Life with greatness do not lies on Money alone. It is not always economy. It is LOVE of fellowmen, the welfare of its people. Leadrship with faith. In God we Trust. God Bless you Pres. Trudeau.

That’s called crab mentality. The American economy has declined significantly, and they seem determined to pull everyone else down with them. You can't argue with that. Move on

Trump is just doing it to draw attention away from his own country. He can blame Canada and every other country for American problems but that's not gonna work on American people. It's entirely disappointing that trump is pushing away American allies and bizarre that he thinks the economy will be better off.

I think the US president is making the US economy worse, taxes and prices in the country will increase, and relations with other countries will not be good. Since taking office, he has only focused on the small number of rich people with a lot of money, while 90% of the population is struggling with prices and taxes, so he has nothing to care about. What did the American people vote for him to do? To make people's lives better, to have more jobs, to make taxes better...etc. He only talks but has not done anything. The words of a rich person like him are not trustworthy.

I pray Canada, Mexico, Europe, South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia can find ways to work together and strengthen each others economies and other developments.

?Green Berets Vs Algonquins ? Bad News! - Here's the Problem: We have a smaller Population but Entrepreneurs in this Country have Rights! - It matters when it comes to sheltering an Economy!\nTrade war from Free Trade? Bizarre! Look on the Bright side - Deniro is on our side! (Obviously!)\n (All I'd like to say is... with respect (?) - If Cretien was PM a few Years ago, The Minister of Justice Jody Wilson would have remained in office?)

Trump is going to tank the world economy and Maga will be fine with it until there are bread lines ?
2025-03-04 0
I'm sorry our Canadian's fellows, this is not personal, it's just business. All this year the USA economy has been decreased because we buy (importing) more goods than selling (exporting). We are no in good shape economically to support other countries' economies. We need companies to come back to produce in the USA and those extra charges are an incentive to start producing again in the USA. After our economy is better, we can make new deals. \nAbout Fentanyl, it is funny that he said that it was all good and after that, saying just in the last months implemented all kinds of security measures. LOL \nHe speaks nice, but he is not a smart guy. Putting tariffs back to the USA makes it worse with Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a businessman, he can keep increasing the taxes and in the end, Canada will be hurt more than the USA. I suggest to peacefully open a negotiation with Trump, not to fight back at the same level... don't take it personally, it is just business.
2025-03-04 0
I am an American and I’m embarrassed by Trump and the brainwashed MAGAs. They are tanking the American economy and they can’t blame Biden. This is Trump\nElon and the Republicans!!!
2025-03-04 0
He seems to understand the US economy better than that of his country Canada
2025-03-04 0
Well this is it, everything will start to become expensive again.. Looks like i'll be maxing out my Zip Pay.. BNPL is a god send in this economy.

I stand for Canadian. I don’t agree Trump tariff war. Only will ruin US economy. Bring higher inflation.
2025-03-04 0
It’s a trade dispute between USA and Canada, where from Russia came into this subject. Anyway USA people job and economy are NOT depending only on Canada, so don’t worry. So your “Friendship” depends on tariffs % ?

Trump’s destroying the free world’s economies just as Putin had ordered.
2025-03-04 0
Principles for Dealing with The Changing World Order By Ray Dalio. \nAlthough it may seem like Trump is hurting the economy at the time being. He is doing the US economy a long term favor. Nothing personal against our fellow Canadians. We love our allies. But the US needed a Leader like Trump after the Bummy Biden administration. God Bless EVERYONE reading this comment. We will all make it through this.

These journalists don’t realize the damage has been done and it is irreparable. \nAs nations we are no longer friends, just neighbours. \nRegardless of how great your next president may be you will always be one election away from being a threat to our nation, economy, security, and citizens.

The biggest economy in the world is destroying it self from the inside
2025-03-04 0
Donald Trump is getting us into more trouble than he’s worth, ? I already need overtime just to keep up with the economy and bills. Food is already high, I hope Canada is not responsible for the cost of eggs.
2025-03-04 0
All you idiots that praise Justin Trudeau are not Canadians. This POS is the reason that Canada's middle class is now poor and suffering. There's no worse person than a liberal who talks nice but makes empty promises. Our cost of living is through the roof, our economy is tanked, our infrastructure is 30 years behind. We have now become a third world country thanks to clowns like this.

Canada’s 25% Tariffs? A Win for American Businesses in the Long Run\n\nAt first glance, Canada slapping a 25% tariff on U.S. goods might seem like a negative for America. But in reality, this move could actually work in our favor by making the U.S. economy stronger, more self-sufficient, and less dependent on foreign markets.\n\t1.\tBoosting American Manufacturing & Production – When Canada makes U.S. goods more expensive with tariffs, American businesses have a huge opportunity to shift focus to domestic markets and new trade partners. This could bring more production back home and reduce reliance on Canada.\n\t2.\tEncouraging Trade Diversification – The U.S. isn’t limited to Canada. If they want to play hardball, we can expand exports to other countries with fewer trade restrictions. Canada makes up about 15% of U.S. exports, but the rest of the world is wide open. This is a chance to diversify and strengthen our economy.\n\t3.\tMaking Canada Pay More for U.S. Goods – Tariffs don’t just hurt exporters—they also raise costs for Canadian consumers. If Canada wants American products, they’ll end up paying more or have to settle for alternatives that might be lower quality or more expensive from other countries.\n\t4.\tStrengthening America’s Negotiating Position – If Canada wants to raise tariffs, that gives the U.S. even more leverage in future trade talks. The U.S. economy is far larger and more powerful than Canada’s, and in the long run, they need us more than we need them.\n\t5.\tReducing America’s Trade Deficit – If fewer goods are exported to Canada, that means more products stay in the U.S. This helps lower dependence on foreign markets and could even stabilize prices for American consumers.\n\nBottom Line: Canada’s Move Hurts Them More Than It Hurts the U.S.\n\nIf Canada wants to put tariffs on U.S. goods, let them. In the long run, it pushes America to be more self-reliant, strengthens our industries, and forces Canada to pay the price for their own policies.\n\nAt the end of the day, America has the stronger economy, better resources, and more trade options—Canada needs U.S. trade more than we need theirs. If they want to make American goods more expensive, they’ll feel it a lot more than we will.

6 of Trump's companies have gone bankrupt. Yet he's trying to tell us about the economy. I think we should turn off the electricity we ship down there.

Got to stop that .00001 % of fentanyl crossing the border by destroying the economy of multiple nations.
2025-03-04 0
I still don’t get how MAGA people don’t see how Trump and his administration is screwing our economy even more than it already was!!! His policies are only making the rich even richer while suffocating even more the average American. What will it take for them to open their eyes!!!
2025-03-04 0
Instead of making speeches talk to Trump and negotiate a deal to suit both Parties, otherwise you are hurting Canada's economy
2025-03-04 0
I am sorry that our new President is such an ass. You are 100% correct, this will make it very difficult for us Americans, but he does not care. He is only out to find ways to line his personal pocket as well as the pockets of his billionare cronies. \n\nI will be visiting your beautiful country in May and I am happy to support your economy over America's.

Excelente speech!! Donald is destroying the North America economy!!
2025-03-04 0
Justin.. the economy is already shit! The economy has been shit for over a year. We aren't your friend! Where were you when Biden was burying us alive?? Why didn't you stop him??? Good luck I suppose!

I get the responde about the trade war. But where is he coming form when talking about Russia? Even when the U.S. slaps you in the face, you insists on buying the propaganda and try to get on the bad side of one of the most powerful countries? \nDo we want an alternative? Canada, you have Mexico to work with, and if you go west, you have China, the biggest economy of the world. Wake Up.
2025-03-04 0
Canada is pretty cocky right now, but with US pulling back from Ukraine it’s gonna strain EU security and economy which will totally fuk Canada.we can always focus on South America and be ok. Canada will struggle.
2025-03-04 0
This entire Trump tariff obsession has NOTHING to do with improving the US economy. It is specifically designed to destabilize the global economy, and force the all-out fighting WWIII war. The belief is this. Wreck the world, then have the oligarchs step in to fix it. Right. The very people bent on causing all the world's problems will be the saviours of mankind. Wake up world.

*Canada's Response to US Tariffs: A Measured Approach*\n\n*Executive Summary*\n\nIn response to the 25% tariffs imposed by the US on Canadian goods, Canada has announced a robust countermeasure. Effective immediately, Canada will impose 25% tariffs on $20.7 billion worth of imported goods from the US. This initial phase is part of a larger plan to impose tariffs on up to $155 billion worth of US goods, should the current tariffs remain in place.\n\n*Key Highlights*\n\n- *Tariffs on $20.7 Billion Worth of US Goods*: Canada's initial response includes tariffs on various products, such as:\n - Food and beverages: orange juice, peanut butter, wine, spirits, beer, coffee\n - Consumer goods: appliances, apparel, footwear, motorcycles, cosmetics\n - Industrial products: pulp and paper products\n- *Additional Tariffs on $155 Billion Worth of US Goods*: If the current tariffs remain in place, Canada plans to impose additional tariffs on products, including:\n - Electric vehicles\n - Fruits and vegetables\n - Beef, pork, dairy\n - Electronics\n - Steel, aluminum\n - Trucks, buses\n- *Non-Tariff Options*: Canada is exploring non-tariff options, including export restrictions and investment measures.\n- *Remission Process*: A remission process has been established to consider requests for exceptional relief from the tariffs.\n\n*Rationale*\n\nCanada's response is a direct result of President Trump's decision to impose tariffs on Canadian and Mexican goods, citing concerns over fentanyl trafficking and trade agreements. However, Canada has argued that the tariffs are unjustified and will have devastating consequences for both American and Canadian economies.\n\n*Conclusion*\n\nCanada's response to the US tariffs is a measured and targeted approach, aimed at protecting Canadian interests and jobs while also encouraging the US to reconsider its decision ¹ ² ³.

America can't sustain a trade war with China, Mexico and Canada at the same time. Our inflation will soar and our economy will tank.
2025-03-04 0
I will miss my Prime Minister Trudeau. He speaks for me, and I know, many others . . . .we aren't interested in buying American goods. We aren't interested in visiting the states. We are focused, at this point, on our own economy. In the last month I have discovered a few gems, produced by local businesses within 100 miles of where I live. Healthier for my family, healthier for my economy. More expensive, yah, a little. But in the long run, it will make us a stronger economy, a stronger nation.
2025-03-04 0
imagine being so clueless that you try to leverage the largest economy in the world with 125 bl, yes that 50 bil less than we gave to ukrain in freebies, and keep a straight face doing it. your cuck of a leader isnt helping you.
2025-03-04 0
Trudeau thinks Canada can survive a trade war? ???. Canada doesn't have anything that the US can't get for itself. Unless they want to start selling snow to the southern states. We help them by buying their crap. We dont need it like Canada needs us. We subsidize their economy in more ways than one. And Trudeau is willing to learn that the hard way it looks like.\n\nOh well, Gues Canada Wont have much of a choice but to become the 51st state
2025-03-04 0
I do not understand where all of you were before. The cars were more expensive, the canadian grown food was more expensive, the tv/cell/ internet providers were more expensive, insurances were more expensive, everything were more expensive and you expect me to support Canadian economy? I do not think so . I still buy only US products.
2025-03-04 0
We Canadians work hard to respect all cultures and peoples, we are polite when it is hard-but do not screw with our country and try to destroy our economy as a tool in your local political games. We are strategic, well educated and we will fight back and win.
2025-03-04 0
Funny nobody mentions the Canadian tariffs already in place on US goods. Good luck ruining Canadas economy. When is Trudeau leaving? ??
2025-03-04 0
@ Justin Trudeau. You have hurt us the Canadian citizens since 2020. You’ve heard the whole Canadian economy. Why did your wife leave you?\nWe don’t want to hear a thing you have to say everything is crap. Kindly going into some shell.
2025-03-04 0
Whatever. You’ll have to give in soon and accept all of the demands. Your economy can’t survive without ours. We can survive without yours.
2025-03-04 0
Yall so fkn dumb af yall dont even know the benefits behind the tariffs for us Americans. Imagine someone helping your economy and not knowing about it while you criticizing the person helping you. Thats so fkn dumb. Poor Trump i feel bad for him as they're too many ignorant people out there. Think about it how in the f does tariffs benefit Trump in any kind of way. In nothing its just for the Country thats all

Most of the world have had enough of Tramp, there is a lot of people around the world who will refuse to purchase American goods from now on and the diplomatic fallout will last for a couple of terms. Tramp will probably move to put tariffs on goods from the EU and their retaliatory tariffs will result in a 25% increase in the price of everyday products that the American public purchase. If tariffs are imposed on the EU that will mean at least 70% of American goods will have tariffs on them. Tramps next book will be, how to crash an economy within two months of taking office, so much for the art of the deal! This is a really pointless interneine trade war and the collaborator in chief getting cosy with Russia is another example of Tramps deranged priorities.

Trudeau has drug Canada's Economy Down and Held the Proud Canadian People Hostage depending on Already Unfair Tax/Trade Terriffs on American Products that have kept Trudeaus Criminal Administration!

USA!!! Buy American. Canada has been taking advantage of the US. We need to make America better!!! Having a better economy means we buy American and stop supporting foreign nations.

All Governor Trudy Mcblackface had to do was control his border like he was asked and to be a good neighbor. Trudy McBlackface also has 200% plus tariffs already on US products. He's going to kill Canada's economy because he's a sh!tbag. Do better Canada.
