Long wait times for doctor’s appointments and then you have highly qualified doctors that migrated to Canada but are forced to drive Uber and do other gigs because of the long, costly and frustrating processes they have in place to integrate them into the medical workforce.. ??‍♂️

America’s population climate condition established industry all are different then canada it should compare with Nordic nations or small European nation not with USA it’s all different it competes with giant economies CHINA JAPAN EUROPZONE INDIA RUSSIA ETC CANADA and AUSTRALIA always been developed for natural resources of the first world due to the size of land mass it’s hard to maintain such a large territory with less populations overall housing affordability with income growth healthcare sector improvement and 21st century digital economy revolution needed

Less inequality just means equally poor. Canada has a higher ratio of homelessness than the u.s…. It’s a 3rd world economy disguised as a first world. Much like Australia

Canada is heavily control by US. All Canadian politicians are pro-US and kind of giving up expanding our trades with other countries. Don't think it would change. Canadian left the country and working in US would likely come back after retirement. As medical would be too expensive for them after retirement.

The best thing for Canada is to be annexed to USA

Republicans don’t want Mexicans and Central Americans. Democrats don’t want Venezuelans. Sad. USA, Canada, and Mexico have so much land that we could all share North America.

Meh. Here in Canada, our winter is much, much more intense. We're stuck during months in feets of snow, especially in the est. The fact that we keep going through the winter is an amazing achievement in itself.

The problem with Canada is that it's governed by idiots.

Most of the skilled worker in Canada are outsider, all of them have to pass canada's exams to work. Even if you are a top doctor in your country you will have to pass a exam to now work in Canada. Other business include scammy higher educaton businesses and petrochemical.

When i was younger i thought Canada was a better version of the US, I have second thoughts about that now,

You nailed it! Literally my experience. I have to say, I am very disappointed with my life in Canada. I am planning to leave.
2023-05-03 0
This is why I think Canada should be annexed, I mean united with the US.\nWe have a lot of oil in Alberta. Why didn't they send their troops to give us some democracy yet.

The problem is Trudeau and Freeland. Wasting our money and ignoring the real people of Canada. Be gone Trudeau you woke A Hole

Canada doesn’t have an economy anymore: it only relies on an outdated 1970s immigration system to keep boosting its population growth by around 1% a year! The immigrants are required to bring in roughly $10k per person which quickly evaporates within the ‘economy’ as most new comers struggle to,find decent jobs in the first 1-2 years of their arrival. So the ponzi scheme continues. Why do new arrivals put up with this? Well especially after Covid, vast majority of new arrivals are from countries where the economic situation is desperate. If you see new immigrants they are dominated (immigrants plus student visas) by one country - a large democratIC country on a large continent - most are effectively desperate economic refugees but the sleepy govt’s in Canada don’t care: let social devices get stretched, no cannot find a decent family doctor in any urban area, rents keep, sky rocketing, yet just let immigrants esp from one former ‘jewel in the crown’ come in unchecked!

Historically, Canada's economy has been driven by exporting raw materials. Consequently, the country lacks infrastructure to enable other markets and the populace lacks imagination and skills in other arenas that might drive innovation. We are not an intellectually sophisticated people.

Thank you for the review.\nPlease, I'll like to know what I can do to move from UK to Canada

A bunch of stupid immigrants they make them believe Canada is promise land ?

Living in Canada is like living in my freezer!! I love my warm sunshine ☀️
2023-04-27 0
This is what happens when you have a long time corrupt and selfish government. We definitely need to get Trudeau out of the political scene of the world. He is destroying Canada and its once brilliant future.

Imagine having an economy based so heavily on housing...it cannot possibly be sustainable. The fact that nobody wants to live outside of Toronto, MTL, Vancouver or other big cities doesn't help. The only reason people buy houses in places like Barrie or Hamilton is because they can no longer afford anything in Toronto or the immediate suburbs. \n\nThe future of Canada is 5 giant mega-metropolises, with undeveloped wilderness everywhere else.

So, Canadians are supposed to listen to financial advice from a non Canadian about Canada. Thanks

So grateful to see all the comments. I'm moving to Canada soon and the comments from locals helped me understand the ground reality.\nI have questions about small business/ start ups, can any of you fine people help me with these? \n1. What are the major challenges of starting a small business/startups? \n2. Is expensive mobile data a major hindrance to the growth of apps which provide services? \n3. Red flags/negatives of starting a small business. Taxes, govt procedures, ease of doing business, etc.\n4. Is funding for a good app based business idea available easily? \n5. If I have an app based idea and the backend/IT operations run out of India what could be the issues I could face legally or taxwise? \n\nWill really appreciate guidance as I'm new to Canada and really looking for real business advice. Thanks much.

I already knew that Canada had a lot of in common with Australia but this an another thing we have in common. We're not as entrepreneurial and innovative as the US but we have a resources economy and people tend to invest in property (because it's a safe investment).\n\nI would still much rather live in Australia or Canada than the US though. Universal health care, for example.

The current Liberal gov't has certainly done Canada absolutely no favours over the years.

Can confirm, Canada is a landfill.

I emigrated to Canada in 2020 and I like to live here but I plan to relocate to US in this year. And there is only one reason for that - real estate. It is literally impossible to buy a house in Greater Toronto Area where you need at least 1 million to buy something decent.

Canada and America have strain relations? That’s news to me.

Firstly, CANADA is an UGLY CITY compared with MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES in EUROPE. The Coldness would get you depressed! Is EITHER you stay back in AUSTRALIA or you MOVE to EUROPE...where you can see beautiful cities and landscapes. Countries LIKE IRELAND ?? , NETHERLANDS ??, SWITZERLAND ?? ETC. and guess what, you can easily migrate from one county to another with a Train or Bus. \n\nYou are welcome

Canadas biggest problem is it’s run by someone who has no clue & no business being in the pms office. He’s a disgrace & a traitor to the country. I truly believe he is destroying Canada on purpose, no one could be that incompetent.

The trouble with Canada is that no political party is capable of simultaneously gaining power while also making the difficult structural changes that would make the country more competitive. Successive governments have pandered to the needs of baby boomers protecting their housing wealth, to the detriment of literally everyone else. Young Canadians head south where they can make 2x more money, knowing they can always come back when they are rich. It’s a terrible predicament with no easy solution.

One of the things that I don't get is why Canadian businesses hardly made any effort to explore other markets other than the Canadian & US market. Canada is located in the middle between Asia & Europe and they also are located pretty close to Latin American countries. Yet very few Canadian companies are willing to expand beyond the US market. I feel like Canadian companies are too complacent and like the video said risk averse. Having said that, I don't think being risk averse is such a bad thing. At least the local banks can withstand crises better compared to a high risk business environment like the US. There are always pros and cons in every environment to me.

People here are wasting money like fools to go to Canada just for the sake of their Ego & Pride.

Been to Canada once. I really liked it while I was there but that was 9 years ago. Seeing the government going communist I would not want to live there. Same here in the area that used to be called the USA without borders. Communism. But I do live in Texas born, raised really not a bad place but the World aliens racing across our border makes me so mad.

Let me just comment based on the title. I guess you gonna talk about the challenges of living in Canada? So, do you know how many Youtube video like this for every country in the world? When you want to move to another country, you have to weigh the pros and cons compared to where you live now! Otherwise there is no perfect country in the world!

My father moved to Canada as a five-year-old shortly after WW2… shortly after that, when he was 12, he moved to the US with my grandparents to make more $$.. shortly after that, Vietnam broke out and believe it or not people in the country on work visas, children got drafted…so my father went to beautiful British Columbia where I was born.. and thank God my dad disobeyed American orders or I wouldn’t exist…☝????

Canada and the US operate under the same jurisdiction. ICE literally will drive across and start collecting Mexicans like Pokémon

We barely have housing in Canada too?

I tried...I will now fly to Canada and try again and network....I think the perseverance will pay off.

100% with you. It’s the liberal government and especially CBC and other media that are pushing a far left ideology. It’s destroying everything that make the country work.\nThe taxing rate is destroying the economy. You are left with half your income, out of that you get taxed 15% on expense and if you buy expert (plumber, carpenter) they too loose half of it. This is destroying the productive free economy. It’s at a point it might collapse.\n\nIf we want to save Canada we have to vote conservative and return to the value that work, freedom, low taxes, small government.

Homeless situation up here in Canada is incredibly out of hand. Tent cities everywhere except the upper class policed communities as per usual. They vote em in then throw em at the working class communities to deal with.\n I was out for the first time in my boat yesterday, and cruised past 2 homeless tent communities on the shoreline of Hamilton Ont. I was only on the water for an hour so I'm sure there are more.
