Not all provinces are as expensive as BC. The old expresion of BC-bring cash . On the other side of the rockies there,s something called Chinook winds , which deposits warm air from ,yup from ,BC and it,s dry as well . This is pretty funny. I'm Canadian and my best friend is an economist working for the government on demographic issues full time. Just has an FYI canada has seen its highest immigration rate in the past 50 years last year. I can also see and feel all the immigrants moving in the job market. I'm not so sure why those videos keep being produced. This country is not perfect but it's better than many other places in the world. For example, canada is barely affected by climate change because we already have resilient infrastructure. When it comes to housing it's not so much that the governement does not allow for more building than the fact that it's hard to build affordable homes because the homes in canada require a lot of work due to the nature of the climate. (Has a trained carpenter and GC I know.) It's also very far from all of the world's chaos. All those emerging wars will affect Europe directly but all we get are some small economic backlashes. Anyhow, I've been living here for my whole 31 years of life and I've enjoyed the place and its peace. What I dislike is the cold and the lack of sun. Some times i watch videos on differents experiences others migrants experiencing here Canada and we re on same boat. That s why i also made choice to move out in Colombia on the beach for my retirement.Then im here giving some advise. As immigrant myself, African from Gabon, we experiencing same realities of the West since 10 years now. At some point, i can say there s something broken in this country since last 6-8 years. As you making decision to leave Canada on the reasons you expressed, it is very important for you not be wrong chosing the wrong place again. You need to think about it seriously. Straight, can tell you 100% United states is worse than Canada as Muslim family to live in. You need to read all suggestions given in this Video. As a lot people suggested you in the comments, i totally agree with em that Malaysia, is the Top one based of the reasons you explained why you leaving Canada. Maybe Turkey and UAE as second choice. Since you both mentioned about the choice of doing Umrah more often , choosing Saudi Arabia would be a wise decision along with other factors that you mentioned in the video. An Islamic environment, nice weather especially western and southern parts of Saudi Arabia. Other main cities such as Riyadh and Dammam has a decent winter where temperatures hovers around 10 to 15 deg C for few weeks.Makkah and Madinah itself is a place to live but madinah has a more calm and peaceful atmosphere compared to Makkah. If not, Jeddah which is jus 30 mins to Makkah and 2 hrs to madinah by train. \n\nAnd you will also have quality of life especially the food and housing also and never to worry about halal foods. Education for kids will be on the costlier side, but again you don't have to ay any income tax. If you're on resident visa the only fee that comes is a dependent fee for your family dependent members ,lets say in your case 3. But if you're on premium visa such as investor visa etc i think there are exceptions. Also to take note saudi arabia doesn't offer citizenship. You can be here on resident permit of varying validity depending on the visa you choose to have.

Great video! Here's my 2 cents: The Social scene is a Western thing. Difucuty meeting friends is a well-documented thing about Vancouver. I think it's because Vancouver has three large ethnic monocultures, and they're all preoccupied with money. West Coast is lifestyle over the social scene. At the same time, Toronto is much more diverse culturally and economically, and culturally, it has a more outgoing social norm. The housing crunch is partially driven by supply and demand, at least not here in greater Vancouver, where I can see hundreds of brand-new condominiums and townhomes empty or for sale. The real issue is the lack of affordable housing. I've lived in Canada my whole life, and im also considering leaving.

This is a very thoughtful and balanced review. As a retired Canadian who had a good job for most of my life, I'm saddened by the decline in almost all areas of life, lifestyle and and people's aspirations in this country. This decline actually seems quite rapid, I would say from 2015 onwards. Housing in major centres was expensive, but it has skyrocketed in the past decade. There has been a decline in many institutions: 1. health-care, especially noticeable since the pandemic that coincided with many boomer medical staff retiring, but also by our sclerotic institutions refusing to enable foreign-trained doctors to work here. Many foreign-trained doctors in the Vancouver area are doing jobs way below their qualifications while many people cannot even get a family doctor. Crazy. Econonically, there seems to have been no plan at all from the government as we exited the pandemic. At least the US had a plan, to 'build back better'. Our government just floats along as if everything is fine, when the decline is very visible especially to older Canadians. We have admitted 1/2 a million people a year from overseas, so our economy should reflect this and show an upswing. But no, we're in a 'technical recession' as of December and probably a real recession as of last week. I have never voted Conservative in my life, but Trudeau is a flaky dimwit with a famous name who has no clue what he is doing. A fool, in fact. He's mismanaged our foreign relations beyond belief, and nothing has improved domestically. When Pierre Poilievre says 'Canada is broken', I believe it. We deserve much better leadership; in Canada's case, the rot does come from the top. Justin the entitled idiot is much more like his mother than his father.\n\nLong rant. Great video, candid and honest appraisal of the current situation in Canada. We moved to Canada from the UK 20 years ago and initially we loved every minute. But the slow spiral into the hell hole since Trudeau took power has totally changed our opinion of Canada. We have now retired and spend winter in the USA and considering leaving if Trudeau gets re-elected next time around. Also we have to say how Canadians are very disingenuous and can be two faced.\nWe do have many Canadian friends but in 20 years we are not that close to them.

I've also lived in Vancouver for 3 years, Toronto for 5 years, returned to Montreal for another 3 years, and have now been in Quebec City for 15 years.\n\nAs a Quebec City resident and business owner, I find the city amazing. During the pandemic, there were many programs and subsidies available. I even wrote to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau regarding the CEBA program for businesses, suggesting some changes to the eligibility criteria. They followed through, and Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau sent a detailed response, signed by him but likely written by his staff, explaining the revised criteria and suggesting other potential programs. Provincially, my MP's staff guided me through various programs. Ultimately, I received nearly everything I needed to survive and potentially thrive through the pandemic (to be confirmed in 2024).\n\nTaxes are high, but I feel safe in Quebec City. Crime rates are low, and I've experienced little racism, possibly due to my fluency in French. Starting a business here has been easy, with minimal costs and bureaucracy.\n\nAs a gay man, I've never felt endangered. And I have so much respect for all of your decisions especially the last one! \nMy husband and I are also\nContemplating the same thing and are hoping to be able to take this decision soon inshAllah.\n\nI would recommend Oman in the gulf beside Dubai. I lived there for a few years. It has both the cultural Islamic aspect but is also\nDeveloped and modern enough to enjoy. My issue with Dubai is that has lost its Islamic culture and unfortunately I feel that a lot of the Gulf countries are quite shallow and vain when it comes to money and materialism, something I worry about when raising my children as well. But oman literally has it all and their pay is high plus one of the highest currencies.

I just moved to Karachi, Pakistan, and life is just wonderful, the best schools, my 10 year old niece is making video games, and she goes to Haq academy. The tuition fees is 25000 rupees per month, rent for a nice house/apartment is around $500.00, you can live here comfortably for about $1200/month. Great video! However you forgot to mention an important fact about our Government. As you may be aware our Prime Minister Trudeau brought an SS Nazi into our Parliament who was received with a standing ovation from all parties. Canada is on a dangerous political trajectory. Canadians have seen their right to free speech challenged by Trudeau who illegally brought action against the Freedom Convoy. Trudeau also through Bill C-11 is controlling the media so that he can decide what information Canadians may receive.

I got half way into this video and couldn't stop laughing. You are talking about inadequate housing construction. It is absurd to claim that local governments here are not permitting new housing projects. I live in Yaletown in Vancouver and am an avid cyclist. I ride all over the city and post vids of my ride on my YT channel. If you watch any of those, you will quickly realize that construction projects are ongoing throughout the city. You will also see lots of sign board notices along the Cambie and Oak St. corridors of future construction projects. I am an old guy and lived here my whole life. Vancouver has never seen construction like this before.

I'm Canadian too, born and raised, and I have to say this is accurate. Shit health care, insane taxes, low pay, impossible cost of living.... I live in a rural town now (used to live in a city!!) and even here it's becoming unbearable. Genuinely thinking of changing countries in the next 5 years once I get my act together.\n\nThe video also didn't address the political problem. Only 3 serious parties (the rest are niche and don't address Canada properly as a whole), and two of them partnered so you effectively have two parties. One of them has ramped up the deficit and deflected all housing problems, and the other is hellbent on private healthcare, ignoring environmentalism, and helping their rich friends. Impossible to vote for real representation.

The video falls short. The legal system is just as broken as the health system and education has turned into indoctrination.\n\nBut most important is that there is no freedom of expression. The govt. has frozen innocent people's bank accounts with no court order just because they did not align with govt's ideology. There's also active persecution of people that criticize govt. and there's higher than ever govt. corruption.\n\nIf you have kids, the govt. promotes gender transition and as a parent you have no power to even delay—let alone stop—your kid from following irreversible medical procedures.\n\nIn short, Canadian govt. treats you badly and is looking for new ways to invade people's privacy, like implementing CBDC and a social credit system.\nAnyone who does their homework will not consider Canada a place to live in.

Thank you for this detailed and super helpful video. Could you please help me with one question - I followed all the steps and completed the forms for my mother and father. After that I also selected principal applicant and relationship of my mom to the applicant. However, after that when I click 'save and continue' it does not take me to the fee page but it takes me back to the group table and asks me to select principal applicant again. This has happened 10 times now and I don't know how to proceed to the fee payment page. Is this a common error or do I need to wait for sometime?

Or probably didn’t even know that it is doable.\n3) Employment- I am glad to see you found a skilled workplace somewhat related to your career. If you had to go through odd jobs, you would have left Canada within a month. \n4) Hospitals- Indian Government hospitals works the same way. Priorities go to life threatening patients first. But as an ex-Indian, we love spending arms and legs of money. Our loved ones survive going in private hospitals without insurance. \n5) socializing & jokes- I think you should’ve moved to Brampton so you can be part of the ghettoized community we have created there. so what day by day their crime rates are going high, we can at least understand the joke we can laugh on there. And there is no home sickness feeling.\n6) Weed!! - India has legalized alcohol, tobacco consumption. It does not mean anyone can go buy this. Even to buy legal weed in Canada you have to show your ID. There is no requirement of whining about it. Everybody knows that you have to do all the work yourself,no maids, cooks, etc. like India.These facts have been there for years, nothing new about them. If people want to got there for further education, it is different, but then Canada is not all that good as far as higher education is concerned, there are better countries to choose from with better weather conditions and better lifestyle and high class education. Who would want to live in a cold and inhospitable country, payig through your nose. Here in India, if we fall sick even with just cough / cold, we can go to the nearest doctor and get medicines, sometimes we can even just ask the pharmaists to help us to choose some medicines for pharmasist here are half doctors.\nEven our standard of living has become so good, that we don't even feel like shifting to a new country. We have metros, good buses both AC as well as non AC, good trains, good resturaunts, hotels, what is it that we don't have here?\nIt is always better living as a first class citizen in our own country, than living like second class citizen elsewhere. The attraction and the charm of living abroad is no longer there.\nOur country has improved so much and so fast in the last 10 years, we have good bathrooms in schools and other public places, which was not there previously. Only drawback in our country is the traffic and infrastructure, which will also become better, but will take time, because of our country's population.\nIn fact you will find servants and watchmen all coming to work in a bikes or scooters, which was unthinkable some years back. Their life has changed for the better, they live in rented flats/or on lease, their children study in good schools and so on, and they dress also so well, that you cannot differentiate between them and the people they work for.\nMany of the so called advanced countries do not have many well educated people like our country, the children there are not as knowledgeabe like Indian kids, their knowledge is limited to the town they live in, they don't know anything about the world outside.\nAnd now with the Khalistani terrorist living freely there it is all the more dangerous. And on top of it, it is a country ruled by a dumb Prime Minister, who has to give asylums to all good for nothing, ( and all only for votes) uneducated people whose only job is to sell drugs to kids and indulge in terrorism and threaten people.\nGood thing, you have come back, for there is nothing like sweet home.

I'm not Indian, I'm indigenous from Canada and I grew up in Vancouver, where the population is mostly from Asia. Being surrounded by people of asian descent is very normal for me. I don't expect anyone to assimilate and lose their culture to exist here. I knew we had a large population of Sikhs here but I didn't think it was nearly as many as in India... and now I find out there are more sikhs here than in India. Amazing. I also didn't know we had so many Sikhs in parliament, let alone Indians. My school is mostly Indian and everyone I talk to has come from Punjab. Everyone seems to love it here, and the school is in the middle of little Punjab so I've been told by my classmates it is the perfect place for the students who are homesick because they are surrounded by their community. I rarely hear English when I walk down the halls, there is even a course to learn to speak Punjabi, which I want to take so I can talk to the students who don't speak English as well. We have many large gurdwaras, and one near me I've eaten langar almost everyday for the past 10 years. Most people here know Sikhs to be very generous and humble. It was a shock to me when I heard the president of Guru Nanak Gurdwara was shot, because I believed Sikhs to be very kind and peaceful, and the gurdwara has a very good reputation as they take lots of food into Vancouver and feed the homeless. They even opened a kitchen in the DTES during the pandemic to be able to have food available to the people immediately. No one else did anything like that. They delivered a lot of food. Now they have an auxiliary kitchen in the DTES permanently that serves free meals. I thought more news would come out of the shooting but it seemed quiet for a bit until Trudeau accused the Indian government of the attack. This news also shocked me, so I decided to start looking into it slowly. I couldn't really get a good idea of what was going on until I searched a video for Diwali and your videos came up. I will share it with my husband so he can be educated on the matter as well. Thank you for your diligent research and dissemination of important knowledge.
