As a child of a first generation immigrant, this is horrible and WRONG. My dad and his family fled Nicaragua in the late 80's when the socialists took over. And it was a real war zone. The government stole their land, homes, and k!lled people they knew. On the way to the airport my dad (who was a small child at the time) saw dead bodies in the street. Thankfully they made it to the USA and were able to rebuild their lives and become proud American citizens. They did it LEGALLY. It makes me so mad when I see footage like this. Latin here, I came here legally but I can tell you that it was difficult as hell for my mom to bring me here, it took money and years for that, but I want you as a fellow citizen to understand their situation first, in Latin America you could be graduation from college and even with that having a good job it’s difficult sometimes, unlike here education in Latin America is not always something that all people can get and every time they vote for someone it becomes more trashier, housing for the poor doesn’t even exist, half of the country is corrupt and going outside you don’t who you may find, my brother needs to wait 7 years to become a resident (not citizen) he will be 30 something at that point, what the government should do is make the residency easier and I can tell you something like this wouldn’t occur that easily, my mom is a lawyer in my country and I can tell you the situation wasn’t easy, every three times a week there would be shooting outside my house, drug dealer was my neighbor, and at the age of 15 there would parents of two kids the sad part all this is normal, stopping it is imposible because it gets you kill, the police will kill you for doing a peaceful protest just to stop feminicide, wanting your kid to go outside without being scare something would happen to them, this people want peace and a job that is it and when your own country doesn’t even give you the right for that how could you live? Latin America is like living in the worst state in U.S multiply by 1000 and happening the same thing every day, riots or protest are imposible there because you know the police will never go the peaceful way, what this people are doing is wrong but they just want to live, it even surprise how much people hate their president here when in Latin America there hasn’t been any good president in decades. I don't think they're doing this to be charitable to families, none of this even appears to be normal over the years. They can't house them, or our own people. while I agree with a lot of this video theres one crucial aspect this video neglects and same with the commenters here.. POPULATION. \n\nCompared to countries like denmark, sweden, japan, france, uk, etc. we have a much bigger country to maintain landmass wise. Infrastructure. I could go on and on how the 70s-90s were one of the best time periods in modern history for various reasons but I wont. There are problems internationally, we live in a globalist world. We still have it good. Go travel and make international friends. This is nothing that we are dealing with at the moment. All I will say though is leave the huge metropolitans like Toronto and Vancouver. Everyone wants to go there because they think 'theres more opportunity' ugh. Theres opportunity across canada but if everyone things like that there will be problems. The idea of Ontario or BC is just a big nope for me (although I go to BC every couple years, love it there I would not want to live there).

I came to Canada 2months back with a job with an above average salary but already figured I can't stay here for too long as it's not a place to settle down unless you are a factory/construction labour. It's a beautiful beautiful country with so many amazing people. But people who are running this country are not passionate or caring about Canada rather to their capitalist masters. For every problem I hear that it's not clear whose responsibility it is, fed, state or city or district etc. If you love Canada why would it be so difficult to figure that out as it is not a country created 2 years back. And housing prices can't be fixed till a decade at least, as you can't expect to devalue the assets by half suddenly, so you have to wait till the inflation normalizes it.

If América don't stop this and keep accepting this total of immigrants, I'm afraid that America will feel in so much pressure that will do the same thing that President Putin have done with Ukraine. But if we see the full picture of this events, it seens like out there there is a Unites State enemy who is using the brain ? on using this poor people are destructive weapon, motivating them to come, not to help this People, but to bring more cause in the economy of A.erica dn pudding our own people against our self. Think about it! This is not normal, if we can't how much immigrants have already came, we are talking about million of immigrants. What are they go to eat, drink !? Is very simple ! It's normal to find homeless people in any place in the world...for me a country that is zero corruption is the best.

My parents came to this country in the 70s from a small country in SAmerica. they brought me 3 years later and my handicap brother 2 years later. The USA embassy made my parents sign a paper stating that my brother will not used any government assistance ( he had polio when he was little so he has to walk with scratches) and that's what my parents did until my brother got a job. He worked for 40 years in the same job until he retired 6 years ago. With the exception of the mass rehab center for job training, my brother never used government assistance. \nI remember my mother and I we used to wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning to shovel the snow from the driveway so it would be safe for him to walk to his car to go to work at 5 am. I am very proud of my brother. \nSome people think that receiving government assistance is smart, but we think is not bc it makes you a dependent, you loose your sovereignty as an individual. And these people don't realize that. Personally I think these people are getting paid to do this bc this is not normal. \nIn the other hand, the USA government in the quest to protect its interests ( mainly the corporate interests) support candidates that will go along with what the US says. \nI would like to point out that in this country, there's plenty of corruption, do u do anything about it? ! Would we not normally describe this as an invasion? Any other country would not tolerate this and we are fools for allowing it here. We can't even afford it here ourselves... Try to get your country back under control if possible. There is already so much competition right now in Denver that I will need a wife to afford to buy a home here. It is ridiculously hard to get a home here unless you make $100k a year and were sent here from California with $50-100k support from their families, us normal people cannot compete with that.

Well ,there it is than. I live in the Netherlands and as a Dutch I can tell you we pay also a lot of tax compared to our salary, but public facilities, healthcare, roads, buildings and almost everything else is insanely well arranged. But I wonder, I often see that salaries in the USA and Canada easily can be 80K-150K for 'normal' jobs........well in the Netherlands by far most people do not make 50K a year before tax. So if your are complaining in Canada that the taxes are so high, than there is no other explanation that in the basis goods/services/utility bills are much more expensive compared to your salary right? If you introduce multicultural immigration, it allows those who come in to adjust at a normal and consistent pace. This allows immigrants to get the education they need, the job they need, and the position they are qualified and skilled for. Forced diversity only breaks the system, and immigrants gets lost in it and are not able to get the necessary education and skill they need. Therefore, you have the lack of diversity in any corporation or business that are operating today.

People in the comments who are claiming they came a long time ago and feel so good about Canada are the reason the costs of living is continually raising. They didn't understand Canadians were already making them pay more but to them it was normal now, even themselves they raise the rents of the real estate they had time to buy for low prices and feel they accomplished the dream but at the detriments of the new immigrants.

I've been Canadian my whole life, but went to California for vacation when I was a teen. At least where I'm from in Canada (BC) its just normal to smile and say hi when passing by someone. It just feels nice to do. But in California, I'd be left feeling embarrassed, people looking at me like I'm weird for smiling at strangers

This describes my experience living in japan vs america. My biggest concern is now bringing my daughter back who has never lived in the states. I grew up in Chicago but she only knows SAFE Japan. And these fools making me move to north carolina at a base right next to the hood ?. You never realize how safe other places are until you move out of tne states. Even on their worst day, people running into schools and harming people just isnt normal in other places.

I moved from the U.S. to Canada. Some observations:\n1. It's unbelievably safe in Canada. The most dangerous places in Canada are still very safe compared to much of the U.S.\n2. Outside of DC and New York and I guess Chicago and L.A. in the U.S. and Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, you need a car. I disagree that city planning is that much better in Canada.\n3. The maternity leave in Canada is great \n4. The unemployment insurance in Canada is great too\n5. I prefer the Canadian health care system. I never experienced any long wait times. My wife had literal brain surgery and it was free whereas it would've been hundreds of thousands of dollars in the U.S.\n6. Canada is further to the left and is much more woke than the U.S. Everything here is about equity, diversity and inclusion. Even many Canadian conservatives would be moderates in the U.S. but most people know this already.\n7. There is a better work life balance in Canada. I worked a lot more when living in the U.S.\n8. Most Canadians live by the U.S. border  so the weather is not that different than most northern American states. But once you go to northern Canada, it is as cold as they say it is.\n9. The U.S. is better for making money.\n10. It is much more racially segregated in the U.S. \n11. Outside cities like Montreal and Toronto, Canada is very white.\n12. Things are much more spread out in Canada. When I lived in the U.S. driving for 1 hour to go somewhere was a long drive. In Canada, that is normal.\n13. Canada is pretty great if you like the outdoors. There's only 36 million people here and outside the major cities, you find small towns and the wilderness. \n14. Canadians are quite friendly. I know my neighbors in the country. I never knew my neighbors in the U.S.\n15. Canadian politics is boring and I like this. How is our health care system going to handle an extra 500k people coming to Canada every year. We have a serious health care crisis happening here. I don't even have a doctor and I expect I will never have a family doctor ever again. I also expect that the Canadian Government will make sure every Immigrant who comes to Canada will have a family doctor or some special set up for them to make sure they can get their health taken care of. While the rest of us who were born in Canada will be left on the sides for at least 40 years as it's going to take at least 40 years of making sure we train and attract as many new doctors as we can. It is going to take a long time due to the Government of Canada let this issue go without doing anything about the degradation of our health care for the past 20 years. It will soon become normal for multiple people to die every week while waiting in emergency rooms for help due to wait times of 72 hours or more on a regular basis. Its been in the news several times this year already but soon it will be in the news every week.
