went out of business when the price of materials increased but their contract price couldn't.\nCashed up immigrants who can afford higher prices effectively drive locals away from places to live. Homelessness is increasing in Australia.\nThe government then tries to build more social housing and pays the builders higher prices than a person building a private house can afford, which continues to increase the construction cost spiral. We now have $1M+ houses being built for people on welfare who only have to pay a maximum of 25% of their income, and that income is given to them by the government. People are better off being unemployed and living off government benefits and housing than to have a job paying less than $100k/yr.

What will Canada do, you ask? For starters, it can clear the truckload of foreign workers taking sub-par wages at job sites for my son's 3rd-year electrician apprenticeship - a job he hasn't found any work in for about 4 months now in the GTA. Yes, these workers and the companies that employ them have been illegally using the system meant for workers that cannot be found locally to hire for lower wages than Canadians. Some of them are fully qualified electricians willing to work for $22/hour - just $4.80 above minimum wage - you cannot survive on that in the GTA. So, not only do these workers steal jobs, they drive down wages. The companies need to be fined for misuse of this code.

Pretty much all of Canada is like this. If you’re brown they’ll hate you for working hard and making an honest living. Meanwhile the locals will just apply govt benefits and play video games and blame indian immigrants for stealing their jobs, with this kind of hatred and bad attitude. If I want to work in the USA, I have to apply for a visa and work permit, present my documents, qualifications and credentials, plus criminal record and health check, show that I have adequate medical insurance and enough money to fund my stay. If granted permission to come, I then have to present myself at an official port of entry.\n\nALTERNATIVELY, I can fly to Colombia, pay gangsters to guide me through the Central American jungle, sneaking clandestinely through several countries along the way, and pay the local cartel to smuggle me illegally across the southern US border. Then I get free transport to a US destination of my choice, free housing, free clothes and personal items, free healthcare and legal advice, and a work permit without all that pesky paperwork.

As an Indian living in Australia, i support the rejection of visas. Indian behave like they're living in India. Ladies in my class from punjab will speak only punjabi and ask desi lectures if they can teach the class in Hindi. \nAlso occasionally the khalistanis will do demonstrations here creating traffic. \nMany indians visiting nearby Vietnamese cities lile bali also disrespect locals there.
