50,000 canadians leave the country for the United States every year. Canada has become a neoliberal nightmare - We are inclusive and tolerant, however immigrants are primarily here for cheap labour. Your considerable credentials will grant you express entry to these ends, and nothing more. Its a scam.

As an American/Floridian a couple of comments:\n1. The US is NOT going to be colonized by larger countries!\n2. Immigration needs to be greatly reduced, not increased.\n3. Jobless and High Teck older layoffs, need to be rehired.\n4. American Unionism needs to be strengthened, through worker security.\n5. Teck industry needs Visa Moratorium, to force retention of older US workers!\n6. US Visa's are a scam played by wealthy companies, to keep wages down and fire older, experienced journeymen. \n7. Government needs much higher taxation on such companies and strict regulation.\n8. Canada is becoming a failed state, for Canadians. Much like current UK & France.

true fact \nif you are earning 15$/h (8h a day , 5days a week, 4 weeks a month ) = 2400 ... u may think that is good right ? My advice for Canada:\n1 - obviously LOWER THE TAXES ! ... this is basically a SCAM! ... 30$/h may sounds good while in reality is less than 20$/h because of hidden fees(Taxes) ... YOU ARE SCAMMING PPL!\n\n2 - Its utterly stupid to ask for doctors and architects when you don't have a proper vacancy waiting for them, make the immigration process way easier , as soon as a vacancy represents itself act on it and get the ppl in, don't do all the licensing/registrations ... all that over kill process slow the whole thing down , let them learn by doing !! ... that would get the ball going way easier and way faster! , just make sure immigrants who are willing to do it have a good understanding of english.\n\n3 - Easy up on the registration/licensing process , not everything needs to be perfect , let the doctors, architects and technicians work as Interns Immediately or even Pre-Interns .... that way you would have more doctors and no body needs to wait for 2 years for a fkin CHECK UP! ... that is sooo buzzer and I bit its only getting worse!\n\n 4 - try make organized Social events to allow people to socialize better with each other and make friends or families...\n 5 - for the climate, doing nothing 9 months a year is stupid! and boring! , u must find a way to make inclosed warm facilities for newcomers and residents to enjoy.

University students who spend 100k+ on education and are in the Canadian system are having problems getting residency, whereas shady people who get here illegally or get residency by immoral do it without much problem. I mean not even illegals but some south asians who are literally scamming and exploiting the system, have no problem and then when you take people from very low income class enter your country and who do uncivilized things you are astonished what else you are expecting a lot of them are uneducated who are not civilized, make your screening process better, if you want immigrants due to labour shortages and slow population increase, try to incorporate students and potential people who have more chances to fit your society. Just more than a year living here in Canada realizations:\n\n1. So cold. Not everytime you can be so productive because the weather is a big hindrance\n2. As an immigrant, you will start from scratch. There will be great opportunities, sometimes really fast promotions or salary increase but workplaces are always short staffed that the amount of work is not worth it with how much the salary is. \n3. Some people still have preferences and you will really feel discriminated.\n4. People are polite, I am very impressed but so individualistic, it's sad. Growing in a country with a very collective type of community, you will really fee the void once you try living in Canada. you can't fully relate to everyone, be free to talk to them about everything because you rarely have common ground or understanding. I feel bad for the Canadians, its so hard to build relationships here in this country. Some of them might never experienced living that everyone of their schoolmates understand and laughs at the same meme because all of them have the same backgrounds and can relate.\n5. Housing prices are so high, it is so surprising for a country with big land mass but with very few population. Like how can be the house this expensive when winter is long, houses are wood and not stone and groceries, mall and other recreational areas are far?\n\nOverall, it's like a big scam going here in Canada. The biggest thing positive here is how powerful the currency is and the country being part of G7 and neighbor of US. Also it has very well preserved environment, scenic views. The government does everything to discourage Canadians to have children, but plans to increase immigration. 500,000 a year? This is social engineering and importing potential voters. Plain and simple. Many countries have much lower education standards, and they just can't come here and work in the same field as back home. We can't lower our standards. By the way – so much talk about colonialism. And how can we call the immigration practice that snatches the educated while they are needed in their own countries? And where they will be housed? Half mil people every single year? Now to rent an apartment borders with a miracle. So, Trudeau want as to live on the street because he will have to house newcomers. What a scam. And what about schools and daycares? It is sick and I am totally fed up.

Well, if u don't get into an actual university, \nUofT, Waterloo, McMaster etc...\nDont go to international private college.. its a scam. Ive seen Canadians (non first gen immigrants) go to these fake schools and not get anything valuable. There's so many fake schools. CANADA HAS FAKE SCHOOLS period. Its not just international students, its also born and raised canadians, struggling to pay the loans after fake useless diplomas.

My wife, my 3 kids and I used to like Vancouver but not anymore!!! The weather is why we plan to leave for good but also the expensive rents! I also heard about horror stories at many hospitals (and yes, I have worked in Africa and to be honest, Africans hospitals are way more functional than the ones in Canada in terms of human aspect… there they care, Canadians do not give a shit about anyone!!! And I am saying this as a Belgian!!! I have some African colleagues at work here and at least 80 percent of them either want to go back to Africa (one is actually going to start an Afro business there and build his own house) or move to Europe (one of them plans to live to my homeland Belgium and two others in France as apparent the pensions there are way better than the Canadian one) as soon as they get enough experience in canada! None of us at work , including me, want to retire or get old here in Canada! For me personally, it is the Canadian extreme loneliness and lack of willingness to open to others that really shuts me down… I am fed up and and tired of paying taxes in a country where some (not all) hospitals and some retirement homes treat patients like … objects, not human beings! It's an immigrant quota goverment tax scam. They need self sustained educated immigrants to raise tax money for the locals without being a burden for the government. Once in Canada they don't care how you do. As far as technical or high pay occupations they are controlled by unions which make gualifying degree holder immigrants pay exorbitants amounts of money and go though so much red tape that make it almost impossible for them to practice in their field. Their degree qualifies them to come to Canada, that's all. Once in the degrees even if better than Canada's standards, they are worthless. Engineering, medical fields are run by unions whose only purpose is to ensure Canadian born high payed proffesionals in those fields and others are guaranteed a lavish life through an endless pool of ever growing customers for a short list of elite board certified providers. It's a scam, a well thought one red seal approved by Ottawa. Get your foot in the country to escape the hell in your origin country, work through towards your citizenship which is always handy to have and bail out for better opportunities else where outside Canada. I am actually shocked by people in the comment here. All talked like you knew a lot of things of immigration and citizenship. Loll but many don’t even know the first thing, the difference between permanent residence and citizenship. Immigration jail is referred to PR required living time in Canada. PR don’t have a Canadian passport and only citizens can have it. Once you are a Canadian citizen, you don’t need to live in Canada for a required time. China does not allow dual citizenship and that is why they try to scam the system to make up the living time in Canada.

I've spoken to a few who have been scammed by Canadian immigration lawyers in BC! Fortunately for them nothing illegal actually happened! In fact, nothing happened at all and the lawyers just took the money! Have to be very careful who one trusts.

I watch the border crossing show sometimes and when they come back from “vacationing “ in China and pretend that they haven’t brought anything with them and when their bags are inspected they have tons of stuff and have way exceeded the limits and they barely get a verbal reprimand.
