I have had to go to the states and overseas for help. All I've ever been offered in Alberta is a prescription i?

I've lived in both. Canada is a better place to raise your family for sure, and as a society I think it's a better place to live. It's cleaner, safer, and more diverse (and I'm talking real diversity like Aba mentioned, not segregation). There's some cool stuff about the States, don't get me wrong, but my girlfriend (who is American and has visited Canada with me) and I are strongly contemplating moving to Canada. The US has a better night life culture generally speaking and like Aba said there's more to do, but generally speaking I just want a peaceful and simple life.

On the U.S side millions of dollars are being made, on the Canadian side millions of dollars are being spent. Now they’re being sent to hotels in Niagara Falls, housing these criminals has cost over $100 million to Canadian taxpayers. Not to mention the wages we pay for the rcmp bellhops who’ve been carrying luggage for the last 7 years.

The Canadian border police have to say that but they will let them in and care for them. I am a Canadian and I’ve had mixed feelings about it way back before I grew up. I’m 52 years old. These people are looking for better lives and there’s no reason that countries that have the resources can’t help them. I’m sorry I just feel like it’s our duty to take care of them. My family came from Europe in the war. If I was not let in here I mean my family I wouldn’t have this great life in Canada hope y’all can have compassion and we can all help each other.

Idk. I can’t knock their decision that’s for sure. My whole life I’ve wished my grandparents had kept on walking north. They did it legally but if only they’d kept walking north toward reasonable access to healthcare and fewer mass shootings. You know this might actually work out well for Canada. Despite what xenophobic people would have one believe, most of these people are some of the hardest working, law abiding citizens you’ll ever meet.

Justin Trudeau has destroyed the housing market in Canada! No one could afford a house, or even to rent a house, or an apartment, or to buy groceries or gasoline for their vehicles to go to work! Canada is in the worst shape that I’ve ever seen in my entire 60 years of life

I'm all for people coming here to Canada, as long as they get a job, pay their taxes and keep their noses clean. Priority should be given to anyone with specialized training like doctors and trades. Honestly just about every doctor I've ever seen was originally from India or was Asian. I just don't want to have a translator to understand them, we need more people like that with some kind of education and training.

I’ve always been wondering how cocaine enters Canada.

How sad! They've walked thousands of miles with the hope for a new life! \n I have no answer buy o do not blame those people nor hate hate them.\n This is heart breaking

I've got a solution to the US immigration problem. Send them to Canada since it seems friendlier. I would love to see how Canada reacts

*Did your white ancestors arrive legally?*\n\n*Trick question, there was no such thing until recently when some white people got overzealous with the stolen land. And Mexicans (who are also North Americans) and South Americans have always traveled throughout these lands. White people have NOT.*\n\n*Not saying white people can’t stay per se, just don’t be heartless mindless hypocrites with the STOLEN land. ESPECIALLY if you STILL treat Native Americans and other Indigenous Peoples like ethnic Mexicans as invaders and so-called “illegal aliens” (as ridiculous and offencive as that term is in the first place) when they’ve always been here and your ancestors came either through invasion or being refugees themselves not that long ago!*\n\n*Remember whose land you are on.*

Canada is Paradise. If you've come from far away and need a life that you will truly love , apply here. America has better advertising I suppose, but Canada will embrace you . ♥️??
2023-03-13 0
Clearly they need a wall for several miles in either direction. I think they need to transport them to Montreal and put them on the next flight to south America or Africa. Canada doesn't deserve this BS that we've gone through here. Their country doesn't deserve to be trashed.
2023-03-13 0
Hey CNN's actually covering a border story. And they've decided to include the word illegal and border crossing in the same sentence. Amazing. There might be hope for you guys yet.
2023-03-13 0
Tear gas, rubber bullets should've been flying. \nThis is a disgrace to our country.\nYou can't get in Canada with a 5 year old assault charge. Why should America be so easy to enter. \nI'm not paying taxes anymore.

I've got nothing against legal migration and people wanting a better life. But this just set things back decades and will be a huge dog-whistle for all MAGA republicans for years to come. Geez people, what the hell?
2023-03-13 0
Dumbest video I’ve ever seen. Why did you just give .5 for people taking their shoes off. I have seen so many Canadians who don’t take their shoes off at home
2023-03-13 0
Listen to these baby’s crying over how long it takes for processing, that they’ve been waiting 3 to 6 months ? I had aunts and uncles wait YEARS to finally get in LEGALLY. \n\nFirst they force their way in to Mexico, Mexico does nothing about it and now they want to force their way to ?? United States…. Oh and they want us to feel sorry for them. \n\nAlso complaining about conditions in Mexico, complaining about food they’re given by good people in Mexico. Absolutely pathetic and this is only making them look worse.

Hello sir, thank you so much for this video. It's really helpful for me. Actually, I've only one question regarding in representative form's signature section do I and my parents need to sign digitally or we should fill that form and print it then sign physically and scan it and upload it? Kindly grant me solution of this issue. Thank you in advance!!! I'm awaiting your prompt response.

ahh so the ultra strict customs / border control inspection is true huh? I've heard about it from some Aussies who politely but firmly decline us giving them goodbye presents that happen to be food / ingredients for cooking. we couldn't understand why because of all the visitors to our country, Aussies and Kiwis are some of the more adorably adventurous eaters.???‍♀️

I don't have anything to say good I don't want to touch this subject? all I'm going to say is I've I'm second generation Canadian, and I don't want to live here. Neither will you trust me your gonna want to find somewhere better.

This does not describe my experience with healthcare in Canada. I've received mostly very good care.

Just about every issue you covered I've heard about here in the States. Thanks for an excellent summary of the reality now.

All people living in countries with nationalized health want to continue the lie that it actually offers quality service. There is so much proof everywhere that this is not true. Canada is a perfect example.\n\nAs someone who worked for the largest hospital chain I can tell you that 30% of our revenue at hospitals we owned along the US northern border came from Canadian citizens. It kind of makes you wonder, if Canadians get amazing high quality free healthcare, why would they drive to another country to pay for it? \n\nThe truth is anybody in the countries that have socialized medicine that can afford to, ops for private care. That is a fact worldwide that nobody likes to admit. Long waits to get treatment. Long lines once you get to the facility. Piss poor quality care by people who hate your guts because every one of you has entitled lightest coming out of your ears. But why shouldn't you… you've over paid for the shit your entire life and now it's time to use it so you think you should be treated like royalty.

Well Canada is a great country, my grand parents were able to get here in 1957 with their 3 kids, after going through and surviving WWII, work in Europe was scarce and employers were abusing their workers everywhere. My dad was one of those 3 children's, he met my mother here, they had me and my sister. Today i have 3 boys of my own and my sister has 2 girls. Canada has any country as their plusses and minuses, but i wouldn't live anywhere else. I've lived my whole life on the south shore of Montréal, worked in and around Montréal for 35 years. Never ran out of work as long as i was willing and able to work. I've worked in all my life, 65% immigrants and 35% Québecer's. There both are kinda racists in some way and they have there own reasons as well. I was bullied in school till i was 11 years old, i had an accent and dressed differently since my dad made our clothing. Being ridiculed, pushed, punched etc, and then one day the bully of the school approached me and wanted to fight me. I was scared, everyone else were laughing, so i clenched my fist and punched that kid right on the nose. Everyone got quiet and the principal came out, we went to his office and then he asked me straight away : Are you gonna do this again or was it a one time thing ?? I said it will be one time thing unless someone else wants to fight me again, then i will have to defend myself again. He said ok and now go back to class, and that was that. But in the 1970's with the augmentation of people moving here after WWII, people in Canada were scared immigrants would steal their jobs etc. My grand father worked all his life till he died at 82 years old. Worked 6 days a week, 12 to 16 hours a day. My dad had worked all his life 70 hours a week and sometimes 85 hours a week. People complaining about doctors or hospitals, a lot are going in for a cold, the flu, headaches etc, for sure take 2 aspirin or tylenol and stay home, no need to see a doctor for that. If you have a broken limb or were in an accident, you go right in and get fixed up without issue really. Any country as it's inconveniences in the end ?
2023-02-28 0
Maybe talk about who actually sold black people to other groups and that it was black people lol. We should be teaching people about history and how far we've come. It feels like so many want to keep this topic going, why not educate people on racism that goes on in China? The school system these days doesn't help but turn out cry baby activists.

You took every word out of my mouth ?. I'm thankful for the good I've learned and lived. But the downs are bigger than the ups. So I totally agree with you guys.

I’ve visited Canada a few times. The place baffles me. It’s basically an economic zone with no cultural personality. The only thing Canadians seem to believe in is being “really nice” and passively accepting anything and everything that is “progressive.” What is the point of Canada?
2023-02-25 0
I've been in Canada for nearly 25 years and have never had a family doctor, just walk in clinics. In Victoria BC the average waiting time in a walk in clinic is 2 hours 20mins and they close once they've seen their quota of patients. Not to mention I have to pay 60% of my income on rent so I now rent a parking space of a friend and live in my van

I've seen your other sketches, but this is the funniest of the bunch because, being an American, Everything you say about Canadians is absolutely true: everybody who's on t v or in the movies turns out to be Canadian. We just assume they are americans because they sound just like us. True historical fact for you guys: after the revolution, the American one that is, Benjamin Franklin, wanted to annex Canada as part of the United States, but the British turned it down. otherwise, you would have been Americans.

I've got to hand it over to whoever is marketing Canada outside Canada because they'll make you want to immigrate there. After watching this, it's discouraging to even think of moving to Canada, what you've covered in this video make it sound like life administration in Canada is unnecessarily hard

As a Canadian born in Toronto and still living there. It was so much better in the 80s and 90s. The liberal government has ruined this country in the last 8 years. Don’t come. It’s too expensive. Immigrants come to cities especially Toronto. There is nothing but low minimum wage jobs for you. If you can line up a great paying job and housing before you move, then do it. If not you are going to struggle. My Uber drivers are doctors and engineers in their country. If you’re thinned skinned or have any anxiety forget it. Sorry for the blunt truth. I love living here but I’ve been lucky.

Spot on buddy. \n\n\nAU will eject you at one point no skin colour preference, Australia is the worst I've been here for 8 years and jumped from one job to another and was sponsored by employers FB Manager in Hotel with more then 6 digits salary looking at leaving that doesn't have any transition to PR.\n\n\nWell done on the video.

Personnally, I've been listening to a podcast named the Drunken Peasants (and another called Deep Fat Fried). I like the US but definitely don't want to live there:\n-Guns and school shootings\n-Republicans, creationists, and fundamentalist christians\n-Unaffordable health care to the point of spawning Breaking Bad\n-Violent gangs and police brutality\n-White supremacists and stupid people such as Trump and his voters.\n\nYeah sorry but no thanks. Go Canada!

I just moved to Tomar, Portugal in December and I don't regret it. I worked out of Ottawa before, and it was starting to get really depressing. After COVID hit and I stayed working out of my basement, the isolation got to be a bit too much. It was getting to the point you couldn't even share an opinion with someone for fear of ostracizing yourself. I've already made new friends from a bunch of different countries, and the locals have been warm and welcoming. Very happy to start a new life here.

I’ve only lived in the states and in a small town in the south and I must say there is a nice sense of community in the small towns. I do have to drive at least 45min to find a restaurant that isn’t a chain tho

Very true. I moved to Canada at the age of 20 going on 21 in 1990 and in a few months, I am turning 54. I've been to college twice and I could not get a job in the fields I studied for; instead I am working in a factory and I've worked hard. I'm on medical leave, but I'm now waiting to return to work and my employer has not been making it easy to return. I plan to return to my home country once I retire, because I hate winter weather and when it gets cold, my arthritis flares up and it will get worse as I age. It's very expensive here, car insurance, house insurance, phone bills, grocery bills, property taxes, and federal taxes. You work and work and you get 2 weeks vacation and sometimes, you don't even get to enjoy it. I remember getting sick when I took my holidays. You work long and crappy hours for just enough money to pay expenses and you don't really get to enjoy life. Canada is a beautiful country, but when do you get time to explore and enjoy it? Right now for me, it seems to be when I retire I'll be able to do that, if I can afford it (remember, taxes are high).

? I’ve never visited Canada but I will visit this year.

I've been Canadian my whole life, but went to California for vacation when I was a teen. At least where I'm from in Canada (BC) its just normal to smile and say hi when passing by someone. It just feels nice to do. But in California, I'd be left feeling embarrassed, people looking at me like I'm weird for smiling at strangers

Hi. First of all thank you for your video. Keep up the amazing work. I have 2 questions for you. I am in Canada on an open work permit for almost 4 years and I already have a job now for 3.5 years in Canada. I am now applying for my PR. I understand I don't need an LMIA for my PR application because I was exempt on an open work permit and I've worked with my employer for over a year. Is this true? Should I submit my application without an LMIA? Secondly, once I am in the express entry pool, I can apply to PNP and update my express entry profile once I receive the PNP right?

As an American with a Canadian dad... I gotta say the Tap Water thing hits hard! If I try to drink just tap water it tastes like I got it from a hose in my backyard. I've gotta use a Britta filter ALWAYS lol

I feel like there's a certain segment of people in each country who grow disillusioned with their home country and want to move. I've never been to Canada, nor do I know anyone who lives there. Would I move there? I don't know maybe. Every country has good and bad things. Though the US where I am from is very segmented in it of itself with good things and bad things
