There have been Indians here my whole life. They were very respectable, hard working and educated. They integrated well into Canadian society and contributed. The past 10 years or so we have been flooded with Indians and Middle Easterners who refuse to integrate and have a taking mentality. It’s making Canadians very angry and resentful. Yes I would blame Indian government and immigration Agents in India and Indian immigration agents in Canada. Canada have their rules and standard which are clearly stipulated. First of all if Indian students get student visa it is supposed to be supported by a college or university where they're going to spend number of years in the college, during the period they are supposed to have declared their day to day needs Canadian Government are not responsible for students health or their food. It it is their own responsibility student can not come to Canada on visa and start working I would suggest that before they start this process from India they would be able to evaluate the honesty of immigration agents in India I do feel pity for all these illegal students who came to Canada by getting conned by Agents both in India and in Canada.

It is mostly the fault of the incompliant and corrupt Liberal government for the massive influx of unskilled India workers/students. Under previous sane governments, there were manageable caps that controlled the influx and allowed for proper immigration of vetted and skilled workers, but the Liberals stopped properly vetting people and basically opened the flood gates. For a Canadian company to hire foreign workers, they used to have to prove there were no Canadian workers to do that job, so foreign workers were mostly used in seasonal agriculture work, but due to very shady government deals with big corporations Trudeau approved paying wage subsidy and turning a blind eye to Canadian workers so Singh Hortons (and many other big businesses) could have workers for a cut rate and the government tax dollars paid up to 70% of wages and welfare. Also Foreign workers think they can stay here once their visa's expire, refusing to leave. There is simply no need for Canada to bring in over a million Indians that are in hard times in their own country. Our welfare or culture can't stand it. Not sure if you missed it or not, but India's foreign minister at the start of summer, thanked Trudeau for taking all their criminals, and low caste people. But People need to follow proper immigration policy, and not buy a ticket to Canada from a India scammer guaranteeing citizenship, which has been the case as well. See you are a respectful and good citizen who we would have no problem welcoming to Canada. It's the others who are ignorant and who do not respect our countries culture. If you plan to immigrate you must respect our culture and act as nice or nicer than the reputation us Canadians have. The reason we are upset with some Indians is they have no respect. Some of them throw their garbage everywhere on the streets on the beaches on our walkways. I get in India the culture there may allow you to throw garbage in the streets and lakes and rivers. It seems like all they did was mass import people from India. They can hardly even speak English. I love my second gen immigrants Indians and they're parents the immigrated properly, not coming in as students and demand PR and don't want to leave. No houses. No jobs. These students smash cars, have 0 manners, throw garbage on streets, 20 in homes, increased crimes and total disrespect to citizens that have lived here for generations. Yeah, I agree with you, I have friends that are Indians and never had a problem. If the liberal government had made sure that we had the number of houses to accept all these immigrants and they brought in the people we need and not trouble makers we wouldn't be seeing this problem. I am Canadian born citizen, unemployed, 2 and a 1/2 years. Because I didn't know that the Trudeau government in 2022 when I lost my job due to the pandemic was allowing them to import T.F.W's as executive assistance my level of experience into my industry. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get an interview withe almost 20yrs of experience and I was trying every trick in the book but a week ago I learned that they brought in over 2 years 300,000 admins at all levels from E.A's to receptionist now. So imagine my horror and shock to learn that 5 days ago. But you walk in everywhere. And it's just Indians from every part of South Asia and I am all for immigration I'm a child of an immigrant, but immigration is a science When dealing with a country like Canada, where it's designed to be many cultures like a 20 bean soup. You're supposed to try and keep it at being a 20 bean soup and within 3 years it became like a 2 bean soup. It's a science where you're replacing your dead, and then you bump it up like 10% to grow the population slowly with GDP so that you don't have so many Canadians. Unemployed and temporary foreign workers that come are employed. So everybody's contributing but the way they did the open door everybody bum rush. And over run the country. Our economy is now 60% dependent on people who aren't residents. They're temporary which means when they leave our fake economy is actually only built on 40% to 30% of Canadians. That's an economy that will crash because it's never supposed to be weighted that way, Canadians are supposed to be 60% to 70% of the economy and foreign workers are to be the rest. So we're in trouble when they finally go home, but they need to put a moratorium on PR's, Work permits, LIMA's, T.F.W's and restrict all educational institutions on how many Students they can accept so private schools don't scam students by taking their money then telling them they don't have a seat for them to attend class that is just criminal and do so untill end of 2025 and then review status again for 2026. So Canadians can have a shot at getting work and then slowly introduce them back in as needed for proper slow population growth and not just a free-for-all ability to work anywhere in the whole country. Major cities and everything like that. So people like me can finally get back to work.

I was never racist or taught to see people of other ethnicities or religions as inferior so I don't hate Indians, nor do I show them disrespect unless warranted but the rampant abuse of our systems has messed up so many things. I know of large families of Indians who came as asylum seekers who'd come over separately while claiming different names so when they all come together some families are getting $30k or more per month just for being here. They drive expensive new luxury vehicles and mostly wear expensive designer clothes and are given homes while at the same time us Canadians born and raised here are struggling to even get to eat well every day or have a home to begin with. It's not entirely the fault of Indians, the blame also needs to be shared by our gov't as well since they opened the borders and have mostly waived the process of vetting who comes into our country. It's never a bad thing to have people who genuinely add to the collective greatness of a country but we have let in too many freeloaders and even criminals, the Indian gangs extorting businesses for millions in BC and Alberta for example. Nothing wrong with Indian immigrants as long as we can balance the needs and safety of everyone involved as well. Right now there is no balance and the results are catastrophic. Many (not all) of these students are cheats who cheat on their scores..amd make it by falsifying data needed to make the cut. They should be sent back...ask them to speak English for once..In Canada be Canadian..not Indian.

I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. While you’re at it go look up who was determined to be some of the greatest Canadians.

Those 1000 should have been all deported as they were obviously not ready to live in Canada. There are many more examples of how immigrants are ruining our budding culture.

The caregiver program should go through reform. With the current immigration law with giving the caregivers Permanent Residency putting a lot of pressure on the employers who are working hard and paying taxes to bring the caregivers in Canada. The caregivers are taking advantages by exercising their rights as soon as they lands in Canada. Where is the protection for the employers who are working round the clock to bring the caregivers but the caregivers are abusing the systems and goodwills of the employers. The caregiver program should be like it was before when the caregivers needed to work here for 10 years to get the permanent residency. Otherwise it is becoming difficult for the employers to retain the newly hired caregivers under the new program as the caregivers are getting PR as soon as they lands. Employers need protection. Employers brings caregivers from foreign lands and as soon as they arrive the caregivers can quit and change employer and start exercising their rights as PR - it has to stop to protect the employer because of the employers hard earned money and goodwill they can land here, employers should not suffer for their goodwill and needs.\nWe Canadian employers need workers not the abusers.\nThe caregivers should be brought in temporary work permit and sent back or give PR after 10 years after they contribute to Canada but not award them with PR as soon as they land. Otherwise the lack of workers in this field will never be fulfilled. Many people from poor countries like Philippines are waiting eagerly to come even with low wages, because the money they get is huge compared to any third world countries.\nThis is not justice to indian students who came here to study are preparing to contribute are being sent back.

Understand that Education system has become a business these days. Do you think that Indian students come to Canada by spending 10 times more for education, because they learn some great techniques or lessons? It is only with the hope that after the education they can get a high paying job in Canada. Indian education system is far better than Canada's. In fact Canadian universities badly need these students, else they may not be able to pay salaries to their professors or universities will shut down. So after these students came here by taking high loans, now you change the rule/law is giving hard time to these students. You guys attract these students by showing them hope. This world is so closely connected and it can not be operated by rules. You need to understand the reality and work with empathy.

Get the right people for the right jobs, if you MUST bring in immigrants!\nThere are plenty of Canadian people who can do low wage jobs. Besides, low wage jobs are a good opportunity for youngsters to learn good skills while earning some money on the side to save for college. You need people to fill up roles in corporate jobs to boost production, because Canada is seriously behind in technology. Healthcare needs serious people too. There is no point in bringing promising doctors and healthcare practitioners who can improve healthcare services and the number of capable doctors here, but have them working low wage jobs instead to make ends meet. That is unfair to those people and unfair to Canadians who need good medical services in lieu of the taxes that they pay. I'm 52 years old and a Canadian citizen my whole life. Canada has always been a welcoming country. I have friends from every part of the world here in Canada. But in the couple years there has been a brutal influx of Indians in Canada. My build alone had maybe 3 Indian households. Now more than 60% of the building is indians. And the problem is 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We use to have 1 garbage bin in the basement. Now we have 3 and they are over flowing and they leave garbage everywhere( I've watched them do it). Not everyone has house keys so they leave the security door open all hours of the day allowing criminals to get into the building. They have shit in the laundry room and the garage(I have seen this happen). They smoke in the building halls and lobby. They Dont use laundry detergent when washing their clothes so the laundry machines stink really bad. I have to was the laundry machine before even putting my clothes in.Also they have taken every job in the business in my neighborhood. They aren't very friendly. They come into my restaurant and act like entitled brats and hang out for 6 to 7 hours in groups of 20 and don't tip. They're loud and demanding. Now our regular client's have stopped coming. Since these new Indians have come here they have tainted everything. I have never been a racist individual in my whole life. My family is very diverse. We are white, black, packistan, and Asian. In the last 3 years I am so disgusted in the quality of people that have been coming to this country. The biggest group is Indians. I'm sorry but be don't need any more of these assholes. I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! Employees in Walmart, Costco, Tim Hortons (especially!), etc., are seen standing around, chatting with each other in their Indian languages instead of being professionally attentive to customers. The shopping experience is not pleasant like it was 25 years ago!! Your remarks are not harsh and Indians NEED to take it personally and be embarrassed into doing the necessary to make the changes they need to. We immigrated to Canada not to come to 'another India' - we came to Canada and would like to live in this country to appreciate it's uniqueness and contribute to maintaining it the way it has been! The presenter has done a good job with this video. Very fair. The highly ignoramus Liberal Government leader with his Indian goons in tow - esp that sell-out NDP leader whose support of Trudope has gotten us in such a mess in this country - are totally to blame!! Look at the state of India - with all the money and tech and education for urban dwellers and the elite, the country still wallows in filth and the poor continue to suffer great poverty while the rich get richer and call it karma when the poor suffer - while not lifting a finger to alleviate their poverty..... izzath ka saval hai (matter of respect! - greatly valued!!) - is only personal and selfish and related to one's own family and status - to hell with the rest of the country and people!! They brag about the lavish living of the Ambanis and Goenkas, etc - while the world sees the social injustice and gross disparity born of self-indulgence, selfishness and greed that is at the heart of Indian life in India!

And this is why we shouldn’t pay crazy sums of money to foreign universities- it’s a rip off. They can tell you to go back home anytime after pocketing your parent’s life savings. \n\nIt’s easy for them to say go back - what people don’t realize is that if an Indian pays fees in Canadian dollars, they will need at least 15 yrs of earning in Rupees to pay it back. Where it would take only 2-3 yrs in Canada in earn the same amount. \n\nSo basically you ruin your life if you pay fees in CAD and then return to India immediately - you need to stay at least long enough to recover your fees.\n\nAdditionally, Canadian university degrees are not valued in the Indian job market, just the work experience. \nSo best not to pay to study in foreign university if they can’t guarantee 2-3 yrs of work. After that you can always return, it’s actually better.

Canada is a proxy colony of USA. Most of them works for USA based companies or it firms. And true fact is any big country need proxy or supportive country to makes herself powerful. Even look at old Indian kingdoms they also capture from Iran and Iraq in west to Indonesia, cambodia in east.

This isn't Anti Indian policy. Canada now doesnt need more immigrants to be permanent its as simple as that.

I was born in Canada and applied for a part-time job at a restaurant around the corner by an Indian employment agency. I have multiple years experience. I was told to report to the manager, who was a Sikh. I did online training and never scheduled. I was never paid for my training and told I was not needed and would have to reapply. Everyone who works at this restaurant is south-Asian or from India. Why do we need workers from 12,000 km away when people around the corner are looking for work? It's literally like a summer camp with students from India. The Trudeau government never should have increased immigration so quickly. Major mistake.

Indians need to get out of Canada. Stay in your own country. You are just like the Chinese. You are too many of you and you are overrunning the rest of the world. Plus you don’t understand hygiene.

Canada has finally woken up. There is no labor shortage, there is job shortage. Canadians need jobs. Once an Indian gets a job, they hire only Indians.
