I dont know wtf is this. My friend moved to Montreal , pretty quickly got a studio for 600 euro near downtown. And she says the minimum wage is enough to cover all expenses, and she is new there. She likes it there more than in Dubai, and she had a great and well-paid job in Dubai.\nYes, canada can still do better and should have higher salaries or at least lower cost of house rent. But come on, mist contries cant offer even survival on average salary! \nOK TORONTO AND VANQUVER are expensive but there are other cities where u can survive. Its bwtter than nothing. In most bullshit contries u will work for 500 dollars or even less. And u cant afford shit for those money.

My daughter is nearing the end of 2 great years in Canada on an IEC (backpacker) visa from Australia. She’s loved the people, the landscape (mostly lived in BC and Alberta) , and working there…. She picked up interesting jobs, worked very hard, just about made ends meet, has been great. \n\nShe was even offered a permanent job by a major Canadian co last year (she was working for them on a one year role at the time) that would’ve paved the way for her to apply for PR…but she turned it down without a second thought….. for all the reasons you would know about \n\n- Wages aren’t great (maybe 20% less than australia), \n\n- taxes are high (incl having to pay CPP…in australia the employer pays all pension contributions, on top of wages), \n\n- groceries prices out of kilter, \n\n- rents consume most of what’s left…. \n\n- AND, even if you could save a deposit for a house, or shoebox apartment….what’s the point, could never afford it. \n\nShe’s seen nearly all her Canadian friends resigned to their fate of being perennial renters, of being perpetually skint. It’s no life. She’s sad to see it - coming from a country of perpetual optimism and opportunity, to learn over time how such a (on many levels) similar country isn’t like that, that has somehow got it all so wrong. \n\nIf you are thinking of “australia” as your answer, it’d be a fair call\n\n- Avoid Sydney if you can (a less expensive Vancouver) but rest of the place is “workable”. \n\n- Average wage in Perth is $100k (C$90k) and average house (full size…not an apt or townhouse) price is about $700k (C$630k) …so do-able, if tight to start with, for youngsters (like you..!) \n\n- I’ve been to Vancouver’s East Hastings St, and so can confirm is nowhere close to that in Oz. Are sketchy parts of all cities, but it’s definitely not community wide\n\n- are small pockets of homelessness (esp but not only indigenous community) but the governments are mostly (sort of…) “on it” \n\n- sun, sea, sand… and the sharks rarely come close to shore!

?this is so accurate. I was in Australia 2011, as a Backpacker ..?it was amazing. The beaches, the landscapes, the people. But, we where surrounded by other tourists. They have 6 million backpackers each year! When I was back in Germany I met an aussie couple and they offered me a job near the great barrier reef. \nI didn't took it, but I would love to visit the country again with my kids this time. If India government can spend billions on submarines and rocket to visit the moon why can the spend just some millions on building universities and employing teachers from some of these countries to educate their students if the indians from these western countries leave their top jobs sell their assets wire all the proceeds back to India come back to their home land open there own business all these Western countries will be at a great loss 2 India will get richer by wealth and a workforce of another level plenty indians hold positions in companies that are very hard to replace top indian scientists that is a very big loss all of this will make India better but to come back to a country that is full of corruption from governments to temples to churches to police to health care terrorists, rapist, kidnapping, extortion, tefth, scammers, you name it very hard to come back to a primitive democracy ???? won't you say?

As a white Brazilian, I would say my experience was quite good (I've returned home less than 1 month ago). \n\nApart of some obvious jokes about the 7-1, I've never faced anyone who made me feel unwelcome or undesired, quite the opposite in many situations. Being of German descent certainly made things better. Other white Brazilians I've met told me they had similar experiences.\n\nUnfortunately, immigrants from other Global South countries and non-white Brazilians probably have very different experiences, for the worse. I've heard many unpleasant comments from my German friends and colleagues regarding turks, Arabs, africans and other immigrants from the South of the world. It's certainly a problem for many skilled workers who are not white and could contribute for the country, but they can't thanks to racism.\n\nIn my view, apart of racism, another great problem in Germany when it comes to foreign skilled workers is the lack of digitalization in the country and the bad Internet. Many jobs require good internet connection and digitalization, which are not always provided by the Germans , unlike virtually all the other European countries including much poorer ones. \n\nHaving said that, Germany has many good-hearted, kind and welcoming people (except the racists, of course), and a fantastic culture.

I am Indian descent my parents came here with proper immigration process and brought money to put in Canadian economy. It was fine before when immigration was minimal. Now it doesn’t even feel like Canada anymore. They come here then enforced their beliefs/culture on Canada if we keep that up, there will be no Canada it will become India,Punjab,Middle East and Africa etc. You’re doing a great job please keep it up.

We need cut spending especially so many social programs on tax payers dollars. Lots of interesting comments. What I think has happened is due to selfishness and greed over decades. Nobody here works to better their town, province, country. While I have worked for a company run by Indians and they were great but there are a few Indians who are total Indians who don’t care about their actions! As a truck driver Indians are more and more becoming truck drivers but they don’t respect others! Pooping in urinals using washrooms and leaving them very dirty. Driving erratically just acting like someone else is to clean up behind them! Now Indians working retail and service jobs are great I sooner deal with them than white people! I try to deal with Indians with respect as well as other nationalities saying thank you to people isn’t a bad idea.

Me & my family are Canadian citizen living here from 15 years, however if all goes as per plan with gods grace will be returning to India permanently soon.\n\nYes the facts covered are correct, the second part in video has got worse here.\n\nAlso in last 5 years many Indians came on site or with PR, before that work culture was very great, our Indians specially this TCS, Infosys & those on site brought all the garbage politics and their bad habits with them, therefore work & life balance has disturbed horribly.\n\nWith Gods blessings We are very well set here but my family is not happy here.\n\nOur country India has problems same like other countries but many good things.\n\nFrankly those from crowded cities like Mumbai & those completely dependent on jobs can come here however those having good pay in India, good house living with family stay there.\n\nMany come for show off here, winter life for 6-7 months is super dull here, don't get fooled by the Instagram snow pictures. It's great that immigrant dreams are coming true, but what about my (and other citizen dreams)? I can't own a home, have my dream job (because they are all being taken by low-wage workers or outsourced) and potentially not even be able to afford children, let alone a vehicle.

No wonder we have so many low-skilled immigrants in recent years. Thanks to this dumbest policy issued in 2020, we basically opened the door and welcomed visitors to get work permits whenever they want. labor shortage due to covid?\nShould have ended this stupid policy in 2022 when everything was opening up and getting better already. Also, instead of improving the working environment and coming up with solutions for the local Canadian workforce to cope with covid impacts, we just welcomed all random visitors to come to Canada to work. all these indian new comers in the past 3-4 years have used the loopholes of this policy with the help of unethical Indian immigration agents and employers who are only trying to save money to provide them employment letters so they could get work permits \nNo wonder we have so many low skilled Indians that have brought and created issues in Canada. Have we noticed car accident rates increase? The unethical visits to the food bank? 10y in Germany, naturalized German now. I’ve done my PhD here and I have a great job in an American company. German society is possibly the most unwelcoming in the world, and I’ve lived and worked in 7 countries. Germany needs workers, but Germans hates foreign workers.

Understand that Education system has become a business these days. Do you think that Indian students come to Canada by spending 10 times more for education, because they learn some great techniques or lessons? It is only with the hope that after the education they can get a high paying job in Canada. Indian education system is far better than Canada's. In fact Canadian universities badly need these students, else they may not be able to pay salaries to their professors or universities will shut down. So after these students came here by taking high loans, now you change the rule/law is giving hard time to these students. You guys attract these students by showing them hope. This world is so closely connected and it can not be operated by rules. You need to understand the reality and work with empathy.

Because there are not enough jobs and housing to go around but also there is a great deal of crimes by people from the Punjab etc. The pooping thing is true and they refuse to adapt to the culture. Indians need to build their country and stop fleeing. This mass migration has made people hate all Indians.
